The nuclear waste attributes of near-term deployable SMRs were assessed using established nuclear waste metrics, which are the DU mass, SNF mass, volume, activity, decay heat, radiotoxicity, and decommissioning LLW volumes. Metrics normalized per unit electricity generation were compared to a reference large PWR. Three SMRs, VOYGR, Natrium, and Xe-100, were selected because they represent a range of reactor and fuel technologies and are active designs deployable by the decade's end. The SMR nuclear waste attributes show both some similarities to the PWR and some significant differences caused by reactor-specific design features. The DU mass is equivalent to or slightly higher than the PWR. Back-end waste attributes for SNF disposition vary, but the differences have a limited impact on long-term repository isolation. SMR designs can vary significantly in SNF volume (and thus heat generation density). However, these differences are amenable to design optimization for handling, storage, transportation, and disposal technologies. Nuclear waste attributes from decommissioning vary depending on design and decommissioning technology choices. Given the analysis results in this study and assuming appropriate waste management system and operational optimization, there appear to be no major challenges to managing SMR nuclear wastes compared to the reference PWR.
This study analyzed the attributes of the conceptions of $3^{rd}$ to $6^{th}$ grade elementary school students on three states of matter and investigated the characteristics of the classified results of various examples of matter by grades. Through discussion activities, we confirmed the stabilization of conception attributions. For this study, 113 participants from two $3^{rd}$ to $6^{th}$ grade elementary school classes were selected. The concentration analysis (C-factor) and normalized gain (G-factor) of the conceptions for the quantitative analysis of the conception changes were used. The elementary school students retained different percentages of the attributes for states of matter. The characteristic of the grades were different between the 3rd grade and other grades. Based on these results, we pointed out the problems with the present teaching methods in science textbooks and stated the advantages of the effects of the representation of mixtures.

We evaluated the efficiencies of applying attribute selection methods and prior discretization to supervised learning, modelled by C4.5 and Naive Bayes. Three databases were obtained from UCI data archive, which consisted of continuous attributes except for one decision attribute. Four methods were used for attribute selection : MDI, ReliefF, Gain Ratio and Consistency-based method. MDI and ReliefF can be used for both continuous and discrete attributes, but the other two methods can be used only for discrete attributes. Discretization was performed using the Fayyad and Irani method. To investigate the effect of noise included in the database, noises were introduced into the data sets up to the extents of 10 or 20%, and then the data, including those either containing the noises or not, were processed through the steps of attribute selection, discretization and classification. The results of this study indicate that classification of the data based on selected attributes yields higher accuracy than in the case of classifying the full data set, and prior discretization does not lower the accuracy.
This study was designed to find what impacts store attributes and personal characteristics have had on customer loyalty to beauty shops. Participants were 283 men and women who had experienced services in beauty shops and selected from the Metropolitan area, Busan, Gyeongbuk area, Gyeongnam area, Chungcheong area, and other area. In conclusion, technical factor and lifestyle have had the greatest impact on customer loyalty to beauty shops. In beauty market faced with keen competition, the way to meet customers' needs is to run a distinguished beauty shop with distinct beauty techniques in consideration of individual lifestyle. This will help raise customer loyalty to beauty shops. This study has the important implication that personal characteristics as well as store attributes has been proved to be essential for increasing customer loyalty to beauty shops. I hope that future studies will continue to examine different marketing factors by different beauty shops, with additional analysis on the details, contributing to make a marketing strategy available for beauty shop owners.

