소셜 네트워크 서비스 사용자의 디지털 아이템 구매와 실제 사용에 관한 연구: 종단적 관점에서 (Exploring Purchase Behavior of Digital Items and Actual Usage in a Social Network Site: A Longitudinal Perspective)

  • Given the rapid growth of social network services (SNS) such as Facebook and Cyworld, it is important to understand SNS users' decision-making processes such as purchasing and continuance intention. Especially, as a number of SNS providers such as Cyworld and Habbo Hotel recognize the sales of digital items as the main source of their profits, it is critical to in-depth understand SNS users' purchasing behaviors. In this regard, this study explores continued usage behaviors and purchase behaviors of digital items in an SNS environment using a longitudinal research method. This paper develops a theoretical model to deeply understand the key drivers of purchase behavior of digital items through constructs prescribed by two established research streams on information systems, namely continuance usage and habitual usage. Moreover, this study examines the effects of actual and ideal self-image congruity on SNS continuance intention and habit. The research model was tested by using survey data collected from 307 users who have experience with Cyworld. The analysis results show that SNS actual usage directly influence purchase behavior of digital items. SNS users' continuance intention and habit are key drivers to enhance the level of actual usage of the SNS. Both actual and ideal self-image congruity play a key role in enhancing continuance usage and habitual usage. The implication of research and discussions provides reference for SNS providers in marketing and IT strategy.

초등학생과 중학생의 간호사에 대한 이미지 비교 (Nurse Image Perceived by Elementary and Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to investigate the image of nurse perceives by students of elementary and middle schools in Seoul, Korea. Methods: The data were collected through questionnaire survey on 860 students. The survey was performed during May to Jun. 2003. The nurse image was analyzed through the instrument conceived by Il-Sim, Yang(1998) on the basis of four dimensions; traditional, social, professional and personal. The collected data analyzed using SPSS 11.0 with frequency, mean, standard deviation and t-test. Results: The results of this study were as follows. 1. There was a significant difference in the nurse's image between elementary and middle school students(p=.000), and the elementary students had more positive image. 2. The nurse's image of elementary school students had more positive than middle school students in traditional(p=.000), social(p=.000), professional(p=.000) and personal dimension(p=.015). In elementary school students, score of nurse's image was the highest in personal dimension, followed by traditional, professional and social in order. In middle school students, score of nurse's image was the highest in personal dimension, followed by professional, traditional and social in order. 3. The difference of nurse's image not showed statistical significance in sex, religion, experience of hospitalization(self), experience of hospitalization (family), nurses in family by general characteristics. Conclusion: As a result, elementary school student had more positive nurse's image than middle school student in all the aspects. But as they grow old, it changed negative. It is required to develop public information or education fit with student's age to image making by broadcasting and to improve the image nurses themselves.

서울 일부 지역 여고생의 체중조절 및 이와 관련된 요인 (A Study of Weight Control and Associated Factors among High School Female Students)

  • The study purpose was to examine weight control status and related factors among 370 high school girls in Seoul. Factors examined included interest toward weight control, body satisfaction, body image, beliefs regarding weight control and self-efficacy. $65.1\%$ had attempted to control weight and were categorized into attempt group. Those in the attempt group had higher body weight (p < 0.001) and BMI (p < 0.001) than the counterparts. They tried to control weight 2.9 times on average (22.4 days each time). The major information sources for weight control were internet ($62.8\%$), and TV/radio ($17.1\%$). Exercise was most commonly used for weight control, followed by reducing meal amount and skipping dinner. The attempt group was less satisfied with body size (p < 0.001) and perceived their body size as heavier than the counterparts (p < 0.001), but they showed more interest toward weight control (p < 0.001). The ideal body size of society or the body size that they want was very thin in both groups. Twelve out of 20 beliefs regarding weight control were significantly different between the two groups. The attempt group believed more strongly on the advantages such as increased self-confidence, appearance, attractiveness (p < 0.001) and 'good for making friends' (p < 0.01) In contrast, the attempt group believed less strongly about the disadvantages including harmful effects on health (p < 0.001), parents' dislike, feelings of discouragement (p < 0.01) and becoming (p < 0.05). The attempt group showed lower overall self-efficacy to control overeating (p < 0.05) than the counterparts. Especially, the attempt group felt less control of overeating in situations such as eating-out, after school, when they are with family (p < 0.01) or with friends, when they feel hungry, during examination periods and when others offer food (p < 0.05). This study suggested that weight management education for adolescents include strategies for changing body image and beliefs regarding weight control, as well as increasing self-efficacy to control overeating. 디지털콘텐츠를 위한 플루이드 아이덴티티 연구 (A Study on Fluid Identity in Digital Contents)

