  • This study is performed to examine the relationships between trust and antecedents in cyberspace. Trust is the major control system in cyberspace. Different time, different spaces, different cultures, indistinct boundaries, flexible structure, separation of information from matters, cybernetics, difficulty of control are differential characteristics between cyberspace and physical space. Providing fit information, use of effective electronic channels, previous trust management, feedback system about output, flexible culture, self-regulation, off-line meeting, providing information about tasks and roles, ability, and justice are supposed to have effects on trust in cyberspace. By electronic mediated systems, the company will have more business opportunity. But trust will be conditional factors of expanding business in cyberspace.

  • As the electronic commerce has grown dramatically, visiting the Internet shopping malls is accepted as one of our daily life. Despite many studies about user acceptance of the Internet shopping malls, it still remains unanswered how the Internet shopping mall's three quality factors such as system qualify, Information qualify, and service quality affect user trust, and eventually user acceptance of the mall. To investigate this issue, we propose a research model in which six external factors such as three qualify factors as well as self-efficacy, subjective norm, and trust have a significant impact on user's attitude and intention to use the mall. After garnering 244 valid questionnaires from users, we analyze them with structural equation modeling. Experiment results show that the Internet shopping mall's three quality factors such as system quality, information qualify, and service quality significantly Influence user trust for the mall, which in turn impacts user's perceived usefulness, attitude toward using the mall. Another external factors such as self-efficacy and subjective norm also influence user's perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness respectively, affecting user's attitude altogether. Implications and further research directions are presented.

  • The lack of customer satisfaction and trust remains a key barrier to electronic commerce. From the standpoint of online merchants, it is critical to build consumer trust by lessening sources of apprehensions and uneasiness associated with online transactions. This paper explores the relationships between customer satisfaction and intermediary's trustworthiness factors in B2C e-marketplaces. It also aims at examining the effects of consumer characteristics, including propensity to trust and Internet shopping self-efficacy, upon trust and purchase intentions. To meet the research objectives, an empirical study has been conducted by surveying 223 active e-marketplace buyers in Korea. The findings of the present research indicate that customer satisfaction positively affects all the three attributes of trustworthiness (i.e., competence, benevolence, and integrity), and more specifically it has a quite strong association with benevolence. In addition, propensity to trust has no significant influence on trust or purchasing intentions, and only affects benevolence and integrity with no direct effect on competence. Finally, Internet shopping self-efficacy was found to affect both trust and purchasing intentions, suggesting that e-marketplaces seek an online strategy designed to strengthen loyalty for customers with high self-efficacy, while they use a strategy to improve the usability and usefulness of their website to attract customers with low self-efficacy. The paper concludes with implications and directions for future research.

  • This study examines factors influencing family life-satisfaction, focusing specifically on the role of spousal social support, trust of children and self-efficacy. Based on previous studies, two hypotheses were generated. A total of 857 adults (111 fathers and 111 mothers parents of elementary school students and 108 mothers and 108 fathers of high school students) completed a questionnaire consisting of self-efficacy scales (Bandura, 1995) and social support and life-satisfaction scales developed by the present researchers. LISREL analyses fully supported Hypothesis 1 and partially supported Hypothesis 2. First, spousal social support had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. Second, self-efficacy had a mediating effect between spousal social support and family life-satisfaction. Those respondents who received higher social support from spouse had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Third, trust of children did not have a direct effect on family life-satisfaction. Fourth, trust of children had a direct and positive effect on self-efficacy, which in turn had a direct and positive effect on family life-satisfaction. The results indicated that those respondents who had higher trust of children, had higher self-efficacy, who in turn had higher family life-satisfaction. Self-efficacy plays an important mediating role in increasing Korean adults' family life-satisfaction. This study reveal the importance of indigenous psychology in unraveling the factors influencing family life-satisfaction among Korean adults.