In order to obtain and maintain competitive advantage, under rapidly changing maritime environment, liners should make efforts to reinforce their logistics service capabilities. Most of all, for this, shipping lines should accurately recognize and evaluate their logistics service attributes. In the present research, various logistics service attributes for ocean carriers were selected from previous studies and the observed data for 6 main service attributes were collected through a questionnaire survey to 31 maritime experts. Moreover, shipping lines' relative logistics service capabilities were measured by an additional survey process. The comparative gravity between core evaluation factors were measured by AHP technique and the relative capability levels of 2 Korean liners and 5 foreign shipping companies were assessed by utilizing a fuzzy model. The empirical result presents that Korean liners are superior at customer service capability but inferior at freight rate competitiveness. This research shows that Korean liners are ranked at high position for overall logistics service capabilities and focusing on the differentiation strategy but not on the cost related strategy.
This study compared the results of Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) on trail managerial conditions by trail section in Mudeung-Mountain Provincial Park. The study also examined the validity of using overall survey method (OSM: analyzing IPA from the data collected from all the trails without separating trails by section) by comparing the OSM results with those obtained from the survey by section. A total of 258 users who visited the Park was surveyed using questionnaire in the four designated trail sections during the September of 2000. The result of IPA showed that there are differences in twenty three attributes out of the 26 selected attributes (88.5%) among four trail sections. The overall IPA results obtained from the total of four trail sections were not the same with the IPA results from each trail section in twenty three attributes (88.5%) out of the 26 selected attributes. It suggests that we need to use a survey segmented by trail sections rather than a survey for overall trails to obtain better information for more efficient trail management.

As film products are increasingly used in a wide range of areas, from producing traditional flexible packaging to high-tech electronic products, a higher level of quality is demanded. Most film products are made in the form of rolled finished goods, therefore, various quality issues related to their shape characteristics must be addressed. The thickness of the film products is one of the most common and important critical-to-quality attributes (CTQs). Particularly, the degree of thickness uniformity is more important than other thickness parameters, because it will be potential causes of many secondary thickness-related quality problems, such as wrinkles or faulty windings. To control the degree of thickness uniformity, the fixed bending region is oneof the most important CTQs to manage. Fixed bending regions are special points in the transverse direction of a rolled product with consistent minute variations of the thickness gap. This paper describes the measurement and analysis of thickness uniformity data, which were performed in a real manufacturing field of biaxial oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film. In previous researches, quality function deployment (QFD) or fault tree analysis were used to find the most critical process attributes out to controlthe CTQ of thickness uniformity. Whereas, this paper uses traditional control charts to find the most critical process attributes out in this problem. In addition, the selection of one of the major critical process attributes (CTPs) that is expected to affect the CTQ of thickness uniformity is also described. The selected critical-to-process attributes are the controlled temperatures along the transverse direction. A dramatic improvement in thickness uniformity was observed when the selected CTPs were controlled.

A rectifying sampling plan which assumes a prior distribution on the lot percent defective is considered. This sampling is developed for finite lot size N with matching OC curves and generated from an initial plan selected from single sampling by attributes.
The objectives of this study were to (a) describe and quantify the socio-psychological outcomes of forest recreationist, (b) to describe the setting attributes facilitating the outcomes, and (c) to identify which attributes were most important to visitors. During the spring of 1995, 426 visitors from the Worak-san National Park selected for this study. This study identified nine resource attributes (physical, social and managerial), and twelve socio-psychological outcomes on the forest reccreation values. This study also determined that a significant linear relationship exists between resource attributes and visitors' experience outcomes. Use of information on the socio-psychological outcomes sought by recreationists is discussed. Such information would aid in the developing recreation inventory, selecting management tools and techniques, and in the differential economic valuation of recreation resources.
For composing the structure model of national maritime power system by system structural modeling, in this study, the 50 basic factors are selected by survey of the extensive and through literatures on maritime, sea, maritime power and sea power. And the basic factors are classified into 36 component factors by cluster method. The 9 attributes are extracted by the application of the principle component analysis method, one of the factor analysis method in system engineering, to component factors. In this study, we define the attributes composing the national maritime power system by integrating the result of this study and existed our studies relating to this topic. Which are showed in Table 2. and we show the structure model of national maritime power system in Fig. 3. In Table 2, the 9 attributes are as follows : the fundamental power of maritime, shipping and port power, naval power, fishing power, shipbuilding power, the power of ocean research and development, dependency on seaborne trade, the protection power of ocean environment and the will and inclination of govemment. Also, in the case of evaluating this system, we conform the importance of considering the interactions among the attributes which have strong interactions in structure model of national maritime power system.
