This study developed the learning criteria for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics to establish the theoretical background of the education pursued by STEAM. The learning criteria was developed on a basis of 6 kinds of Technology Home Economics textbooks by 2009 Amended Curriculum, and the factors of STEAM were extracted according to related contents. From the results of this study, the unit 'Dress and Self-expression' assimilated T.E.A.M with learning related to clothing psychology, consumer behavior, fashion design, and Korean fashion. The unit 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' was found to assimilate S.T.E.A.M. with learning related to clothes science and dress structure. Accordingly we can understand this unit also consists of the S. T. E. A. M assimilation such as clothes science, fashion marketing, dress structure, dress aesthetics, design and so on. Both units 'dress and self-expression' and 'eco-friendly clothing and fixing clothes' were found to consist of suggesting situations, creative planning and emotional experience following the learning criteria of STEAM. Therefore, these units will be the basic material for developing STEAM programs centering upon 'Home Economics' among the curriculum.

In general, gestures can be utilized in human-computer interaction area. Even though the acceleration information is most widely used for the detection of user’s intention, it is hard to use the information under the condition of zero or small variations of gesture velocity due to the inherent characteristics of the accelerometer. In this paper, a natural interaction method which does not require excessive gesture acceleration will be described. Taking advantages of the gravity, the system can generate various types of signals. Also, many problems such as initialization and draft error can be solved using restorative uprighting force of the system.

Purpose: This study was to identify the meaning of the lived experiences, to describe of the meaning structures and to develop the strategies of nursing intervention centering to these meanings of the smoking cessation. Method: This study was derived from a phenomenological analytic method suggested by Giorgi. The participants in this study were five adults who had the previous experience of smoking cessation. The data were collected from September of 2001 to April of 2002 through systemic interviews and participatory observations. Average of five interviews were performed, and each interview lasted an hour and half. Result: The meaning of smoking cessation was categorized with nine components. That is (1) obstinacy of the habit of smoking ; difficulty of endurance, succumb to temptation of smoking, repetition of smoking and smoking cessation, habit-forming. (2) Bring about a symptom of improving ; took place headache, expectoration of sputum, sense of instability. (3) Waver in worthy ; doubts about smoking cessation, ridiculed smoking cessation. (4) Be narrowed social life ; become estranged from friends. (5) Futility ; unnecessary, harm. (6) Self-repression ; occurred indomitable mind, strong will, endurance. (7) Gratification ; self-admiration, receive praise from family. (8) Delightfulness ; clean in body and clothes, be disgusted with the foul order of smoking. (9) Improvement in welfare ; a clear mind and good memory, improve in health, have a good appetite. Conclusion: The nursing intervention must be focused on these concerns to accomplish successful smoking cessation program.

In 21st century, subordinated relationship of fashion from the body has been disappearing, and fashion is understood as variable and creative field. This research aims at analysis about the relationship between the body and fashion depending on the theories about the authority and the desire. So, this utilizes between theoretical study and empirical analysis. For concentrated study, research period limits from 2000 to the present time 2010. Contemporary body and fashion have being changed into various forms and values, become complex and de-territory. Especially, body is symbol of ambivalence eroticism that gives point to sexual property, and the object of fetishism and machine having a desire. This study's purpose draw a parallel with between the limits of contemporary body that couldn't be rid of the capital and desire, and the liberty of fashion that escape from the body's influence has being changed independent and fluid space. This research's results are as follow as; contemporary de-territory fashion is expressed as 1) symbol of the object and physical material property, 2) self-transcendental instrument fashion, 3) independent spatial molding, 4) de-centering fashion.

Generally, Web Based Instruction has been deployed through whole studies, but the characteristic that is suit various WBI materials to a course of study is a important problem of instructional practice and it also has not to overlook. Therefore, Today's problem that is application of learning materials about the regional autonomy for Web Based Instruction, A plan that it can be solved in the social studies is propelling in this paper. Each of the whole country's region, the learning about the regional autonomy with centering around text, it is a text book, 'Social Investigation', that is developed specially is teaching until now, but developmental model of learning materials about the regional autonomy for Web Based Instruction is proposed by the efforts for improve this problem. Various learning materials about the regional autonomy for Web Based Instruction applied to learn our regional cultural life through the school homepage with based on this proposal. As a result of this study, By sloughing off old sensibility with centering around text, Student's Ability of self directed learning and solving problem is expanded with the dynamic multimedia regional Webpage's environment

Three precast concrete beam-column connectors for the high-rise office buildings were considered to investigate the prestressing effects of the DDC(Dywidag Ductile Connectors) of Germany and of the modified DDC. The specimens of DDC, DDC with post-tensioning and modified DDC with post-tensioning were constructed and tested to verify the safety. The DDC with and without post-tensioning showed reliable joint strength and ductility but failed in critical x-shape crackings at the column. The modified one showed better behaviors in tests because they did not show critical column crackings at failure. The use of prestressing did not helpful significantly to increase the strength and ductility of connectors but helpful only to develop self-centering behavior for stability.

This paper is the result of research what im-ply the shaman's costume in Korea "Kut" The implications can be summarized as follows: 1) Shaman's costumes in "Kut" are divided into two parts. Namely the one is the position as a priest and the other is the one as God it-self 2) Also shaman's costume were used to ex-press God's character in the ritual "Jae-Cha" These were based on the costume system by one's social position in the times of the Cho-Sun. 3) The reasons why shaman worn the tra-ditional costume are discussed variously. Among those reasons firstly shaman stands for the symbolic significance of each "Kut" as the agent of God. And secondly shaman wore to symbolize the miraculous virtue of God. symbolize the miraculous virtue of God.

A number of surface mount technology (SMT) process variables including land design are considered for minimizing tombstone defect in flexible printed circuit assembly in high volume manufacturing. As SMT chip components have been reduced over the past years with their weights in milligrams, the torque that once helped self-centering of chips, gears to tombstone defects. In this paper, we have investigated the correlation of the assembly process variables with respect to the tombstone defect by employing statistically designed experiment. After the statistical analysis is performed, we have setup hypotheses for the root causes of tombstone defect and derived main effects and interactions of the process parameters affecting the hypothesis. Based on the designed experiments, statistical analysis was performed to investigate significant process variable for the purpose of process control in flexible printed circuit manufacturing area. Finally, we provide beneficial suggestions for find-pitch PCB design, screen printing process, chip-mounting process, and reflow process to minimize the tombstone defects.

Most of calculus and real analysis are concerned with the study on continuous functions. Because of self-sustaining concept caused by everyday language, continuity has difficulties. This kind of viewpoint is strengthened with that teacher explains continuity by graph drawn ceaselessly and so finally confused with mathematics concept which is continuity and connection. Thus such a concept image of continuity becomes to include components which create conflicts. Therefore, we try to analyze understanding of continuity on university students by using the concept image as an analytic tool. We survey centering on problems which create conflicts with concept definition and image. And we investigate that difference of definition in continuous function which handles in calculus and analysis exists and so try to present various results on university students' understanding of continuity concept.
