SEC Approach for Detecting Node Replication Attacks in Static Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Security is more important in many sensor applications. The node replication attack is a major issue on sensor networks. The replicated node can capture all node details. Node Replication attacks use its secret cryptographic key to successfully produce the networks with clone nodes and also it creates duplicate nodes to build up various attacks. The replication attacks will affect in routing, more energy consumption, packet loss, misbehavior detection, etc. In this paper, a Secure-Efficient Centralized approach is proposed for detecting a Node Replication Attacks in Wireless Sensor Networks for Static Networks. The proposed system easily detects the replication attacks in an effective manner. In this approach Secure Cluster Election is used to prevent from node replication attack and Secure Efficient Centralized Approach is used to detect if any replicated node present in the network. When comparing with the existing approach the detection ratio, energy consumption performs better.

  • 무선 센서네트워크에서 센서 커버리지와 네트워크 연결성 문제는 노드의 제한된 탐지거리와 통신거리로 인해 발생한다. 커버리지와 연결성 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되었지만 대부분의 연구가 무선 센서네트워크 배치에 영향을 주는 다양한 환경요소를 고려하고 있지 않기 때문에 실환경에 적용되는데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 감시정찰 센서네트워크에서 지형, 식생, 기상 등 환경요소와 제한된 노드 수량을 고려하여 노드를 배치하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안방법은 감시정찰 센서네트워크 시스템의 설치 절차를 IPB분석을 통한 배치영향 요소파악, 센서 탐지범위 기반 센서노드 배치, 모니터링 장소 선정, RF 통신범위 기반 중계노드 배치와 같이 4단계로 구분하고, 감시정찰 센서네트워크 시스템 특정과 환경 영향요소를 고려하여 센서노드와 중계노드를 배치하는 것이다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안방법을 검증하였으며, 커버리지와 네트워크 연결성에서 성능이 향상됨을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문은 독거노인을 위한 보조 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 착용형 RFID 시스템과 게이트웨이 시스템, 서버 시스템으로 구성된다. 착용형 RFID 시스템은 장갑형태로 구성되며, 싱크노드와 RFID 리더기를 갖는 센서노드로 구성된다. 센서노드는 가구나 약병, 설탕, 소금 등의 다양한 일상생활 물체에 부착된 RFID 태그를 읽는다. 센서 노드는 무선 패킷을 싱크노드로 전송한다. 싱크노드는 수신된 패킷을 게이트웨이로 보내고, 게이트웨이는 수신된 패킷을 서버로 전달한다. 서버 시스템은 데이터베이스 서버와 웹 서버로 구성된다. 착용형 RFID 시스템에서 전달된 데이터는 데이터베이스에 저장되고, 사용자의 일상 생활 활동정보를 표시한다. 처리된 데이터는 가족이나 수발제공자, 병원관계자 등 사용자의 일상생활 패턴을 원하는 사용자에게 제공될 수 있다.

  • A self-powered piezoelectric energy harvester was developed for the application in wireless sensor node. The energy harvester was evaluated with power generation characteristics for the wireless sensor node for structural diagnosis of the electric power system. The self-powered wireless sensor node was set to measure temperature, vibration frequency of the electric power system. A piezoelectric harvester composed of 7 uni-morph cantilevers (functionalized as 6 generators and 1 vibration sensor) was connected to be an array and revealed to produce significantly high output power of approximately 10 mW at 120 Hz under 3.4 g((1 g = $9.8m/sec^2$). The wireless sensor node could work as the electric power generated by the developed piezoelectric harvester.

  • Many sensor network applications require that each node's sensor data stream be annotated with its physical location in some coordinate system. Equipping GPS on every sensor node is often expensive and does not work in indoor deployments. Recently, cricket-based localization system is often used for indoor localization system. It is very important to know the exact position of beacons in cricket-based localization system for identifying moving sensor node's position. In this paper, a new method, Mobile Listener Detect Algorithm (MLD) which can automatically calculate the unknown newly installed beacons is proposed. For the verification of the feasibility of the proposed scheme, we have conducted several experiments.

