Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate awareness and performance of infection control by dental hygienist. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was answered by 239 dental hygienists working in dental clinics from September 7 to 18, 2016 in Gwangju city & Jeonnam region after explaining the purpose of the study and receiving the informed consent. The questionnaire consisted of sociodemographic characteristics and awareness and performance of infection control using Likert 4 point scale. Results: Average of Infection control awareness was $3.33{\pm}0.38$, average of infection control Performance was $3.04{\pm}0.37$ (p<0.05). The awareness and practice of dental equipment management showed the largest difference. The awareness of infection control by general characteristics varied according to position, number of dental units, number of employees, Infection control needs, Received infection control training experience, infection experience, infection control guideline (p<0.05). The relationship between infection control awareness and Infection control performance was r = 0.624 (p<0.001), indicating positive correlation. Conclusions: To improve awareness and performance of dental hygienist's infection control, regular received infection control training experience is needed. It is considered that the dentist's active cooperation is needed in shortening the life span of the dental equipment due to the Infection control performance and securing the quantity.

PURPOSE: This study examined the effects of muscle fatigue on proprioception in the type of taekwondo training, causing injury to taekwondo athletes. METHODS: The subjects were divided into Taekwondo Kyorugi athletes (n = 14) and Taekwondo Poomsae athletes (n = 14). After inducing muscle fatigue to the subjects, the joint position sense (JPS) and the force reproduction sense (FRS) were measured before and immediately after the induction of muscle fatigue. RESULTS: Studies have shown no significant impact on the JPS and FRS caused by muscle fatigue induced by Poomsae and Kyorugi (p > .05). The JPS, however, showed a significant difference before and after Kyorugi (p < .05). The FRS showed significant differences before and after Poomsae (p < .05). Through this study, the injuries to taekwondo athletes appear to be influenced by the joint position and force reproduction. Moreover, the injury appears to affect the joint position sense in Kyorugi athletes and the force reproduction sense in Poomsae athletes. CONCLUSION: The results will contribute to injury prevention and athlete protection. In addition, the information can be used as basic data for the development of sports injuries prevention and rehabilitation programs for Taekwondo athletes. Research is needed on the customized management of sports methods and self-care to prevent sports damage, considering the athletic characteristics of the taekwondo athletes in the future.
This study attempted to investigate and compare the level of needs and expected benefits of information technology(IT) applications in restaurant operation from managerial and employee levels. Self-competence levels, education and training needs, and the company IT application levels were evaluated. The respondents for the study were the staff of full-service, mid-scale restaurants owned by a firm. Among the respondents, 17.6% were in managerial level(managers) and 82.4% were in employee level(employees). The results of this study indicated that compared to employees, managers perceived more in-depth that IT is beneficial and is needed in restaurant operation. Both groups rated IT as very much needed and beneficial to restaurant operation. However, managers rated their own technological competence significantly higher than the employees did. Both groups expressed the desire for IT training and education although the managers' needs were stronger than the other group. The company's IT application level was assessed by the managers and employees at a slightly higher than average score on a 5-point scale, showing no difference between the groups. The study findings show that the respondents perceived the IT needs and benefits than the present IT application level of restaurants, which suggests more IT applications be adopted to the restaurant operations.
Objective and Background: Due to increase in Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) relating to computer use, a number of ergonomics recommendations have been proposed in order to tackle this problem. However, some of these recommendations have been conflicting. Method: This study was to survey the VDT (Visual Display Terminal) use of office workers. The subjects were 452 workers at 13 places of business and the data were collected by self-administered questionnaire. Results: As a result, prevalence of self-reported MSDs of all VDT workers was 90.2% and shoulder took up 57.0% and neck 38.3% by symptom part of body. The population of computer use of more than 6h/day was 84.5%, and 33.8% also reported using the VDT 2~3h/day without the rest time. Desktop computer users were 95.6%, and a 17-inch monitor accounted for 42.0% among the desktop users. As a result of satisfaction survey on overall computer work, 21.1% of the total respondents said satisfied, desk complaint was about 24.6%, and chair complaint was 33.4%. Despite the importance of computer environment, satisfaction was from fair to uncomfortable. Conclusion and Application: In conclusion, office workers are prone to the MSDs due to their work environment. Additionally, this study found that task was a significant effect for the majority of dependent variables, and therefore, the improvement of computer workstations work environment is urgent, and the improvement of desk height adjustment, chair seat size (length, width), backrest condition, location of keyboard (mouse) and arm rest is required.
This was a one-group pretest-protest pre-experimental study designed to find out the effects of writing programs on college students using flipped learning for training convergence talents with complex problem solving skills. Data were collected from 27 C university students in G-do, from September 1st to October 30th, 2020. Analysis was done using IBM SPSS 25.0 for frequency (percentage), average, standard deviation, and paired t-test. The study showed that self leadership was enhanced by an average of 0.45 points (p<.001), metacognition by 0.87 points (p<.001), goal orientation by 0,77 points (p<.001), and creativity by 0.51 points (p<.001), so was statistically significant. The study demonstrated that writing programs using filpped learning had the effect of improving complex problem solving skills. so the results are expected to be used as basic data for the development of educational programs for traning convergence talents with problem solving skills at university-level. Also, for current college students that can freely access the online environment, development of various e-learning classes that apply flipped learning is needed.

