A Study on the Effective Teaching Method for the Environmental Education in Korean Primary School (국민학교 환경교육의 효율적 지도에 관한 연구)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the concern of the primary school teachers and the teaching situation about the environmental education through questionnaire survey on the effective environmental education. The results of questionnaire were analysed and discussed to provide the effective teaching method for the environmental education. The result of this study is as follows. 1. It was found that teachers want to teach environmental lessons as a special subject, and the content of the environmental lessons in textbook was not enough in quantity, the living waste was the most serious ploblem. Owing to the lacking in materials for the lectures on environmental education, most teachers collect the material depending on the mass communication. Also they were more interested in the environmental lessons rather than the other lessons in textbook. But because of the lacking in administrative assistance, they have difficulty in conducting the effective environmental education. 2. The teaching method of the environmental education in most primary schools was a all together-type lecture in classroom. Owing to conducting the environmental education for the knowledge than the action through the extra activity, it was difficult to expect the effect of the environmental education. Also the rate of using the reflection materials which can be improved the studying effect was very low. 3. For the effective environmental education most teachers wanted the spot learnings and the case studies and teacher education and training to get an special knowledge for environmental education. The effective evaluation method for children's environmental education is to present the results by environmental experiences and practices and to formulate a system education is organized for the effective management and activation of environmental education. 4. By practising the seasonal spot learnings, students need to change of learning method and to realize the importance of environment through own self-experiences. 5. In the future, it is desirable that researching of an environmental education is offered the effective practising teaching method which is improving the development of customs and functions, cultivation of the sense of value, ability to solve the problem, to determine the intention as well as the survey on the real situation and the consciousness about environmental education.

A Light Incident Angle Stimulated Memristor Based on Electrochemical Process on the Surface of Metal Oxide

  • Memristor devices are one of the most promising candidate approaches to next-generation memory technologies. Memristive switching phenomena usually rely on repeated electrical resistive switching between non-volatile resistance states in an active material under the application of an electrical stimulus, such as a voltage or current. Recent reports have explored the use of variety of external operating parameters, such as the modulation of an applied magnetic field, temperature, or illumination conditions to activate changes in the memristive switching behaviors. Among these possible choices of signal controlling factors of memristor, photon is particularly attractive because photonic signals are not only easier to reach directly over long distances than electrical signal, but they also efficiently manage the interactions between logic devices without any signal interference. Furthermore, due to the inherent wave characteristics of photons, the facile manipulation of the light ray enables incident light angle controlled memristive switching. So that, in the tautological sense, device orienting position with regard to a photon source determines the occurrence of memristive switching as well. To demonstrate this position controlled memory device functionality, we have fabricated a metal-semiconductor-metal memristive switching nanodevice using ZnO nanorods. Superhydrophobicity employed in this memristor gives rise to illumination direction selectivity as an extra controlling parameter which is important feature in emerging. When light irradiates from a point source in water to the surface treated device, refraction of light ray takes place at the water/air interface because of the optical density differences in two media (water/air). When incident light travels through a higher refractive index medium (water; n=1.33) to lower one (air; n=1), a total reflection occurs for incidence angles over the critical value. Thus, when we watch the submerged NW arrays at the view angles over the critical angle, a mirror-like surface is observed due to the presence of air pocket layer. From this processes, the reversible switching characteristics were verified by modulating the light incident angle between the resistor and memristor.

  • The importance of communication which is oriented to interaction, fusion and connection is more increased in the post-information society. The information environment is already realized as interface to reach immediately and freely to the databased information and knowledge. The contemporary libraries execute very important roles as an intellectual infra of modern times to deliver the great human achievement and create new culture. In the mean time, the rapid information-oriented society and the development of digital technology bring out big change in the traditional dispatch and receipt method of information. For this reason, libraries as the community space of visitors integrates physical space - electronic space and reconstructs new temporary culture and value to build the new interface that connects human to human, human to space and human to information. On the premise of these awareness, this study analysis the creative interface factor of Tama Art University New Libraries in Ito Toyo in order to research the function and the application method of modern libraries. And the results are follows. 1)We can make sure the significance of communication and the integration consciousness between digital technology and analogue sensitivity that is the characteristic of the post-information society. 2)We can classify for the creative interface factors by the character as space factor(Arcade, Gallery, Lounge, AV Booth, Cafe), facility/equipment factor(Laboratory, Media, Bar, Info Shelf, Media Seat) and furniture factor(Carrel, Desk, Mag Table, XI Shelf). 3)We can see that these interface factors change the stream of library users and that the library is constructed for library users to create and discovery something easily from books and modern technologies. And we can realize also that these factors are creative installation to lead out naturally the latent liberty sense of users.