  • A Practical application of environmental monitoring system based on wireless sensor node network with the core of embedded system STR711FR2 microprocessor is presented in the paper. The adaptable and classifiable wireless sensor node network is used to achieve the data acquisition and multi-hop wireless communication of parameters of the monitoring base station environment including repeaters. The structure of the system is proposed and the hardware architecture of the system is designed, and the system operating procedures is proposed. As a result of field test, designed hardware platform operated with 50kbps bit rate and 5MHz channel spacing at 2040Hz. The wireless monitoring system can be managed and swiftly retreated without support of base station environmental monitoring.

  • Recently, indoor navigation has been applied in large convention centers by using wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which provide not only a user's path to be traveled but also orientation and shopping information to increase user's convenience. This paper presents the localization system for estimating relative coordinates without pre-deployment of the reference node based on ultra wide band (UWB) ranging system, which is relatively suitable for indoor localization compared to other wireless communications, and azimuth sensor. The proposed localization system which consists of an azimuth sensor and a mobile node composed of three nodes estimates relative coordinates of the reference node without applying any recursive and time consumption algorithms. Also, in the process of estimating relative coordinates of the reference node, ranging errors are minimized through the proposed technique and the number of nodes can be reduced. Experimental results show the feasibility and validity of the proposed system.

  • RFID/USN is important infrastructure of the ubiquitous society. And so, It is various and practical research is attempted. These two base technology have physical characteristic and complement relationship. Like this relationship is applied Following example that is system research which manages warehouse stocks and conditions. First, We adhere RFID Tag at the Pallet of the warehouse and do identification goods. And then, It grasps the environment state information of stocks with sensor module which has Zigbee wireless communication function. From like this process RFID Tag information and jop-control command of sensor node also it is exposed to air. Therefore, We control sensor node in USN/RFID environment through the mobile device. And system design for the security Apply of the process is main purpose of this paper's. We propose the condition and function of the mobile device to the secondary. And We define the relation of the sensor node with RFID to be arranged to a warehouse. Finally, This paper is designed to find a trade-off of the following viewpoints. First, We offer suitable sensor-control information to a actual manager. Second, We offer RFID tag security approach to control the action of the sensor. Third, It increases the survivability of sensor node form.

도시지상시설물 관리를 위한 최적 센서노드 배치 방법 (A Optimal Method of Sensor Node Deployment for the Urban Ground Facilities Management)

  • 국가와 도시가 급속히 발전할수록 국민생활에 필요한 기반시설물들과 관리 체계는 날로 복잡해지고, 이를 체계적으로 건설하고 유지하는 비용과 노력이 기하급수적으로 증가한다. 본 연구에서는 국가기반시설물 중 도시지상시설물을 무선 센서 네트워크로 관리하기 위해 센서노드를 설치하는 방법을 제시하였다. 먼저, 1차 분석으로 관리 대상 및 방법을 도출하여 센싱 커버리지를 만든 후, 이를 도시지상시설물에 센서노드 설치에 적용하였다. 그리고 2차 분석을 통하여 중복설치 문제의 해결 방안을 제시하였다. 제시된 방법과 수치지도를 활용하여 GIS 프로그램을 구현하였으며, 항공사진과의 중첩을 통해 관리의 방법에 현실성을 향상시켰다. 개발된 프로그램을 사용하여, 한국건설기술연구원 주변 지형에 대해 센서노드 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 중복 설치된 센서노드를 약 50% 제거하였으며, 도로를 따라 센서노드가 골고루 배치된 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, We design and implementation of Self-Charging Module for charging to battery which obtaining the environment inergy such as solar energy. The power chared battery through the charging module send to sensor node. And implementation of System Activation Module(SAM) based on ID system and Dynamic Power Management Module(DPM) with SPO(Self Power Off). This system consume power only communication between the sensor nodes. We verification this system by implementing the high efficiency poweer management system.
