The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in recognition for foundation before and after foundation education for preliminary senior founder' demographic characteristics, and to verify the effects of the characteristics on the foundation interest and foundation confidence. For this, questionnaire survey was carried out for 103 preliminary senior founders who participated in the foundation education program implemented by government. The statistical significance was verified with SPSS 18.0 program. On the basis of empirical study results, the main results were withdrawn as follows. First, there was a significant difference in foundation interest between before and after foundation education. Second, there was no significant difference in foundation interest with foundation motivation at before and after foundation education. Third, there was no significant difference in foundation confidence between before and after foundation education. Fourth, there was no significant difference in foundation confidence with foundation motivation at before and after foundation education. In conclusion, this study recommends an alternative for education curriculum development and operation for improving the actual performance of the curriculums targeting the senior generation through reliable research.

우리나라의 노인자살률은 OECD 국가 중에 1위이다. 인위적 고독사인 '자살'의 가장 큰 원인인 우울증을 의사소통을 통해 예방하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 상황에 따라 독거노인에게 스피커가 먼저 질문하는 형식인 시스템을 제안한다. 음성인식 시스템인 스피커를 활용하여 독거노인의 의사소통을 증대시키고, 질문뿐만이 아니라 식사 여부, 약 복용 여부 관련 일상 알람도 주기 때문에 규칙적인 생활을 하는 데 도움을 준다.

The goal to establish one multipurpose senior center in one district of Seoul city has been nearly completed. However, since it is behind the schedule by about 6 years, nearly all senior centers are saturated currently. Therefore, additional foundation plan of senior centers is in progress. Also, the main function of the center has changed from health and leisure to various welfare programs that the elderly living in a community need. In order to supplement these problems, many existing senior centers are using center to the most through addition and change of rooms. To establish the direction of spatial plan at establishing senior centers according to the regional characteristics, 20 cases of Seoul multipurpose senior centers in operation were site surveyed and the results of spatial features by types established and changed corresponding to each condition were suggested as follows: 1. The types were classified according to the shape of floor plan, sectional planning, entry traffic line, linkage with attached facilities and addition method etc. by the characteristics of the elderly in multipurpose senior centers, program operation, linkage of spatial composition by the function, positional relation between centers, management and operation method, and center complication method etc. and the respective features were suggested. 2. By analyzing the gross floor area and the area of each room of senior centers, the features of area by types and the features of area by each detailed center were suggested.

Due to recent changes in increased life expectancy, economic power and social development, the new senior generation (focusing on people in their fifties) represents a new market power with strong competitiveness. The new senior generation is the generation after the baby boomers, with characteristics that include a high-level of education, increased income, a high-level of consumption, increased assets, self-fulfillment desires and individuality. Demands in the senior fashion industry are expected to gradually increase and the underwear industry that targets the new senior generation is expected to grow rapidly. These demands will require product development for the new senior generation based on emotional and socio-cultural characteristics. The current new senior underwear market is under the process of R&D with a focus on body shape changes; however, there are limited studies on emotional and socio-cultural approaches. This study formulates a basic design plan for different age groups based on an analysis of the situation of bra wear (current inconveniences, demand and needs) by women in their fifties and over. Subsequently, a functional active bra top that considers activity and comfort was proposed for women in their fifties, an all-in-one foundation bra top that shapes the body was proposed for women in their sixties, and comfort bra tops that are comfortable and easy to put on and take off were proposed for women in their seventies and over.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the preferences for the physical features of senior congregate housing. The survey was conducted to target the elderly households living in senior congregate housing and general elderly households living in the rural. The results of this study were as follows. Showed that housing conditions are more important than environmental conditions, elderly households living in senior congregate housing. Among them was the most important house prices and rents. Also among the external factors such as environmental conditions is the distance to the workplace were very important. So the elderly households living in congregate housing showed that more important considering the economic aspects. Finally, want to be the foundation of sustainable housing policies for rural elderly households.

