This paper addresses a RNG based scatternet topology formation, self-healing, and routing path optimization for small-scale distributed environment, which is called RNG-FHR(Scatternet Formation, self-Healing and self-Routing path optimization) algorithm. We evaluated the algorithm using ns-2 and extensible Bluetoothsimulator called blueware to show that RNG-FHR does not have superior performance, but is simpler and more practical than any other distributed algorithms from the point of depolying the network in the small-scale distributed dynamic environment due to the exchange of fewer messages and local control. As a result, we realized that even though RNG-FHR is unlikely to be possible for deploying in large-scale environment, it surely can be deployed for performance and practical implementation in small-scale environment.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of bereavement for main family members who had made and followed DNR decision for their family members. Method: This qualitative study was based on a grounded theory, and used in-depth interview techniques with the bereaved 10 main family members who had been treated and died under DNR order. Results: The causal condition of the family member was 'Releasing', and the main consequent phenomenon were 'Blaming self and ruminating'. The contextual condition was 'The memory of the deceased'. The action/reaction strategy was 'Purifying'. The intervening condition was 'Supporting system', and the consequence was 'Acceptance'. The experience after bereavement of the family member on DNR decision were rational processes that purified themselves and healed the guilt feeling about the decision from reflective assessment and response about DNR decision. Based on this results, the substantive theory 'Reflective self healing' was derived. Conclusion: The main family members in following DNR decision are more likely to have unhealthy emotional condition than others in normal bereavement process. But they overcame the grief of bereavement through reflective self healing process.
This study was conducted to examine the effects of care farming activities on the brain waves of adults with developmental disabilities from September 2022 to December 2022, with a total of 16 sessions held once a week. For 28 adults with developmental disabilities, 15 participants in the care farm program and 13 participants who did not participate were used as the control group. Before and after the care farming activities, participants' self-esteem, happiness levels, and brain function indices were measured through surveys and electroencephalography (EEG). Consequently, the self-esteem of the participants in the experimental group significantly increased after the activity, and as for the brain function index, the left brain activity index related to stress, attention, brain function, and emotional state increased compared to the control group in the experimental group of adults with developmental disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities. Notably, the effect of care farming activities was greater for women than for men with intellectual disabilities. Therefore, considering the differential effects of care farming activities based on the type of developmental disability and sex, it is deemed advantageous to primarily apply these activities to women with intellectual disabilities in order to maximize the healing effect of care farming.

In this study, it was investigated that characteristic of crack-self-healing of hot-pressed SiC. SiC ceramics was sintered with $Al_2O_3$ and $Y_2O_3$ sintering additive by hot press. Sintering was performed in hot-press furnace in flowing argon (Ar), holding for 3 hr under $1950^{\circ}C$ and 50 MPa. The sintered SiC was machined into 3-point bending strength specimen of $3{\times}4{\times}40mm$, and introduced pre-crack by Vickers indentation at 49.6 N. Specimens were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), 3-point bending strength after heat treatment at $1200{\sim}1400^{\circ}C$ for 1~10 hr. The best crack-self-healing ability was achieved 770 MPa 3-point bending strength by heat treatment at $1300^{\circ}C$ for 5 hr.
A single lap shear test was used to investigate the effects of the ratio of a catalyst to a self-healing agent and curing temperature on the bond performance of autonomic polymer composites. DCPD (dicyclopentadiene), ENB (5-ethylidene-2-norbornene), and their mixture were used as self-healing agents and bis(triclohexylphosphine) benzyllidine ruthenium (IV) dichloride Grubbs' catalyst was used as a catalyst. During the experiments, the catalyst ratios of 1.0wt% and 0.5wt% were applied to DCPD, the catalyst ratio of 0.lwt% was applied to ENB, and the catalyst ratio of 0.5wt% was applied to the mixtutes of DPCD and ENB. In addition, the curing temperatures of $25^{\circ}C$, $60{\circ}C$, and $80^{\circ}C$ were considered. According to the results, the higher catalyst ratio and the longer curing time were required to obtain more stabilized bond shear strength of DCPD. ENB with a lower catalyst ratio was cured faster than DCPD. Unlike DCPD, ENB stabilized after a steady fall from its peak as the curing time increased. Moreover, the mixtures of DCPD and ENB revealed similar curing behavior to ENB, but the increase in mixture ratio of ENB to DCPD caused curing process to be faster. Also the increase in curing temperature caused the bond shear strength to be higher and the curing time to be quicker.
