지하 구조물용 비노출형 방수재의 외부환경에 따른 방수재의 성능 변화 요구 (Waterproofing Materials According to the External Environment of Non-exposed Waterproofing Materials for Underground Structures Performance Change Requirement)

  • In securing durability of underground structure non-exposed waterproof materials, the company aims to improve durability of waterproof materials by studying more realistic weather conditions than KS standards and developers' durability standards. Analyzing the actual climate data in Korea and the temperature of the basement layer, it is a waterproofing sheet method, a self-adhesive sheet method in which a film and a compound, which are currently widely used as underground water-proofing, and a self-adhesive waterproofing sheet method, etc. We would like to present the guidelines necessary to prevent the temperature situation and waterproof defects that are ideal for setting the endurance conditions later.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate waterproofing performance of self adhesive sheet combined polymer resin and poly-iso butylene. For the performance estimation of external waterproofing of concrete underground structures, there can be required various properties such as adhesion strength, hair crack resistance, repeat low and high temperature test, and so on. In this study, there engineering properties of composite system using polymer resin and poly-iso butylene were examined and could be confirmed to satisfy the guidelines of KS. Especially, it was turn out that the adhesion properties was excellent and high crack-resistance up to 1.49mm will be perform.

  • The massive structures are not free to move with vibration, differential settlement, thermal stresses because, construction and expansion joint, crack etc., can be large enough to cause leakage as deformation of waterproofing. It has been depended on the test method of tensile/tear strength which is waterproofing performance as behavior of concrete structure crack. However, not to practically confirm the creep applied to concrete surface, even waterproofing membrane have more performance than definite strength and elasticity. Therefore, in this study will focus on the test method to consider a resistance performance about loose adhesion and deformation of waterproofing and behavior of concrete structure as construction/expansion joint, crack. Performance test method on the influence as behavior of concrete structure crack is to choose waterproofing materials and construction method which possible to confront with behavior of 50mm crack in the atmosphere and low temperature. Examine the deformation of waterproofing membrane and loose adhesion which can occur to structure in general job site, suggest standard testing method to analyze correlation waterproofing membrane and structure with 5-types of materials used in this study, such as Adhesion membrane and sheet complex, sheet and urethane complex, self-adhesive sheet, spray poly-urea, spray membrane of rubberized Asphalt.

SPR 과 접착제를 이용한 이종재료 접합의 피로평가 (Fatigue Assessment Using SPR and Adhesive on Dissimilar Materials)

  • In this study, fatigue life is evaluated by comparing with lighter car body through the experiment on SPR joints. An experimental activity on sheet metal samples of Aluminum 5J32 and Steel SPRC440 has been conducted to achieve better understanding of the process. In addition, SPR joint used less than the existing Spot Welding improves joint strength and fatigue life is evaluated by using SPR and adhesive joining Hybrid. Joining(bonding) strength and fatigue life on SPR and Hybrid (SPR + adhesive) are evaluated throughout the experiment. With joining strength than 20 % of the aluminum material, dissimilar materials has improved over 2 times as large as the strength In case of dissimilar materials, the fatigue life of aluminum is increased by 1.6 to 2.5 times as large as the life.

Al/Fe 이종금속 접합부의 부식특성 (Corrosion Assessment of Al/Fe Dissimilar Metal Joint)

  • The use of light-weight Al alloys in the automotive industry is increasing to meet requirements for fuel efficiency and emission reduction. Joining Al alloy to the conventional steel sheet is also very important issue with the increased use of Al alloy, and several joining processes have been introduced to enhance joining strength between dissimilar metals. This paper deals with a galvanic corrosion in the dissimilar metal joining. Salt spray tests up to 2000 hours were conducted on a self-piercing rivet, spot welded, adhesive bonded and weld-bonded joints, and cross-sections and tensile shear strength according the salt spray duration were analyzed at every 500-hour. Self-piercing rivet joint had relative low initial strength but the joint strength did not change regardless of the salt spray duration. The strength of other joints (spot welded, adhesive bonded and weld-bonded joints) decreased with the increase of salt spray duration and the corrosion behaviour of each joint was discussed.

상수도용 대구경 녹 발생 강관 내부의 보수 및 성능 유지를 위한 EVA 시트와 부틸고무를 합지한 자착식 방수방식 시트의 부착성능 평가 (EVA Sheet and Butyl Rubber based Waterproofing·Anti-Corrosion Sheet for Corrosion Maintenance and Repairing in the Interior Side of the Large Steel Pipes in Water Treatment Facilities)