  • The purpose of this study are to show a new possibility of identity design to be used as tools of users identity expression, designing digital contents by studying on the methods to express users identities successfully in the digital contents design, and to present the possibility to expand the area of identity design. Digital contents are a communication media in it self, but this study tried to consider the digital contents as a tool of users communication or expression. The identity expression, which are not only makes communications efficient but also lets products and companies acknowledged by users, is one of the most indispensable factors in products competitive power in both the present and the future. However, no define methods of identity expression are settled as well as recognized by users properly and accurately yet, so that this study focuses on that point. Therefore, This study is advanced in the direction of establishing the concept of digital identity for an expansion of the media toward the identity expression in design as well as making researchers in successful identity expression ways by means of actual design, more than a graphic image making that simply decorates a digital contents. The point of this study is to show a new concept of identity design that expresses users identities so as to suggest another possibility of identity design.

  • If we may practice the nutrition education planned on the basis which carefully grasped the inappropriate behavioral determinants of middle-school students, it might be an effective method achieving the change in perception and behavior improving the distorted perception about the ideal body shape, so we are to suggest the 8 week program of body shape perception improvement for successful nutrition education as follows. The body shape perception improvement program is a step-by-step group consulting program. At the introduction stage, we let them understand the meaning of true beauty and body change of teenage period and forming of sexual identity. At the stage of perception conversion, we let them have the opportunity to observe the status of body perception of the teenager and self-observation. At the stage of correction, we let them criticize the distorted body image in the society with mass media at the same time with the self-reflection. At the stage of maintenance and evaluation, we suggested the behavior guidance while preparing it. Setting this as the basis, we applied the contents such as the evaluations through cultural sharing events making somethings while directly participating. As the target groups to practice education were middle school students, we considered the learning level and behavioral features of the middle school students, and composed the programs including the methods such as role play, watching real things, media production, discussions and experiences. If the program of body shape perception improvement developed at this study could be utilized at the field of schools, the teenagers can change their ways of thought naturally avoiding the view about unified appearance rightly perceiving negative self-image that the teenagers can have and if the group consulting can be practiced regularly at each school, many students may experience the change in perception, so it might solicit the improvement of health of the families and local societies as well as that of the individual student.

여대생의 신체상 인식에 관한 현상학적 분석 (Phenomenological Analysis of Perception on Body Image of Female College Students)

  • 본 연구는 여대생의 신체상에 대한 인식을 그들의 시각에서 그 의미를 확인함으로써 긍정적인 신체상을 안정적으로 정립하는데 필요한 교육 프로그램을 개발하는데 기초자료를 모색하고자 시도되었다. 자료는 2012년 10월부터 2013년 9월까지 수집하였고 수집방법은 포커스 그룹을 활용하여 심층면담 및 참여 관찰을 사용하였다. 각 포커스 그룹 별 구성원은 3명~4명으로 집단 구성원간의 친숙도를 고려하여 현상에 대한 진술이 포화되는 시점을 고려하여 경험의 진술이 반복되는 시점까지로 총 3개 집단, 10명이 참여하였다. 수집한 자료는 Giorgi(1985) 방법을 이용하여 분석하였으며 참여자가 진술한 내용을 중심으로 확인한 여대생의 신체상 인식에 대한 의미구조는 12개의 주제와 5개의 중심의미로 분류하여 일반적으로 구조화하였다. 여대생의 신체상 인식에 관한 의미구조는 "건강한 성격", "건강한 신체", "인위적 몸 만들기", "사회적 편견", "이상적 신체를 향한 개성 존중"으로 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과를 기초로 여대생이 긍정적인 신체상을 정립하고 신체상 관련 건강 문제를 감소시키기 위해서 신체적 건강과 심리적 스트레스를 관리하고 조화로운 대인관계를 맺는 기술에 대한 교육이 필요하며 사회적 편견으로 인한 왜곡된 신체상에 대해 인식하고 자신만의 개성을 찾고 그 가치를 인식 하는 교육 프로그램이 필요함을 제언한다.

