갈조류 급속열분해 공정의 모사와 설계 (Process Design and Simulation of Fast Pyrolysis of Brown Seaweed)

  • 바이오 연료 생산을 위한 3세대 바이오매스, 즉 미세조류 및 거대조류의 급속 열분해는 최근 1 세대 및 2 세대 바이오매스와 비교하여 실험적으로 연구된 바 있다. 하지만 거대조류의 경우 스케일업을 위한 공정모사 및 공정설계 연구는 거의 전무한 실정이다. 이 연구에서는 갈조류 급속 열분해의 벤치 스케일 실험 데이터에 근거하여 갈조류로부터 최종적으로 디젤을 생산하는 산업 규모의 공정을 상용 공정모사기를 이용하여 설계하고 모사하였다. 이때 육상 바이오매스 대비 갈조류의 조성 차이를 수용하기 위해 공정 설계에 특별한 주의를 기울였다. 연간 380,000톤의 건조 갈조류 원료를 바이오 디젤로 전환하는 전체 공정을 경제적으로 평가하고 최소 (디젤) 판매 가격 또한 산정하였다.

패션머천다이징 프로세스에서의 고객정보 활용 및 고객관리에 관한 사례 연구 (Case Study of Appling Customer Information and Customer Management in Fashion Merchandising Process)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze fashion merchandising process, to apply customer information in merchandising process and to examine customer management strategies of fashion industry in on-line and off-line channel. In depth, face to face interviews with structured questionnaires were conducted with MD and customer managers from selected 4 brands, one from each categories of men's, women's, casual and sports wear. Key findings of the study were as follows: First, they followed fashion merchandising process of 18 steps and collected trend information and sales data were applied to planning, selling/promoting process to plan season concept, design, and promotion activity. Second, commonly applied customer information types in fashion merchandising process were all from indirect information collected from sales data and forecasting companies. However, casual and sports wear conducted consumer monitoring activity f3r collecting customer data directly from customer participation. Third, in off-line channel, customers are segmented by amount of purchase they make in a specific time period and all the categories show high interest in valuable customers. However, only men's and woman's wear conducted promotion activities for valuable customers as a differentiated marketing strategy. In on-line channel, companies were interacting with the customers through internet web site to determine their demands. In conclusion, this study has significance in that it propose the necessity and strategy of differentiated customer management approaching by analyzing and comparing fashion merchandising activity process cases.

SCM 환경에서 기업 간 수주처리시스템에 대한 연구 (A Study on the B-to-B Order Processing System in Supply Chain Management Environment)

  • This paper considers a web-based order processing system under SCM environment. Following the framework of B2B electronic commerce, we focus on activities closely related to order handling within the supply chain. We also try to integrate the order processing system with the overall information system of the company. The methodology is applied to the case of H company and a prototype system is designed. This study analyzes the current product estimate and order handling process in the point of view of both the purchasing and the selling companies. It intends improvement by changing the existing closed way of request and offering estimate through fax or VAN into an open way using internet. For this, a company should be registered on the order site of internet. Then it can request estimate, take estimate, and handle order through internet adopting the concept of electrical commercial transaction.

  • Ministry of Construction and Transportation approved amendments to the Seongnam City that permits the redevelopment of Seongnam City in December 2001, The city will begin the first of three phases in the redevelopment which will be spread over more than ten years. This study aims at inquiring into the design process of the 'Seongnam Redevelopment Exhibition Center' project by focusing on the role of the architectural and exhibitional designer. In terms of architectural approach, 'Seongnam Redevelopment Exhibition Center' will play a role environmentally as a street object, and functionally as an exhibitory, selling, public, educational and cultural space for Seongnam citizens. The plan of exhibition space, cultural space, rest area and office space is not independent or contradictory but organical in a three-floor composition.

초음파 가스 유량계 개발 연구 (Study on the Development of Ultrasonic Gas Flowmeter)

  • Ultrasonic flowmeters have more advantages than the conventional method using pressure-difference. In these reasons, many advanced nations are already selling the commercial model. In RIST, we have been developed ultrasonic gas flow meter for the localization since a project was been contracted with POSCO in 1997. This paper describes a new ultrasonic gas flowmeter. This ultrasonic gas flowmeter is developed for accurate measurement of gases in a harsh environmental conditions. It is especially suited for measuring LDG. COG, BFG gases produced in iron & steel making process. In this study, we had developed the commercial model about the first tested model and applied a completed system to the POSCO gas line. Its performance has been proven by extensive field tests for several months in POSCO, iron & steel making company.

  • In this practical case study I studied the launching process of Samgak gimbab(the triangle type of rice), which is one if the best selling products to the young generation convenience store these days. And also explained how to down the cost of samgak gimbab to the level of customer's satisfaction. This case is related to 'S' company's strategy. I studied also the generalization of marketing policy especially product development in th convenience store.

패션기업의 패션정보 활용 (Fashion Firm's Utilization of Fashion Information)

  • In today's fashion industry, directions for new products and high value added of fashion goods, product changes according to cycles, the shortening of life cycles, added value, planned obsolescence, and presentation is focused on fashion trends that will be selected by many consumers at the point of selling time. Therefore fashion information poses great importance and its weight is growing bigger everyday. Fashion information recognized to be important is reflected practically in the prediction of fashion changes in the fashion industry; especially, it is the first stage of the merchandising process that is the course of new product development. Presently, with some differences according to the size and specialized area of a firm, domestic fashion menufacturers obtain information from sales data of competing brands and their own, market information, consumer information based on primary data, shared fashion trend information given by domestic fashion information providing companies. Firms can not produce differentiated images and product concepts using such shared information. Although the types, importance and reflection of used information vary according to merchandising processes, all experts engaging in the merchandising of fashion products use the same shared information.

  • Due to the explosion of e-commerce, recommender systems are rapidly becoming a core tool to accelerate cross-selling and strengthen customer loyalty. There are two prevalent approaches for building recommender systems - content-based recommending and collaborative filtering. Collaborative filtering recommender systems have been very successful in both information filtering domains and e-commerce domains, and many researchers have presented variations of collaborative filtering to increase its performance. However, the current research on recommendation has paid little attention to the use of time related data in the recommendation process. Up to now there has not been any study on collaborative filtering to reflect changes in user interest. This paper proposes dynamic fuzzy clustering algorithm and apply it to collaborative filtering algorithm for dynamic recommendations. The proposed methodology detects changes in customer behavior using the customer data at different periods of time and improves the performance of recommendations using information on changes. The results of the evaluation experiment show the proposed model's improvement in making recommendations.

4년제 대학의 패션관련학과 교과과정 비교분석: 한국, 미국, 영국, 일본, 홍콩를 중심으로 (Analysis of fashion Curriculum in 4-year Colleges : Cross-national Comparison of Korea, USA, UK, Japan, & Hong Kong)

  • This study analyzed the curricula of fashion related majors at 4-year colleges in the USA, UK, Japan and Hong Kong as well as in Korea and compared the characteristics of the Korean curriculum with those of the four countries. A total of 124 curricula from 103 colleges were collected. Courses were divided into eight categories (including industry and market information; materials; merchandise planning; design; production; distribution and selling; basics; and consumption) representing the production and distribution process of fashion business. There were differences in course offerings among the five countries. Overall, curricula in Korea emphasized design and production (construction) areas and showed not much differentiation among colleges. While industry and market information, merchandise planning, and production (management) areas were emphasized in the USA , differentiation/specialization by major was observed . UK and Hong Kong had well-specialized curricula by major Japan seemed to offer traditional and consumption oriented courses. Based on the findings, some propositions for the Korean fashion curriculum were discussed.