This study examined the data from 300 Daejeon and Chungnam Province's lifelong educators to establish the mediated effects of emotional intelligence on job performance and the influential relation between them. A research model and hypothesis was conducted from preliminary research, and the main data was brought into statistical analysis with the SPSS 20.0. The statistical analysis was divided into frequency, primary factors, and reliability; the tools used were the Varimax rotation factor analysis, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The analysis was also performed using the Pearson correlation coefficient, where the hypothesis was proven through regression analysis. The results showed that first, emotional intelligence and all of its sub factors have a positive influence on job performance. Second, job satisfaction, a factor shown in emotional intelligence and job performance, appeared to have mediating effects on self-awareness, self-management, social recognition, and relationship management. The results suggest that systematic training and development programs for improving emotional intelligence will be needed to build the competence of lifelong educators.
The purpose of this study was to compare the physical and psychological functioning by sex, weight and age in Judo athletes. The 124 participants; high school students, college students, and team players. They used physical tests to measure physical examinations by self-describing Knee injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score test, Foot and Ankle Outcome Score test, and Oswestry Disability Index, and psychological tests such as Profile of Mood Test, Athletes' Self-Management Questionnaire, and The Athletic Coping Skills Inventory-28, to examine the effects of physical and psychological functions of sports athletes. The physical tests of sex showed differences in knee and back, psychological tests of sex showed differences in mood state, self-management, and athletic coping skills. As a result of physical examination by weight, there was a difference in knee pain and sports items, psychological tests showed that there was a significant difference in mood state except for vitality. Physical examination by age showed differences in knee, ankle, and back. As a result of age-based psychological test, mood state test showed difference in all items except tension and vitality. There was a significant difference only in the items of physical management in self-management test. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basic data for sports injury training and medical technology development by sex, weight and age of Judo athletes.

As the foodservice industry is labor intensive, the efficient management of human resources is an essential element for improving operational efficiency. This study was designed to investigate the performance level of human resource management in self-operated school foodservices and to examine the relationship between human resource management, organizational commitment, and productivity. Whether these factors rated differently by employment and job types was also examined. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 dieticians and 240 cooks in Seongnam and Yongin. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, the t-test and multiple regression analysis were tested using Minitab. Human resource management practices rated highly in the dimension of employee training (3.51), followed by working environment (3.39), and turnover management (3.37). In contrast, reward management (1.73) and working condition (1.56) received the lowest score. Organizational commitment scored 3.65 points, and showed that dedication (3.82) was the highest score; however, self-esteem (3.50) was the lowest score. For human resource management, there were significant differences between employment types as full time workers (3.85) rated management more highly than part-time worker (3.43). Overall productivity was fairly high, especially in high school foodservices. Only the performance appraisal had an influence on organizational commitment (${\beta}$=0.292, P<0.05). Productivity was positively correlated with human resource management (r=0.432, P<0.001) and organizational commitment (r=0.36, P<0.01). In conclusion, school foodservices need to establish objective performance standards, and increase employee morale by enhancing reward systems and working conditions. In particular, irregular employees require training with job performance standards and given a proper reward program, depending on their performance, to improve organizational commitment.
The present study explores the effect of blended action learning program on the improvement of the self-directed learning skills of university students. For this, students in the college of education at D University located in the capital area were selected to form 30 students of the experimental group and 30 of the control group. The average age of the subjects is 22.3. They are students in the $2^{nd}$ to $4^{th}$ year of university and the demographic background is relatively homogeneous. The experiment was conducted in the Sociology of Education class (a teacher training course). The self-directed learning skills were pre-tested at the beginning of the term. After that, the experimental group had the class with blended action learning program, and the control group had the class with action learning program. The post-test was carried out at the end of the term. For data analysis, ANCOVA was carried out to compare the scores on post-test of the two groups in consideration of the scores on the pre-test. The results show that first, for the improvement of self-directed learning skills of university students, blended action learning program is more effective than action learning program. Second, in the class for learners with lower degree of cognition and experience, blended action learning program was more effective than action learning program. Third, in terms of management of learning resources and utilization of learning strategies, both action learning program and blended action learning program were not effective. In summary, for improvement of the self-directed learning skills of university students, action learning program, which is a learning method focused on learner's participation and practice, is more effective than the traditional collective lecture among diverse teaching methods. Yet in consideration of the elementary level of university students in terms of intelligence and experience, active use of blended action learning program is required.

Objectives: The purpose of the present study is to examine the effects of the Field Management Training Program for home care services personnel on their understanding and professional competences. Methods: The subjects were 373 team managers of public home care services who participated in the training program. Data was collected with a self-administered questionnaire in April and September, 2007. The subjects' level of understanding of home care was measured by 35 questions divided into 8 categories while their professional competence was measured by 15 questions divided into 5 categories. Result: After attending the training, the subjects' understanding improved from 20.90 points (possible range: 4~32) to 26.11 points. The most improvement was evident in the Planning and Public Health Education categories. Their professional competences improved from 10.81 points (possible range: 4~16) to 12.51 points. The improvement of their understanding and professional competences differed across to training places. It was also evident that an increase in understanding brought about an increase in professional competence. Conclusion: The Field Management Training Program needs to be continued with efforts to reduce the differences of training effects between training places. And additional recommendations should be made through further evaluation of subsequent training programs.
