초등학교 수학과 수업에서 포트폴리오의 활용 가능성과 그 적용 방안에 관한 연구 (A study on the possibility and using method of portfolio in elementary mathematics class)

  • This study has two purposes. One is to know that it is Possible to use portfolio in the elementary math class. The other is to make a useful method for using portfolio. We got the following conclusion through the study. Portfolio gave students an opportunity that they could review their mathematical thinking. But it couldn't work very well for the low-level students. They didn't pay attention to the class. So, careful prepa-ration and training were necessary for the portfolio material. And the portfolio material must be prepared by appropriate contents. Teacher had to do math class by considering students ability. The math class could be much better for motivation, teaching-learning activity impro-vement and communication tool by using portfolio material. There are several imple-mentation processes in preparation, execution and utilization of the class. 1) Preparation: Teacher must decide if it is appropriate for portfolio by analyzing the course and textbook and set a final goal. And then teacher has to select an appropriate item and make a schedule for the class. The portfolio material must contain valuable things from which students learn mathematics and use in their life. The student level, utilization purpose and contents are considered when one prepares portfolio material. 2) Execution: Students are supposed to understand about the portfolio very well. It is important for them to get the opportunity for reviewing through math class diary, their opinion, friends opinion and teachers opinion. 3) Utilization: Parents review ameliorates the communication among teacher, student and parents about learning activity.

  • The objective of this paper is to develop an expert system for nuclear piping integrity. This paper describes the selection methodology of integrity evalution method and the inference of material properties. To select the integrity evaluation method, the weight factor for respective material properties was obtained by the sensitivity analysis of the effect of material properties on integrity evaluation method. Subsequently the possession ratio for respective integrity evaluation method was computed, and the most appropriate integrity evaluation method for given input information is selected. In the material properties inference, stress-strain curves and J-R curves were predicted from tensile properties such as yield strength and tensile strength.

파사드가 의류브랜드 점포이미지와 점포태도에 미치는 영향 (Fashion retail store facades and the creation of store image and store attitude)

  • Successful use of displays in stores arouses consumers' curiosity, and induces them to purchase a product after a visit. Facade is a word meaning an external front wall of a building, and is usually the first point of visual contact for the consumers. The present study is an empirical investigation of external appearance of a clothing store, with a $2{\times}2{\times}2$ factorial design of facade, show window, and wall surface material designed for the purpose of the study. Dependent variables were store image variables and attitude toward store. A total of 320 questionnaires from male and female consumers were used for the analysis. Facade type and material had significant main and interaction effects, while show window type had no meaningful effects overall. A facade of irregular design prompted significantly higher levels of perceived 'elegance', 'uniqueness', and 'attractiveness' of the store. Material itself did not have significant influence but did have significant interaction effect with facade design. The interaction effect was found in store attitude as well. In order to create a positive store attitude, a concrete material facade should have an irregular design. Companies owning fashion brands should carefully select facade type and wall surface material in the visual merchandising strategies of a store.

SCP-1재료 적용을 위한 초경재료 펀치의 내마모성에 대한 연구 (A study on the abrasion resistance of punching carbide material of die for the application of SCP-1 material)

  • Motor core products are used as materials for electrical steel sheets and cold-rolled steel sheets according to the performance of motors. The cemented carbide material of the mold punch applied to the motor core material causes many troubles due to abrasion and burr problem. The selection of these materials has a great effect on the production life, mass production, product quality as well as mold life. The cemented carbide applied to the products of the motor core is recognized as a very important part. In this study, cold rolled steel sheet was applied to motor core SCP-1 steel 1.0mm, and The effects of abrasion and punching oil on the shear process were investigated for the selection of cemented carbide. Experiments were conducted to select and apply cemented carbide only for the motor core punch optimized for cold rolled steel. The results showed that the cemented carbide material of $CDK3^{***}$ produced the least wear and burrs.

  • Plasma processing plays a significant role in semiconductor devices technology. Development of new plasma systems, such as high-density plasma reactors, required development of plasma theory to understand a whole process mechanism and to be able to explain and to predict processing results. A most important task in this way is to establish interconnections between input process parameters (working gas, pressure flow rate input power density) and a various plasma subsystems (electron gas, volume and heterogeneous gas chemistry, transport), which are closely connected one with other. It will allow select optimal ways for processes optimizations.

  • To select the proper material for lean concrete, the recycled aggregates produced by 3 crushers, such as jaw, impact and mill-treated, were investigated for the gradation and the compaction, and strength of concrete made of them. The experiments for all the recycled aggregates used, showed that the cylinders made of them had 7-day compressive strengths over 50kgf/$cm_2$, the provision of qualification, and the OMCs are in the range 5.7% to 6.8%. Also, the unit cement contents for the impact-crushed are 158kg/$cm_2$.

  • Thin labial plate will be resorbed after extraction. Immediate implantation cannot prevent soft and hard tissue loss. Bone graft can be necessary in the immediate implantation after anterior tooth extraction. Slowly-resorbed or non-resorbable bone graft material have many advantages in esthetic area because of maintenance of volume. The clinicians should select the adequate cases of immediate implantation according to the indication and contraindication.

  • The heavy downpour caused by unusual weather has destroyed a railroad bed. It caused a large amount of soil loss due to soil erosion. Hence, there is necessary to rehabilitate the destructed railroad bed as quickly as possible. Application of geotextile bag can standardize the rehabilitation process. Geotextile bag method can be more stable, faster, and more economical. In this study, the stress to geotextile bag was estimated to select the appropriate geotextile material. Geotechnical characteristics of geotextile were also determined.
