벡터제어-구동 유도전동기의 파라미터 변동에 대한 비선형 제어특성의 해석 (Analysis of Nonlinear Control Characteristic for the Parameter Variation of Vector Control-Fed Induction Motors)

  • Vector control schemes are used in inverter-fed induction motor drives to obtain high performance. Crucial to the success of the vector control scheme is the knowledge of the instantaneous position of the rotor flux. However, the position of the rotor flux change with temperature and magnetic saturation of the motor. This variation cause deterioration of both steady state and dynamic operation of the motor drives. Performance degradation is in the form of input-output torque nonlinearity and saturation of the motor. Analytic expressions are derived to evaluate the effects due to parameter sensitivity. Also, dynamic response is shown by speed command with the variation of stator and rotor resistance.

Sensitivity analysis of the influencing factors of slope stability based on LS-SVM

  • This study proposes a sensitivity analysis method for slope stability based on the least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) to examine the influencing factors of slope stability. The method uses LS-SVM as an algorithm for machine learning. An appropriate training dataset is established according to the slope characteristics, and a testing dataset is designed orthogonally. Results of the testing data in the experiment design are calculated after training using the LS-SVM model. The sensitivity of the slope stability of each factor is examined via gray correlation analysis. The results are consistent with those of the traditional Bishop analysis and can be used as a reference for optimizing slope design.

  • 유도전동기의 고성능 벡터제어를 수행하기 위해서는 회전자 자속의 정확한 추정이 필요하다. 유도전동기의 회전자 자속관측기들에서는 자속추정시에 전동기 상수들이 사용되므로 이들의 변동에 따라 자속추정에 영향을 받는다. 본 논문에서는 파라미터 민감도를 이용하여 파라미터 변동에 의한 자속관측기들의 추정자속 오차를 해석하였다. 파라미터 민감도는 시스템 파라미터의 변동분에 대한 시스템 전달함수의 변동분의 비로 정의되므로 실제 자속과 추정 자속의 비를 전달함수로 정의하고 해석을 수행하였다. 제안된 해석방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 시뮬레이션과 실험을 행하였다.

PRINCIPAL COMPONENTS BASED SUPPORT VECTOR REGRESSION MODEL FOR ON-LINE INSTRUMENT CALIBRATION MONITORING IN NPPS

  • In nuclear power plants (NPPs), periodic sensor calibrations are required to assure that sensors are operating correctly. By checking the sensor's operating status at every fuel outage, faulty sensors may remain undetected for periods of up to 24 months. Moreover, typically, only a few faulty sensors are found to be calibrated. For the safe operation of NPP and the reduction of unnecessary calibration, on-line instrument calibration monitoring is needed. In this study, principal component-based auto-associative support vector regression (PCSVR) using response surface methodology (RSM) is proposed for the sensor signal validation of NPPs. This paper describes the design of a PCSVR-based sensor validation system for a power generation system. RSM is employed to determine the optimal values of SVR hyperparameters and is compared to the genetic algorithm (GA). The proposed PCSVR model is confirmed with the actual plant data of Kori Nuclear Power Plant Unit 3 and is compared with the Auto-Associative support vector regression (AASVR) and the auto-associative neural network (AANN) model. The auto-sensitivity of AASVR is improved by around six times by using a PCA, resulting in good detection of sensor drift. Compared to AANN, accuracy and cross-sensitivity are better while the auto-sensitivity is almost the same. Meanwhile, the proposed RSM for the optimization of the PCSVR algorithm performs even better in terms of accuracy, auto-sensitivity, and averaged maximum error, except in averaged RMS error, and this method is much more time efficient compared to the conventional GA method.

제한된 모드형상을 이용한 개선된 손상평가 알고리즘 (Improved Damage Assessment Algorithm Using Limited Mode Shapes)

  • 본 논문은 교량 구조물의 손상위치 및 손상정도를 평가하기 위해 제한된 모드형상을 사용한 손상지수 방법에 기초한 실용적이며 개선된 손상평가 알고리즘을 제안한다. 손상평가 알고리즘에서 손상전 ·후의 구조물로부터 획득한 모드 벡터의 민감도 비에 근거한 손상지수를 사용하여 손상위치의 파악 및 손상정도를 평가한다. 그러나 모드형상의 진폭이 거의 영의 값을 가지는 요소에 손상이 존재하면 모드벡터 민감도 비는 무한대의 값을 가지게 되며, 이는 손상평가를 불가능하게 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 구조물의 모드형상과 비례하는 민감도 필터를 도입한 개선된 기법을 적용함으로써, 이러한 문제점을 극복하였으며 또한 기존의 방법보다 손상위치와 손상정도 평가에 있어 상당한 정확도의 향상을 구현하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 검증하기 위해 단순보와 2경간 연속보에 대해 손상평가를 수행하였으며, 기존의 방법에 의한 결과와 비교하였다.

  • This paper presents a new vector control scheme for induction motor. An exact knowledge of the rotor flux position is essential for a high-performance vector control. The position of the rotor flux is measured in the direct scheme and estimated in the indirect schemes. Since the estimation of the flux position requires a priori knowledge of the induction motor parameters, the indirect schemes are machine parameter dependent. The rotor and stator resistance among the parameters change with temperature. Variations in the parameters of induction machine cause deterioration of both the steady state and dynamic operation of the induction motor drive. Several methods have presented to minimize the consequences of parameter sensitivity in indirect scheme. In this paper, new estimation scheme of rotor flux position is presented to eliminate sensitivity due to variation in the resistance. The simulation is executed to verify the proposed vector control performance and to compare its performance with that of indirect vector control.

  • In this paper, we presents a vector control method for the parallel-connected motor drive system. The new estimation scheme of rotor flux position is presented to reduce sensitivity due to load difference between the motors. To confirm the validity of the proposed control method. we compare a simulation result of the proposed control method with that of the conventional indirect vector control method. The simulation results show that the proposed control method is more effective for change in load torque and motor parameters.

  • A novel rotor speed estimation method using model reference adaptive control(MRAC) is proposed to improve the performance of a sensorless vector controller. In the proposed method, the stator current is used as the model variable for estimating the speed. In conventional MRAC methods, the relation between the two model errors and the speed estimation error is unclear. In the proposed method, the stator current error is represented as a function of the first degree for the error value in the speed estimation. Therefore, the proposed method can produce a fast speed estimation. The robustness of the rotor flux-based MRAC, back EMF-based MRAC, and proposed MRAC is compared based on a sensitivity function about each error of stator resistance, rotor time constant, mutual inductance. Consequently, the proposed method is much more robust than the conventional methods as regards errors in the mutual inductance, stator resistance. Therefore, the proposed method offers a considerable improvement in the performance of a sensorless vector controller at a low speed. In addition, the superiority of the proposed method and the validity of sensitivity functions were verified by simulation and experiment.

  • This paper describes newly developed high performance control system for vector controlled induction motor. In order to realize this system, the authors are adopted the current controlled PWM inverter with hysteresis controller. A priori knowledge of the motor parameters is need in order to implement indirect vector control on induction motor drive systems where the position of rotor flux is estimated. This paper presents some of the relevant mathematics necessary to study parameter sensitivity in induction motor servo system. Simulation results demonstrate the predicted performance.
