Objective: This study attempted to find out if it changes the child's ability to perform daily life activities when visiting the familiar environment and daily living space of children with cerebral palsy and conducting a home activity support program for children and parents. Design: Randomized Controlled Trial Methods: Among 22 children aged 3 to 12 years old, they were assigned to the intervention group and control group. Of these, 12 boys and 10 girls participated in the study. Gross motor function measure and upper extremity function evaluation were used to measure the physical function of children with cerebral palsy, and self-care skills, mobility and social functions were evaluated in the pediatric evaluation of disability inventory. In addition, a parenting sense of competence was used to find out the efficacy of parents in raising children. After the pre-evaluation, basic rehabilitation treatment and intervention programs were applied to the intervention group, and only basic rehabilitation treatment was performed to the control group, and post-evaluation was performed 8 weeks later. Results: As a result of the study, among the items that measured the gross motor function, upper limb function, and daily life performance ability of the intervention group in the difference between the intervention group and the control group, statistically improved in personal processing and movement (p<0.05). In addition, the parenting sense of competence children in the intervention group was statistically significant (p<0.05). Conclusions: The home activity support program will help strengthen the ability of cerebral palsy children to perform daily life as a way to set mutually agreed goals with their families or children and achieve them in a familiar environment.

Recently, contests for college students have emerged as an important factor in employment through self-development, and parents' psychological control on college students can prevent the development of autonomy by suppressing decisions and expressions without helping their children become independent. Therefore, this study aims to find out how the parental psychological control perceived by college students affects the motivation to participate in the contest through self-determination. As a result of the study, first, it was found that the psychological control of separation anxiety of parental psychological control negatively affects only the competence among self-determination. Second, it was found that achievement-oriented parental psychological control had a negative effect on all factors of self-determination. Third, it was found that among self-determination factors, competence had a positive effect on pleasure, financial reward, and recognition of others, and a negative effect on a sense of accomplishment. Fourth, it was found that the relationship among self-determination factors had a positive effect on pleasure, financial compensation, and recognition of others. The results of this will be used as basic data to understand the motivation of college students to participate in the contest and the psychological control of their parents.
The purpose of this study was to identify emotional responses, of stroke patients using Q analysis. From the data analysis, five types of emotional responses in stroke patients were classified as follows. 1. Acceptance and Overcoming : They attached to life strongly and had self-confidence of recovery. They were striving against their situation through using anything else good for their recovery. 2. Anger Type : They recognized a labile feeling and were angered easily. They had a self-confident and self-esteemed personality before they had a stroke. 3. Conflict Type : They wanted interaction with others. This individual recognized that no one knows their agonies. They were thankful to god or their family, while they could not control their minds. Their family supports were low. 4. Deficiency of self-esteem Type : They had a self-confidence of recovery, but they were in fear of interaction with others. Especially, they were ashamed of themselves. They have a high sense of responsibility and nigh self-esteem for themselves before they had a stroke. 5. Despair Type. : They were sorry to trouble their family. They felt depression, anxiety, darkness, uselessness of themselves, and they wanted to die. They recognized financial burden. for their family. The characteristics of the five types of stroke patient identified in this study will be used to assess emotional nursing needs for stroke patients. The findings of this study will provide practical guidelines for developing nursing interventions for stroke patients based on the characteristics of subjectivity types.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the effects of computer/internet game play on depression and life satisfaction via perceived self-control among older adults in Korea. Data were collected from a survey of 237 community-dwelling older adults (age${\geq}$65) who reported internet users. A path analysis was used to examine the causal relationship among the main constructs. Results showed that the computer/internet game play had positive effects on perceived self-control. Perceived self-control was found to decrease depression and improve life satisfaction among older adults. Additional analysis indicated that the computer/internet game play in older adults did not directly affect mental health (depression and life satisfaction) but indirectly affected it via perceived self-control. Furthermore, perceived self-control had greater effects on depression than on life satisfaction. These findings have crucial implications in that perceived sense of self-control needs to be seriously considered when we develop mental health games for older adults.

Purpose: This study was aimed to develop a simulation training program of an advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) based on the mastery learning model (Simulation-MLM), and evaluate the effects of the program on critical care nurses. Methods: As an experimental pre-post test with a non-equivalent control group, the study employed convenience sampling of 38 critical care nurses. The experimental group received the Simulation-MLM including a theoretical lecture, formative evaluation, and simulation training, whereas only a theoretical lecture for the control group. The knowledge, self-efficacy, and performance degrees of respondents were measured to verify the effects of the Simulation-MLM. The statistical processing of the collected data utilized the SPSS WIN 17.0 program. Results: After receiving Simulation-MLM, the participants in the experimental group reported higher marks in the knowledge, self-efficacy and performance of ACLS compared with those in the control group. However, both experimental and control groups demonstrated no significant differences in knowledge, self-efficacy and performance. Conclusion: Despite of the limitation of a small sample size, this study was considered meaningful in a sense that it showed a venue for improving ACLS training efficiency. Future research with more distinct treatment differentiation and better adequate outcome variables was warranted in order to prove the effects of a theory-based simulation education.
Since there are growing concerns regarding personal information, users have perceived the importance of it. It makes users try to manage and control personal information by their own intentions. Therefore, we assume users now have begun to perceive psychological ownership on personal information. A main objective of this study is to identitythe relationship between accountability, self-identity, self-efficacy and sense of belongingness and psychological ownership on personal information. We conduct an online-basedsurvey and establish a structural equation model for testing hypothesis. The results show that users' accountability, self-identity and sense of belongingness positively influence to psychological ownership on personal information. Additionally, users' perceived psychological ownership on personal information increase their concern for information privacy. This study suggests a new concept as 'perceived psychological ownership on personal information' to explain for intentions of their psychological possessions toward personal information. The findings of this study can provide a way for how firms have to require clients' personal information with increasing their satisfactions.