문학 작품을 통한 향토 음식 콘텐츠 개발 - 충무공 '현충(顯忠) 밥상', 추사 김정희 '추사(秋史) 밥상' (Development on Native Local Food Contents through Literature)

  • This study attempted to research the local food of various regions at a personal level by discovering how food has developed das part of a region's culture base. Discovery of the characteristic story behind the making of a region's characteristic food as local delicacies can inspire self-esteem in the culture, and enhance the real-life image as appropriate to a region, and thereby be made a part of local tourism and thus contributing to the local economy. For this reason, the native foods of the region of Chungcheongnam-do were researched in terms of the cultural sensibilities that inform the unique history of that region. The study was designed so as to aid in understanding food's characteristic value in Chungcheongnam-do and to give a historical representation of Chungcheongnam-do's image by means of storytelling techniques; thus, the local food's character can be presented alongside a story that appeals to the five senses. For this purpose, Chungcheongnam-do's representative native rice table was cast as the 'Hyunchoong rice meal table' - after the figure of admiral Yi Sun Shin of Asan area region, a representative image of Chungcheongnam-do - and 'Choosa rice meal table', after the figure of 'Choosa' Kim Jeong Hee of Yesan region, of which various literary works form a representative image of Chungcheongnam-do. 'Hyunchoong rice meal table' was composed of a health food centered menu which could supply sufficient nutrition as a food ration in times of war or winter shortage, thus providing an image of nutrition and power as appropriate to these situations. Also, to assess the health effectiveness of each rice table, the functionality of the ingredients were investigated as reported in 'Sik-ryo-chan-yo : a dietary treatment' which was published by Soon-Ui Cheon in the Chosun era and by which the foods of the early Chosun era won recognition as being both healthy profitable.

비만인의 정서적 문제에 관한 문헌적 고찰 (Literature Review for the Emotional Troubles of the Obese Men and Women)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate the emotional roubles of the obese and their's relationship with obesity so as to be useful for treating the obesity and estimating it's prognosis. Method : This study investigates the fifteen statistical treatises for the emotional troubles of the obese, and distributes their's results into depression, perception of obesity, satisfaction of body shape, eating behavior, and other emotional troubles. Conclusions: 1. In the obese dissatisfaction and inferiority complex for body shape are one of the causes bring about depression. 2. Masked depression is often, so exact examination is needed and the treatment of depression is useful for treating the obesity and estimating it's prognosis. 3. In the obese correcting wrong body shape image and making them gain confidence in treatment of obesity is needed because they have low self-efficacy in overeating, high perception of obesity, and dissatisfaction of body shape. 4. The obese has a abnormal eating behavior and it is related with the emotion troubles such as depression, low self-esteem, and so forth.

종합병원 선택요인에 대한 내.외부고객의 중요도 - 성과도 분석 (IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) of Hospital Choice in Internal and External Customers)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate IPA(Importance Performance Analysis) of the hospital choice factor between internal and external customers at S general hospital. This study was used 5 types of choice factors such as physical, interpersonal, accessibility, connection, and image. This study was used Importance Performance Analysis which can be applied to identify the strengths and weaknesses attributes from hospital customers' viewpoint. The sample was selected 116 patients and 97 internal employees for S hospital in Seoul. Data were collected with self-reported questionnaires from April 1 to 29 in 2012 and analyzed by paired t-test, scatter plot graph. The result of the study was that the perceptional gaps between internal and external consumers were existed in physical, connection and image factors, except interpersonal, accessibility. The "Keep up the good work" quadrant was interpersonal factor, and the "Low Priority" quadrant was accessibility. The findings of this study will be applied to make hospital strategic decision making and to improve marketing service quality in administrative department of hospital.

내러티브를 통한 임상간호사의 간호 정체성 (Reconstruction of Professional Identity in Clinical Nurses)

  • This study was carried out to identify and re-establish the professional identity in clinical nurses. Method: From Dec. 1999, for 4 months, the study had been conducted by narrative analysis method based on hermeneutic principles. Subjects were ten nurses with 3-4 years of nursing experience at a university hospital. The data were collected and transcribed through narrative interviews. Result: As a result, the maternal role was identified as the most dominant discourse in which nurses formed their identity. Subjects felt that a maternity is socio-culturally needed in case of nursing. Reconstruction of professional identity consists of 3 stages, Telling, Retelling and Rebuilding. At first, nurses felt confused by skeptism of the profession, interpersonal difficulties, and heavy work loads. However, during the interviews, nurses recognized that nursing is not regarded as significant, effort to make nursing meaningful were small, and there was a lack of understanding others. From this new insight, they re-established a new image of nursing ″through better understanding of others, seeking knowledge, and making positive efforts towards qualified nursing". Conclusion: The above narrative interviews may help nurses reflect and contextually interpret themselves, so that a new identity could be established. Furthermore researchers can obtain new insight from the subjects, while the subjects form a new nursing image from self-reflection.tion.
