The Passive Device called SAW Device of the ID Tag or a small sensor that can replace all of MEMS technology Micro Device. When using SAW Device will be able to replace that sensor control the power needed or separate space. Enlarge the scope of this advantage to use as a platform for various SAW Device is required. However, the current SAW Sensor development has many, but SAW Sensor that can leverage the platform's development is sketchy. Therefore, this paper implements SAW Reader can be measured in SAW Device Using an FPGA more simple and efficient Reader platform.
RFID applications use tags to identify objects, but recent applications tend to include diverse sensor devices such as light, temperature, and humidity sensors as well. RFID tag information is usually processed via the event driven model. However sensor devices are usually accessed via the functional call model. Therefore application developers have to deal with mixed data access models and device dependent interface functions. In this paper, we propose a sensor reader emulator that provides a consistent access interface to sensor devices regardless of the types of devices. SRE provides a more efficient way of developing RFID applications by providing a single application programmer's view to RFID tags and sensor devices. In applications where tags are fixed to a place, SRE can replace expensive sensor tags and sensor readers with inexpensive sensor devices reducing the total cost while providing the same functionality.

In recent years, one of alternatives for constructing RFID networks that provide mobile services is using wireless sensor networks (WSN) to enhance network capacity, utility and scalability. Due to absence of compatible reader anti-collision control and channel capture phenomenon, the medium access control protocols as used in the RFID networks lead to reader collision and starvation problem. In this paper, we develop a MAC protocol which is called Enhanced Collision Avoidance MAC (ECO) to avoid reader to reader collisions in an integrated RFID network. ECO is a CSMA-based MAC protocol, and operates on integrated nodes which consist of a RFID reader and a mote. Performance evaluation shows superior results to pure-CSMA protocols under dense deployment environments, both in number of failures and in throughput.

Integrated RFID-WSNs (wireless sensor networks) have recently been researched to provide object identities, sensing information, mobile service, and network functionalities. In integrated RFID-WSNs, the reader collision is one of the critical problems. Above all, due to the absence of universally applicable anti-collision protocols and the channel capture phenomenon, the medium access control protocols in integrated RFID-WSNs suffer from reader collision and starvation problems. In this paper, we propose an efficient MAC protocol, called EMP, to avoid the above problems in integrated RFID-WSNs. EMP is a CSMA-based MAC protocol which is compatible with sensor networks operating on integrated nodes which consist of an RFID reader and a senor node. EMP resolves not only the reader collision problem, but also the starvation problem using a power control mechanism. To verify the performance of EMP, we compared it with other anti-reader collision MAC protocols using simulations. As a result, the performance of EMP showed improvements in throughput, system efficiency, and energy consumption compared to the single data channel protocols (CSMA/CA, Pulse, and DiCa) in dense deployment environments.
Recently, Vision system has being used all around industry. Sensor systems are used for Mark Reader, for example, optical scanning is proximity sensor system, have many disadvantages, such as, lacking user interface and difficulty to store original specimens. In contrast with this, Vision systems for Mark Reader has many advantages, including function conversion to achieve other work, high accuracy, high speed, etc. In this thesis, we have researched the development of Mark Reader by using a Vision system. The processing course of this s)'stem is consist to Image Pre-Processing such as noise reduction, edge detection, threshold processing. And then, we have carried out camera calibration to calibrate images which are acquired from camera. After searching for reference point within scanning area(60pixe1${\times}$30pixe1), we have calculated points crossing by using line equations. And then, we decide to each ROI(region of interest) which are expressed by four points. Next we have converted absolute coordinate into relative coordinate for analysis a translation component. Finally we carry out Mark Reading with images classified by six patterns. As a result of experiment which follows the algorithm has proposed, we have get error within 0.5% from total image.

Precise temperature monitoring is the major preconditioning to supervise quality losses within the transport chain for fresh products. ISO/IEC18000-6REV1 defines new protocols supporting BAP(Battery Assisted Passive) RFID tag which is completely compatible with EPCglobal Class1 Generation2 specification. In this paper, we designed a modem supporting BAP RFID tag with FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) and implemented sensor data processing function defined in ISO/IEC18000-6REV1. The transmit block of the modem supports pulse shaping filter and the output signal of the implemented RFID reader is satisfied with the spectrum mask defined in the standard. The receive block of the modem uses Gardner TED to synchronize timing of symbol. In this paper, we designed a modem supporting ISO/IEC18000-6REV1 standard and developed a RFID reader sndard. The developed RFID reader sndard can recognize sensor tag and passive tag in the wireless environment and supports real-time processing of the sensor data in the embedded linux platform.
In this paper, we newly introduce a wireless identification system using a solar cell and RF transceivers. The reader sends interrogating signal to a transponder using LED visible light, and the transponder responds to the reader using RF signal. The transponder consists of a solar cell, an amplifier, a microprocessor, and an RF transmitter. The solar cell receives the visible light from the reader and generates current to supply electric power to the other devices in the transponder. At the same time, the solar cell detects interrogating signal in the reader light. The microprocessor senses the interrogating signal and generates a responding signal. The RF transmitter radiates the responding signal to the reader. The transponder is a passive circuit because it operates without external power. In experiments, the maximum read distance between a reader and a transponder was about 1.6 meter.

In this research, a slotted patch antenna sensor is designed for wireless strain and crack sensing. An off-the-shelf RFID (radiofrequency identification) chip is adopted in the antenna sensor design for signal modulation. The operation power of the RFID chip is captured from wireless reader interrogation signal, so the sensor operation is completely battery-free (passive) and wireless. For strain and crack sensing of a structure, the antenna sensor is bonded on the structure surface like a regular strain gage. Since the antenna resonance frequency is directly related with antenna dimension, which deforms when strain occurs on the structural surface, the deformation/strain can be correlated with antenna resonance frequency shift measured by an RFID reader. The slotted patch antenna sensor performance is first evaluated through mechanics-electromagnetics coupled simulation. Extensive experiments are then conducted to validate the antenna sensor performance, including tensile and compressive strain sensing, wireless interrogation range, and fatigue crack sensing.