Objectives: This study was performed to determine the levels of depression symptoms among the community elderlies and to reveal its related factors, specifically aimed at revealing psycho-social factors such as social support net-work, sense of self-esteem, state anxiety, interpersonal behavior trait and locus of control.
Methods: The interviews were performed during the period from April 1st to June 30th, 2007 to the 790 elderlies in urban and rural areas.
Results: The mean scores of depression (CES-D) among all subjects were 16.65±10.97(urban: 18.81±10.31, rural: 14.49±11.20) and they were higher in urban than rural. The level of depression symptoms was influenced by the variables of educational level, with or without spouse, bear for living expenses, sense of satisfaction in daily life. As for health related behaviors, they were influenced by the variables of with or
without regular exercise. As for health status, they were influenced by the subjective health status, with or without disability of body, visual acuity, hearing ability, ability of food mastication, urinary incontinence, with or without help in activity of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activity of daily living (IADL). As for social support net-work and social activities, they were influenced by number of offspring, frequency of offspring contents, frequency of going out and activity of hobbies. As for psycho-social factors, they were influenced by sense of self-esteem, state anxiety and social support, especially, the level of depression symptoms was higher influenced by the variables of psycho-social factors than other variables. Conclusions: Lower of the level of depression symptoms among the community elderlies would require development and application of programs to keep under management psycho-social factors as well as looking for ways to promoting the present health status.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of traditional fairy tales verbal expression education on 3-year-old children's social skills. The subjects of this study were 50 3-year-old children at four different private daycare centers in the Kyungnam province. 25 preschoolers were selected as an experimental group, and the others were selected as a control group. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS by t- test, MANOVA and ANOVA. The findings of the study were as follows: First, differences between the experimental group and the control group in social skills were significant. There were differences between the experimental group and the control group in problem solving and self-confidence. There was no difference in emotional expression and sense of order. Second, the Cohen's effect size shows that traditional fairy tales verbal expression education effects children's problem solving and self-confidence.

This paper proposes an online adaptive fuzzy controller for a wind energy conversion system (WECS) that is intrinsically highly nonlinear plant. In real application, to obtain exact system parameters such as power coefficient, many measuring instruments and off-line implementations are required, which is very difficult to perform. This shortcoming can be avoided by introducing fuzzy system in the controller design in this paper. The proposed adaptive fuzzy control scheme using self-structuring algorithm requires no system parameters to meet control objectives. Even the structure of the fuzzy system is automatically grows on-line, which distinguishes our proposed algorithm over the previously proposed fuzzy control schemes. Combining derivative estimator for wind velocity, the whole closed-loop system is shown to be stable in the sense of Lyapunov.

The purpose of this study was to approve the possibility of clinical application of selftesting technique to confirm the cleanness status of the tooth surface after mechanical toothbrushing. Thirty-two periodontal patients who did not compromise any other systemic diseases were divided into two groups. Control group was instructed only the Bass method for toothbrushing, and then experimental group was demonstrated the Bass method and self-testing technique respectively for plaque control during this experiment. Selftesting technique is composed the comparison of roughness of the labial surface of maxillary central incisor and other toothsurface with touch sense using the tip of tongue. Plaque score and Gingival index were measured as clinical parameters at baseline and 1, 2 and 4 weeks after scaling and root planing. The results were as follows ; 1. Plaque scores and gingival index of 1, 2, and 4 weeks of two groups were statistically significant differences when compared with baseline value (p<0.05). 2. Plaque scores and gingival index of baseline and 1 week between two groups were not significant differences (p<0.05). 3. Plaque scores and gingival index of 2 and 4 weeks of test group were statistically significant difference when compared with control group (p<0.05). From the above results, self-testing technique which decides necessity of additional toothbrushing when tongue tip of subjects touch the maxillary molar buccal surfaces and mandibular molar lingual surfaces nd compares with maxillary anterior labial surfaces after toothbrushing appeared to effect the motivation of subjects. This study suggests that self-testing technique for cleanness after toothbrushing should be effect on the maintenance of oral hygiene when it is applied to clinical practice.