A STUDY OF DETERMINATION OF PHYSIOLOGICAL ROOT APEX BY ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE VALUE (전기저항치에 의한 생리적 근첨(根尖)의 측정에 관한 연구)

  • One of the most important factors for successful endodontic therapy is an accurate length determination of physiological root apex. Some methods suggested for the measurement of root canal length, include digital-tactile sense and roentgenographic technique with measuring wire, scale and grid. But these methods do not derermine an accurate working length to physiological root apex. Recently electronic measuring devices are used to locate the physiological root apex in root canal length determination and these devices are accepted as an effective apparatus. The 89 patients (116 teeth, 144 canals) among the out-patients of Yonsei University Dental Infirmary, who had had an endodontic treatment in the Department of Operative Dentistry, were measured by the Root-Canal Meter$^{(R)}$ as an electronic device, and radiographs to determine the distribution and location of physiological root apex, then the following results were made: (1) Range of ${\pm}$1mm from the radiographic root apex were present in 88.88% (128 canals) of the subjects. (2) Physiological root apex and radiographic root apex were coincided in 31.94% (46 canals) of the subjects. (3) The actual length of the physiological root apex of the teeth were as follow; A : in the maxillary central incisor : 0.46mm B : in the maxillary lateral incisor : 0.44mm C : in the maxillary canine : 0.44mm D : in the maxillary 1st premolar : a) Buccal : 0.59mm b) Lingual : 0.34mm E : in the maxillary 2nd premolar : 0.54mm F : in the maxillary 1st molar : a) Mesio-buccal : 0.50mm b) Disto-buccal : 0.42mm c) Lingual : 0.56mm G : in the mandibular central incisor : 0.62mm H : in the mandibular lateral incisor : 0.45mm in the mandibular canine : 0.54mm J : in the mandibular 1st premolar : 0.47mm K : in the mandibular 2nd premolar : 0.34mm L : in the mandibular 1st molar : a) Mesio-buccal : 0.54mm b) Mesio-lingual : 0.31mm c) Distal : 0.37mm.

  • u-IT Convergence appliances study and are developed in communication by development of u-IT technology, broadcasting, portal, contents, equipment and all fields of business such as solution. This treatise presents valuation basis of, economic performance, administration sex etc. by temperature, pressure, own, storehouse, gas, justice for humidity sensors and valuation basis that define u-IT Convergence, and sense information u-IT Convergence devices and terminal. Also, studied standardization standard of u-IT Convergence network appliance that follow in valuation basis for u-IT Convergence devices. Is going to contribute establish value as estimation product that equip stability and authoritativeness through correct certification assessment for technological development and appliances on Ubiquitous information-oriented society through this research and accomplish standardization.

Consciousness of Biomedical Ethics and Professionalism among General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 생명의료윤리의식과 전문직업성)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate nurses' consciousness of biomedical ethics and professionalism in general hospitals. Participants in this study were 163 nurses working in 3 general hospitals. Data analysis was done using SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. As a result of this study, the consciousness of biomedical ethics of the nurse was moderate. The highest sub-area was 'right to life of fetus' and 'artificial abortion' was the lowest sub-area. The professionalism of the subjects was moderate. The highest sub-area was 'reference professional group' and 'sense of mission' was the lowest sub-area. The nurses' consciousness of biomedical ethics was related to professionalism. Therefore, nurses should be educated to help ethical decision making so that they can have bioethical value and bioethical decision making ability according to the changes and demands of the times. In addition, institutional arrangements to improve professionalism should be provided.

