  • This paper suggests a method to refine a massive collective intelligence data, and visualize with multilevel sentiment network, in order to understand information in an intuitive and semantic way. For this study, we first calculated a frequency of sentiment words from each movie review. Second, we designed a Heatmap visualization to effectively discover the main emotions on each online movie review. Third, we formed a Sentiment-Movie Network combining the MDS Map and Social Network in order to fix the movie network topology, while creating a network graph to enable the clustering of similar nodes. Finally, we evaluated our progress to verify if it is actually helpful to improve user cognition for multilevel analysis experience compared to the existing network system, thus concluded that our method provides improved user experience in terms of cognition, being appropriate as an alternative method for semantic understanding.

The characteristics of the words consists of 38% introversion, 47% extraversion, and 14% ambiversion. And, respondents used the words like 'beautiful' and 'good-looking' to the stimuli to which they felt favorable, and 'ill-tempered' and 'stubborn' to the stimuli to which they felt unfavorable. Third, the most favorable style to both male and female respondents in 60s were sentimental and good-mannered. They generally favor women who are soft and caring, and dislike talkative, snobbish, and thick make-up women. The analysis results in this paper may help image making and personal relations. Further study needs to expand the survey area to ensure more significant influence on the social life and interpersonal relationship of senior citizens.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the university students' stress and relationship satisfaction with their mother. For this purpose , 420 students were selected in Seoul area, and data were analyzed by the statistical methods, such as the Cronbach'a coefficient, Frequency, Percentile, Arithmetic Mean, Standard Deviation, One-Way ANOVA, Peason's Corelation and stepwised Multiple Regression Analysis though SPSS win PC+. The main results are as followed: (1) University students experience stress some extent through all the areas such as communication, dating, choosing occupation, daily activity, or pocket money. But the level of stress shows lower tendency relatively. (2)Students with the lower self-differentiation perceive more stress from mother. When using avoidance coping and personnel dependence coping, the level of stress is high. (3)Several variables(problem-focused coping, self-differentiation of emotional independence, avoidance coping, communication stress, daily activity stress, and sentimental self-differentiation) significiently influence relationship satisfaction with their mother. These variables explain 52% of the satisfaction with mother.

A total of 22, 187 texts were shown from the big data collection. Collected big data were analyzed using text-mining, network, and CONCOR analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, many keywords related to clothing care were shown from the result of frequency analysis such as style, Dryer, LG Electronics, Product, Customer, Clothing, and Styler. Consumers were well recognizing and having an interest in recent information related to the clothing care system. Second, various keywords such as product, function, brand, and performance, were linked to each other which were fundamentally related to the clothing care. The interest in products of the clothing care system were linked to product brands that were also naturally linked to consumer interest. Third, the keywords in the network showed similar attributes from the result of CONCOR analysis that were classified into 4 groups such as the characteristics of purchase, product, performance, and interest. Lastly, positive emotions including goodwill, interest, and joy on the clothing care system were strongly expressed from the result of the sentimental analysis.

  • The comtemporary architecture has not an discourse on form and representative style, but a new architectural concept of the generative process through the various relationship of the urban context, the continuity of the time and the experience of the people. This architectureal concepts make new and various architectural attempts to have a virtuality. The viruality is a reality to coexist with the present in contemporary philosophy. Daniel libeskind makes various arhcitectural experimentative attempts to reveal his virtuality through his memory as the Jews and his unconscious virtuality. The 'line' has the connotation of architectural reality and virtuality. Every line drawn becomes architectural form for example, walls, windows and makes spaces, and reveal a boundary as a connection. Architecture's visibility understates and structures its invisible aspect, so that the visible and the invisible make the architecture together. Daniel libeskind maks the virtual lines having the invisible of unconsious, time, and place. He no longer divide the form of architecture, its spatiality from all the implications which it adresses beyond its own particular built time and place and public unconsious mind. He demands the 'virtual line' that remembers distress and the past and reveal the virtuality of time and place. The virtual line is the sentimental communication of architecture.

  • Our goal is to build the system which collects tweets from Twitter, analyzes the sentiment of each tweet, and helps users build a sentiment tagged corpus semi-automatically. After collecting tweets with the Twitter API, we analyzes the sentiments of them with a sentiment dictionary. With the proposed system, users can verify the results of the system and can insert new sentimental words or dependency relations where sentiment information exist. Sentiment information is tagged with the JSON structure which is useful for building or accessing the corpus. With a test set, the system shows about 76% on the accuracy in analysing the sentiments of sentences as positive, neutral, or negative.

  • With the rapid development of e-commerce, many customers can now express their opinion on various kinds of product at discussion groups, merchant sites, social networks, etc. Discerning a consensus opinion about a product sold online is difficult due to more and more reviews become available on the internet. Opinion Mining, also known as Sentiment analysis, is the task of automatically detecting and understanding the sentimental expressions about a product from customer textual reviews. Recently, researchers have proposed various approaches for evaluation in sentiment mining by applying several techniques for document, sentence and aspect level. Aspect-based sentiment analysis is getting widely interesting of researchers; however, more complex algorithms are needed to address this issue precisely with larger corpora. This paper introduces an approach of knowledge representation for the task of analyzing product aspect rating. We focus on how to form the nature of sentiment representation from textual opinion by utilizing the representation learning methods which include word embedding and compositional vector models. Our experiment is performed on a dataset of reviews from electronic domain and the obtained result show that the proposed system achieved outstanding methods in previous studies.

  • The aims of this study are to investigate the environmental perception of elementary school students through picture drawing and associated words about environment, and analyze whether there are differences in the environmental perception according to living places and grades. The drawing of 230 students are analysed and categorized into the criteria. The results are as follows: a number of students realized as images associated with natural environment for words related to environment. In the pictures of the 'positive environment', expression frequencies of natural environment and living things were higher than ones of artificial environment and non-living things. On the other hand, there were many pictures expressed as pollutions of waste, air and water in the pictures of the 'negative environment'. Comparison of environmental perception between rural and urban students showed a significant difference all in the two criteria. There was, however, no difference in the environmental perception between grades. Therefore, it is suggested that student's minds about the sentimental situation can be studied and they can be guided in positive directions to lead their future life in environment-friendly education rather than pollution education.

  • My former thesis was about the present status of Korean film aesthetics of Korean blockbusters through the cultural hybridity. Now this thesis focuses on hybridity and tragedy in Korean blockbusters from the postcolonial perspectives. Typical examples are Shiri, JSA, Taegukgi containing a special Korean situation of division ideology and expressing an extremely Western style of production. These movies hardly provide any historical causes, critical explanation, or vision beyond the discourse of national tragedy. They simply supply sentimental feeling of sympathizing with the misfortune of heroes in the course of national suffering. Therefore, these movies shows limitation not to accomplish postcolonial resistance.