With the recent spread of smartphones and the introduction of web services, online users can access large-scale content regardless of time or place. However, users have had trouble finding the content they wanted among large-scale content. To solve this problem, user modeling and content recommendation system have been actively studied in various fields. However, in spite of active changes in senior groups according to the changes in information environment, research on user modeling and content recommendation system focused on senior groups are insufficient. In this paper, we propose a method of modeling smart senior based on their preference, and further develop a smart senior classification model using machine learning methods. As a result, we can not only grasp the preferences of smart seniors, but also develop a smart senior classification model, which is the foundation for the research of a recommendation system which will provide the activities and contents most suitable for senior groups.

This study was conducted to prepare curry potato pancakes (CPP), curry fish balls (CFB) and steamed eggs (SE) using Pacific saury Cololabis saira as senior-friendly seafood and to determine the physical property stages and quality characteristics of the prepared food. Escherichia coli concentrations were undetected in all the products, which is considered an acceptable limit for senior-friendly foods. On applying the physical properties standards according to the Korean Industrial Standard, saury CPP, saury CFB, and saury SE were classified as the 1^st, 2^nd, and the 3^rd stages as senior-friendly seafood, respectively. Regarding the nutritional properties per 100 g of the three types of senior-friendly seafood using saury according to the Korean food code, CPP had three types of nutrients (protein, riboflavin, and niacin), whereas CFB and SE had four (protein, riboflavin, niacin and calcium) and six (protein, vitamin D, vitamin C, riboflavin, niacin, and calcium) types of nutrients, respectively.

The study is aimed to recognize the meaning of foundation study through understanding history and flow of foundation study in Korea. The analysis period is from 1998 when there was first boom of venture foundation in Korea after IMF to 2013 September when the latest thesis was made, and the analysis intends total 382 dissertations the online. The analysis was conducted in the fields of foundation study, foundation support, foundation steps, founding company forms, founder's demographic features, and from the analysis, the following conclusion could be drawn out. First, the field actively carrying out foundation studies is the business management & economics field, but the foundation is dealt as an object of study across the all industries. It could be identified that of the all industries, especially IT industry, food service industry, and contents industry are the fields showing much interest about the foundation. Second, the field attracting most keen attention among the fields of foundation support was the field related with the founders. Third, the main problem relevant to foundation study was that the foundation was judged in comprehensive viewpoint, not being judged with strategies, in detail. Fourth, investing from the company's form aspect, it was found that during the starting period, the main foundation trend was the venture firm foundation, but recently the foundation-relevant attention is focused on the small business foundation and the most dominant founder type is the youth including college students, and the women's foundation is paid continual attention and senior foundation is being actively discussed. According to these analyzed results, future foundation studies should actively promote the general foundation studies, the specified foundation studies reflecting each industry's specialities, the fusion studies.

Students' mathematics application ability is a hot spot which mathematics education pays attention. So, I have carried on the test of mathematics application and the questionnaire survey to student of Senior One of the two middle schools. Through the test and the investigation, I discover that the level of the students' mathematics application ability is not high. To the simple application question, the difference of the male and the female is not big, but to the difficult application question, the male and the female has the remarkable difference. The students' lack of flexible and the original cognition monitoring ability in mathematics application process are afraid of studying mathematics application since childhood and lack of the training of this aspect. They thought mathematics foundation and reading understood ability is the key of mathematics application. Through analysis result of investigation, this paper proposed the way to raise mathematics application ability of students.

Limit state design(LSD) principles employing load and resistance factor design(LRFD) are coming into use in geotechnical engineering community around the world. Current working (allowable) stress design principles are expected to be replaced by LRFH method in the near future. North America has recently adopted LRFD principles, and European community has also developed its own code called "Eurocode" based on partial safety factor design which is essentially the same as LRFD. Relevant review and analysis of new global design codes are prerequisites to adopting these codes in the Korean construction industry and in the Korean foundation design prac titre. This paper reviews geotechnical aspects of LRFD and Eurocode, and analyzes the geomaterial resistance factors in LRFD for the design of axially-loaded driven piles.