There have been large concerns about survivability defined as the capability of a system to perform a mission-critical role, in a timely manner, in the presence of attacks, failures. In particular, One of the most important core technologies required for the design of the ITS(Intrusion Tolerance System) that performs continuously minimal essential services even when the computer system is partially compromised because of intrusions is the survivability one of In included the dependability analysis of a reliability and availability etc. quantitative dependability analysis of the In. In this Paper, we applied self-healing mechanism utilizing two factors of self-healing mechanism (fault model and system response), the core technology of autonomic computing to secure the protection power of the ITS and consisted of a state transition diagram of the ITS composed of a primary server and a backup server. We also defined the survivability, availability, and downtime cost of the ITS, and then performed studies on simulation experiments and two cases of vulnerability attack. Simulation results show that intrusion tolerance capability at the initial state is more important than coping capability at the attack state in terms of the dependability enhancement.
As the number of foreign workers increases in Korea, people's interest in their adaptation to this society has also increased. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of a forest-healing program on foreign workers' cultural adaptation stress and psychological wellbeing. The experiment was conducted in a recreation forest located in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do. The subjects who participated in this study included 40 foreign workers (16 males, 24 females). The experiment was conducted for three days and two nights from June 26 to 28, 2019. The forest healing program was composed of activities that can enhance immunity and restore physical and mental health by utilizing various healing environmental factors such as landscapes, sunlight, anion and oxygen in forest. The independent sample t-test was conducted to examine changes in cultural adaptation stress and psychological well-being before and after the program. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 program. As a result, cultural adaptation stress was statistically significantly reduced in sub-factors including discrimination experience, language conflict and legal status. Psychological wellbeing improved in all the surveyed sub-factors such as self-confidence, ego, immersion, and joy. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for reducing the stress foreign workers experience from cultural adaptation and restoring their psychological wellbeing in the future.
This exploratory research examines a new approach to the healing environment in the changed health paradigm, and seeks to conceptualize the extended characteristics of the healing environment in the context of mental health promotion. This study aims to, first, define the concepts of health, mental health, and the healing environment in the changed paradigm, and second, develop the healing characteristics of the physical environment for mental health promotion and create indicators. For these purposes, this study performed a theoretical exploration that could support the concept of the healing environment for mental health promotion by expanding its scope into not only architecture, psychology, and psychiatry but also philosophy of architecture and environment psychology, which concerns the relationship between humans and the environment. This study considers related theories and attempts to establish a new concept from a convergent perspective. The characteristics of the healing environment categorized as a result of exploratory research on previous studies and theories include (a) physical protection promotion, (b) psychological comfort promotion, (c) social exchange promotion, and (d) personal self-esteem promotion. Establishing the concept of the healing environment for mental health promotion is important to implement the actual healing environment. Based on the concept, more specific design indicators and guidelines could be developed to conduct applied research.

A hybrid self-hearing motor, which Is a functional combination of general permanent magnet (PM) motor and hybrid active magnetic bearing(AMB), was proposed a few years ago. In this paper the hybrid self-bearing motor is modified to a disk type, in which one of two magnetic hearings was substituted for a thin yoke to make the system more compact. An outer rotors in this self-hearing motor is actively controlled only in two radial directions while the ocher motions are passively salable owing to the disk-type structure. Main advantages of the proposed self-hearing motor are simple control mechanism, low power consumption and smart structure. Mathematical model for the magnetic force Is built wish consideration of the radial displacement of the rotor. The model helps us not only to design a levitation controller but also to expect the system performance. Some experimental results show good capability and feasibility of the Proposed self-bearing motor.