  • 본 연구는 상수도 급수과정에 사용되는 대구경 강관이 정수과정에서 사용되는 약품으로 인하여 부식이 발생하게 되고 이를 보수하기 위하여 친환경 소재인 EVA 시트 및 강관과의 부착을 용의하게 할 수 있는 부틸고무를 적용하여 자착식 방수방식 시트를 개발하였다. 이에 자착식 방수방식 시트에 대한 강판과의 부착강도를 확인하고, 강관에 발생될 수 있는 다양한 환경조건에서의 부착강도를 확인하였다. 또한 외부에서 침입하는 유입수의 수압에 의해 강관에 부착된 시트의 탈락여부를 확인하였으며, 마지막으로 강관이 부식된 환경과 유사하게 강판에 녹을 발생시켜 자착식 방수방식 시트와 부착강도를 확인함으로써 대구경강관 보수 시 시공 용의성 외에도 안정적인 부착강도를 확보하여 강관의 부식을 차단함과 동시에 안정적인 성능 유지 방안을 확인하고자 하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에 사용된 자착식 방수방식 시트는 강관에 대한 무처리, 장기 누름, 장기 침수 내화학(염산, 차아염소산, 수산화나트륨), 저온($-20^{\circ}C$) 및 습윤 건조 반복에서의 모든 부착성능은 KS F 4934의 성능기준인 1.5N/mm 이상을 상회하는 부착강도가 나타났으며, 배면 누수압에 따른 시트의 탈락현상을 확인하는 시험에서도 배면 누수압 $3.0N/mm^2$까지 시트의 탈락이 발생되지 않았다. 또한 녹이 발생된 강관에서의 부착성능을 확인하는 과정에서도 12시간동안 녹을 발생시킨 시험편에서 2.1N/mm, 168시간동안 녹을 발생시킨 시험편에서 2.0N/mm 의 성능이 나타남에 따라 녹 발생 강관에 대한 안정성이 확인되었다.

  • 이 연구는 기존 무기질계 탄성 도막 방수재와 고무 아스팔트 시트 방수공법을 지붕구조물 적용에 있어서 나타나는 문제점들을 보완하기 위하여 두 재료를 결합한 비노출 방수공법 재료에 대한 연구이다. 이에 따라 두 재료를 결합한 방수공법의 7가지 성능평가를 실시하여 지붕구조물의 적용 특성을 확인하였다. 종합적인 연구 결과 본 복합방수공법은 지붕구조물에서 요구하는 중요한 성능인 표준 및 저온 고온 하에서의 기본적인 인장성능을 능가하고 구조물 거동에 따른 안정성 확보와 구조체와의 부착성능을 확보 함으로써 비노출 복합방수공법으로써 콘크리트 구조물에 적응가능하다고 판단된다.

Exploration of growth mechanism for layer controllable graphene on copper

  • Graphene, hexagonal network of carbon atoms forming a one-atom thick planar sheet, has been emerged as a fascinating material for future nanoelectronics. Huge attention has been captured by its extraordinary electronic properties, such as bipolar conductance, half integer quantum Hall effect at room temperature, ballistic transport over ${\sim}0.4{\mu}m$ length and extremely high carrier mobility at room temperature. Several approaches have been developed to produce graphene, such as micromechanical cleavage of highly ordered pyrolytic graphite using adhesive tape, chemical reduction of exfoliated graphite oxide, epitaxial growth of graphene on SiC and single crystalline metal substrate, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD) synthesis. In particular, direct synthesis of graphene using metal catalytic substrate in CVD process provides a new way to large-scale production of graphene film for realization of graphene-based electronics. In this method, metal catalytic substrates including Ni and Cu have been used for CVD synthesis of graphene. There are two proposed mechanism of graphene synthesis: carbon diffusion and precipitation for graphene synthesized on Ni, and surface adsorption for graphene synthesized on Cu, namely, self-limiting growth mechanism, which can be divided by difference of carbon solubility of the metals. Here we present that large area, uniform, and layer controllable graphene synthesized on Cu catalytic substrate is achieved by acetylene-assisted CVD. The number of graphene layer can be simply controlled by adjusting acetylene injection time, verified by Raman spectroscopy. Structural features and full details of mechanism for the growth of layer controllable graphene on Cu were systematically explored by transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, and secondary ion mass spectroscopy.

철도교량상판 방수재료 선정을 위한 균열거동저항 성능평가 (Joint Displacement Resistance Evaluation of Waterproofing Material in Railroad Bridge Deck)

  • 본 논문에서는 철도교량상판에 적용하는 방수재료 선정을 위한 이음부 및 균열부에 대한 거동 저항 성능평가를 수행하였다. PSC거더 철도 교량상판에서 발생하는 일반적인 변위 범위 조건을 도출하여, 도출한 결과에 따라서 방수재료의 균열 거동 저항 성능평가 방법을 개발하였다. 재안하고자 하는 평가를 위한 균열거동폭 (mm)을 설정하기 위해 레일도상이 설치되어있는 PSC 거더 교량을 대상으로 유한요소 모델링 해석을 수행하였으며, 최소 균열 거동 범위 (약 1.5mm)를 도출하였다. 평가 방법으로서는 교량 상판에 통상적으로 사용되는 시멘트계 도막 시스템, 폴리우레탄 코팅, 접착식 아스팔트 시트 및 합성 고무 겔 복합 아스팔트 시트 시스템 총 4가지 종류의 방수재료를 선정하여, 각 방수재료 종류별 5가지의 시편을 제조하여 성능 평가를 수행하였다. 각 시험편별로 4가지의 균열 거동폭조건 (1.5, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0mm)에 대해 평가를 수행하였으며, 본 연구를 통하여 철도교량에 일반적인 균열 거동 폭을 고려한 평가 기준에 따라 각 방수재료별 누수저항성 평가에 따른 철도교량상판 사용 적합성을 판단하였다.