  • By viewing donors for social welfare organization as both givers and beneficiaries, this study aims to address the correlations between the continuity of donors' contributions and enhanced sense of satisfaction as a consequence of participating in donation activities. The predominant concern of this study centers on: (1) the direct effects of individuals' emotional utility, demonstrable utility, trust toward donee organization, self acceptance on the continuation of their donation; (2) the direct effects of individuals' emotional utility, demonstrable utility, trust toward donee organizations on individuals' self-acceptance; (3) the direct effects of individuals' emotional utility, demonstrable utility on their trust toward a donee organization; (4) the indirect effects of individuals' self acceptance on two paths i.e. emotional utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$self acceptance, and demonstrable utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$self acceptance; (5) the indirect effects of individuals' individuals' trust toward donee organization on self acceptance on four paths i.e. emotional utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$continuity of donation; demonstrable utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$continuity of donation; emotional utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$self-acceptance, and demonstrable utility${\rightarrow}$trust${\rightarrow}$self-acceptance; (6) the moderating effects of 'financial status' on the causal relationships in the prescribed structural equation model(SEM). In order to verify the moderating effect of 'financial status', multi-group analysis between each of the two groups were conducted. Research is based on a survey among 1116 donors who had made charitable, monetary contributions to social welfare organizations in Daegu and Kyungpook province. Data was collected from 29 organizations. In order to address the research questions, structural equation were employed. A variety of tests are conducted(metric invariance, critical ratio for difference, structural invariance, multi-group analysis, bias-corrected boot-strapping, latent mean analysis including Cohen's effect test).

  • This study explored the differences in consumer characteristics-consumer self-confidence, attitude toward, trust and purchase intention for secondhand fashion goods, self-confidence in fashion coordination, price sensitivity for fashion product, and environment conservation consciousness-according to purchasing experience of secondhand fashion goods. A set of questionnaire was administered to 400 university students in Daegu from 18 to 28 April 2011. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, frequency, t-tests. Secondhand fashion goods shoppers were 135(37%) and non-shoppers were 230(63%). The difference analysis results between the two groups were as follows. First, in consumer self-confidence, shoppers showed higher than non-shoppers except persuasion knowledge, and there was no difference in marketplace interfaces between the two groups. Second, there were significant differences in attitude toward secondhand fashion goods, trust and purchase intention for secondhand fashion goods between the two groups. Third, shoppers had higher self-confidence in fashion coordination than non-shoppers, but there was no difference in environment conservation consciousness and price sensitivity for fashion product between the two groups. For future study, it is suggested to find out more general characteristics of secondhand fashion goods shoppers covering other age brackets.

  • Artificial intelligent chatbot services have recently become common in fashion e-retailing and are expected to improve online shopping by making it easy to recommend products. This study examines whether the perceived quality of a fashion chatbot affects consumers' trust and perception of usefulness, which in turn influences satisfaction and intention to use, in accordance with the information system success model. The study also investigates differences in perceived quality and consumer response variables between high and low groups of self-efficacy. A total of 341 consumers participated in an online survey. The results revealed that information quality and system quality had a significant impact on perceived usefulness and trust, and that service quality significantly impacted trust. Perceived usefulness and trust had a positive effect on consumer satisfaction, which in turn had a positive effect on intention to use. In addition, the findings revealed that people who had higher self-efficacy showed higher scores on perceived usefulness, trust, satisfaction, and intention to use chatbots as compared to people who had lower self-efficacy. This study suggested theoretical implications by applying the information system success model theory to fashion chatbot studies. It also suggested practical implications for e-commerce marketers developing retail strategies.

After making up a questionary centering around the large distribution company and analyzing 218 copies, the result are as follows; First, salesperson's working hard has an affirmative effect upon the performance in the salesperson's efforts. Second, the self-effect, the competitive mind, supervisory trust have an affirmative effect in the working hard, and self-effect, supervisory trust have an affirmative effect in the working hard. But the role accuracy has a negative effect. Third, the self-effect, the competitive mind, the role accuracy, and the supervisory trust in the salesperson's performance are ineffectual. But, in the general effect, the self-effect has an affirmative effect and the role accuracy has a negative effect. The individuality and the supervisory trust don't have an effect upon the performance but the effect can rise through the salesperson's efforts, Therefore company should give salespersons the chance they can work hard, and would provide them the concrete aim rather than say to work hard only.

  • In this paper, we investigated the factors affecting the intention to use smartphone banking with a research model based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) extended to include security risk, trust, and self-efficacy. With analysis after controlling factors such as age, gender, and previous experience of smartphone banking that may have effects, we conclude that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, security risk, and trust have direct effect on the intention to use smartphone banking, and self-efficacy has indirect effect on the intention to use through mediation of perceived ease of use. We performed a study to check the validity of TAM in the context of smartphone banking, and confirmed that perceived ease of use has both direct and indirect effect on the intention to use.