The Effects of Family Life Stress and Family Values on Marital Stability among Middle-Aged Couples (중년기 기혼남녀의 가족생활 스트레스, 가족가치관이 결혼안정성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of family life stress and family values on marital stability among middle-aged couples. The subjects included a total of 302 men and women aged 45-64 who had been married for more than 20 years and were living in Seoul. The collected data were statistically analyzed with the SPSS 21.0 Package. First, Cronbach's alpha was calculated to measure the reliability of the scale that assessed the variables of the research model. Then, mean and standard deviation were calculated to determine the degrees of family life stress, family values, and marital stability among the subjects. Finally, a hierarchical multiple regression analysis was performed to identify factors that affected the subjects' marital stability. The results revealed that the level of family life stress in middle-aged married men and women was slightly higher than the mean value. Of all the sub-scales of family life stress, the subjects were found to experience the most stress from factors related to financial pressure, followed by family relationships, a sense of loss within a family, and work-family compatibility. Therefore, financial problems were one of the critical stressors for middle-aged married couples. Also, for this demographic, the levels of family values and marital stability were higher than the medians. The factors affecting marital stability in middle-aged couples were identified to be family relationship stress, financial stress, subjective economic status, family values, stress related to work-familycompatibility,religion,andage.Thedegreeofmaritalstabilitywashigherinmiddle-agedcouplesa stheirstresslevelsfromfamilyrelationshipsandfinancialproblemswerelower.Moreover,thehigherthes ubjectiveeconomicstatusandthemoretraditionalthefamilyvalues,thehigherthedegreeofmaritalstabili ty.Finally,marriedcoupleswhowerereligioushadalowerlevelofstressfromwork-family compatibility, and the younger the couples, the higher the degree of marital stability.

The tradition and musical aspect of the Saeteo-gaeulgut-nori(Play) (새터가을굿놀이의 전승과 음악적 양상)

  • Saeteo-gaeulgut-nori(Play) is derived from the fact that the folk song that was played when harvesting in the Shinhori (aka Satter) in Chongdong, Miryang City was associated with the play and played a sacrificial feast at the end of autumn threshing. Saeteo-gaeulgut-nori(Play) consists largely of three chambers. The first one is the entrance gut, 2) the second one is SeonghwangGosa(城隍告祀), 3) the sound of bench threshing(空床 打作), 4) the harvesting chapter 5) the dry grass threshin, 6) the wooden millstone play, and the third one is 7) Pan-gut. Milyang has developed a sense of agriculture to the extent that both the Sangwon play and the Jungwon play are designated as intangible cultural properties. Especially, since the tradition of the House of Representatives is weak nationwide, the status of Milyang Saeteo-gaeulgut-nori(Play) has a very important value. The overall sound of the autumn good play is that the characteristics of Gyeongsang Folk Song are rooted in the structure of the menaritri, It has the characteristics of folk songs well.

Development of Knee Radiography Auxiliary Device (무릎 방사선 검사 보조장비의 개발)

  • Most knee axial radiographs, known as sunrise and skyline view, were performed with the patient in the prone position. The authors tried to address some of the shortcomings of conventional radiography by developing a new radiography method, K-RAD. According to previous research, the K-RAD method showed a wider patellar-femoral joint space than conventional radiography and provided a clear patellar hemi-lateral image with a constant gap between the femoral trochlear groove and tibial tuberosity. The authors worked with an orthopedic specialist to perform radiography using the K-RAD method rather than using existing methods, and as a result, the two knees were aligned correctly and a clear image of the patellar-femoral joint space was created. The authors propose the K-RAD method for knee axial radiography because the K-RAD method provides a sense of stability to the patient and provides images with high diagnostic value.

The Influence of the Victorian Pattern on the Modern Textile Product Designs (빅토리안 문양(文樣)이 현대(現代) 텍스타일 제품(製品) 디자인에 미친 영향(影響))

  • This study aims to understand the history of the Victorian age that attached importance to various designs and aesthetic aspects by art and craft movement, and to present that the Victorian pattern is a factor with unlimited possibility in application and development of the modern textile product designs. Therefore, through documents research home and abroad, I considered the periodical background of the Victorian style, a change course of textile, and the theoretical backing of the Victorian pattern, and I studied and analyzed the cases of being applied in the modern textile product designs by classifying apparel, home interior, and fashion accessories. First of all, in apparel, the Victorian pattern transformed into geometrical form had much relative importance, and secondly, in the home interior, the Victorian pattern was expressed realistically or it was represented more boldly and complexly with new materials or techniques introduced. Thirdly, in fashion accessories, decorative nature was shown in intense design with the real description of the Victorian flower pattern and brilliant colors. With these results, it was found out that when the Victorian pattern was applied in the modern textile product designs, it was the factor that could be expected to make a high value added suitable with the modern sense, and it was the pattern with developmental potential with its unlimited use range. Therefore, based on this study, it is considered that the development of textile product designs utilizing the Victorian pattern and academic research, reorganizing the Victorian pattern in accordance with the modern design should be continued.
