복부 CT 영상에서 빠른 폐 분할을 위한 그래픽 하드웨어 기반 레벨 셋 기법 (Hardware-based Level Set Method for Fast Lung Segmental ion on CT Abdomen Image)

  • 본 논문에서는 복부 CT 영상에서 폐 부위를 빠르게 분할하기 위하여 그래픽 하드웨어를 사용한 레벨 셋 기법을 제안한다. 제안방법은 다음과 같이 세 단계로 구성된다. 첫째, 레벨 셋 기법을 그래픽 하드웨어로 효율적으로 구현하기 위하여 초기 레벨 셋 값 설정과 설정된 레벨 셋 값을 텍스처메모리에 저장한다. 둘째, 레벨 셋 기법의 가장 중요한 부분인 속도함수를 그래픽 하드웨어의 빠른 연산을 이용하여 계산하고, 레벨 셋 값을 갱신한다. 셋째, 갱신된 레벨 셋 값을 통하여 제로-레벨 셋을 찾는다. 본 논문에서는 제안 방법을 평가하기 위하여 일련의 복부 CT 영상을 사용하며, 육안평가 및 수행시간 면에서 기존 소프트웨어 기반 레벨 셋 기법과 비교분석한다. 실험결과 본 제안방법은 소프트웨어 기반 레벨 셋 기법과 분할결과를 동일하게 유지하면서 평균 9배 빠르게 폐 부위를 분할하였다.

  • In designing the prestressed concrete box-bridge, the dead load, prestressing force, creep and shrinkage of concrete are the main factors which influence the camber and deflection of segmental concrete structure under construction. Among these factors the creep and shrinkage are the functions of the time-dependent property which, therefore, must be considered with time. The prediction model for estimating creep and shrinkage of concrete has been suggested by ACI, CEB/FIP, JSCE and KSCE design code and EMM, AEMM, RCM, IDM and SSM has been suggested for analytical method in consideration of the time-dependent characteristics. In this study, the creep test was carried out for four curing ages of concrete which were applied to the prestressed concrete structure at a construction site, and the results of test were compared to the values of creep prediction by the design code. Also the creep test of step-wise incremental stresses were performed and were compared to analytical methods.

  • In the precast segmental method of construction, segments of a structure are precast, assembled, and tied together by post-tensioning to form the structure. Shear strength and behavior of points in precast concrete structures are important problems in the design of these structures. An experimental program was set up study the shear behavior of precast concrete shear keys. experimental models of keyed joints include a single key, representing one of a series include the shear key shape, d/h ratio(1/4, 1/5, 1/7), and inclined angle (45。 60。 75。). Two different types of joints, i.e., epoxied joint and dry joints were studied. From the present tests, it is found that epoxied joints have higher shear strength than those of dry joints, and that high d/h ratio keys have higher shear strength than those of low d/h ratio keys. The keys with 60。-inclined angle shows the highest shear strength among various angles.

  • The Synchronous reluctance motor is a sinewave ac motor and it has cylindrical surfaces on both sides of the air gap. The stator is a conventional polyphase ac stator, while the rotor has internal flux barriers shaped to maximize the ratio of d-axis to g-axis reactance. This paper presents the finite element analysis and parameter measurement of the synchronous reluctance motor(SRM). The model motor is a 3-phase SRM with the segmental rotor and its rating is 0.175kw. The torque characteristic is analysed by finite element method and compared with that from measurement.

Performance assessment of precast concrete pier cap system

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the performance of precast concrete pier cap system. The proposed precast pier cap provides an alternative to current cast-in-place systems, particularly for projects in which a reduced construction time is desired. Five large-scale pier cap specimens were constructed and tested under quasistatic monotonic loading. The computer program, RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology) was used for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures. A bonded tendon element is used based on the finite element method, and can represent the interaction between the tendon and concrete of a prestressed concrete member. A joint element is used in order to predict the inelastic behaviors of segmental joints with a shear key. This study documents the testing of the precast concrete pier cap system under monotonic loading and presents conclusions and design recommendations based on the experimental and analytical findings. Additional full-scale experimental research is needed to refine and confirm design details, especially for actual detailing employed in the field.

  • This study investigates the dynamic characteristics of Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM), with segmental rotor structure, using finite element method in which the moving mesh technique is considered. The focus of this paper is the efficiency of on-line parameter identification system for position sensorless control of a SynRM under saturation and iron loss. Comparisons are given with angle of the observer and those of proposed FEM & Preisach model of synchronous reluctance motor, respectively. The position sensorless control using identified motor parameters is realized, and the effective of the on-line parameter identification system is verified by experimental results.

Ultrasonic Velocity and Absorption Measurements in an Aqueous Solution of Poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate)

  • Both the ultrasonic velocity at 3 MHz and the absorption coefficient in the frequency range from 0.2 to 2 MHz were measured for aqueous solutions of poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) over the concentration range from 5 to $25\%$ (by weight). The pulse echo overlap method was employed to measure the ultrasonic velocity over the temperature range from 10 to $90^{\circ}C;$ the high-Q ultrasonic resonator method was used for the measurement of the absorption coefficient at $20^{\circ}C.$ The velocities exhibited their maximum values at ca. 55, 59, 63, 67, and $71^{\circ}C.$ for the 25, 20, 15, 10, and $5\%$ solutions, respectively. The velocity increased with respect to the poly(sodium 4-styrene-sulfonate) concentration at a given temperature. A study of the concentration dependence of the both the relaxation frequency and amplitude indicated that the relaxation at ca. 200 kHz is related to structural fluctuations of the polymer molecules, such as the segmental motions of the polymer chains and that the relaxation at ca. 1 MHz resulted from the proton transfer reactions of the oxygen sites of $SO_3.$ Both the absorption and the shear viscosity increase upon increasing the polymer concentration, but they decrease upon increasing the temperature.

시공단계를 고려한 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 사장교의 비선형 해석 (Nonlinear Analysis of Segmentally Erected Prestressed Concrete Cable-Stayed Bridges)

  • 본 논문에서는 평면 PC 사장교의 시장교의 각 단계를 고려할 뿐 아니라 재료의 비선형성은 물론 기하학적 비선형도 고려하는 해석방법을 제시했다. 재료의 시간의존적 특성들로는 콘크리트의 크리프, 건조수축, 강도증가와 PC 강재 및 케이블의 이완을 고려했다. 시공중의 각 단계를 표현하기 위해 시공명령어를 정의하여 임의의 해석단계마다 하중과 경계조건의 변화, 구조계의 변화와 가설장비의 이동을 고려했다. 본 해석방법을 실제적인 PC 사장교의 해석에 적용하여 시공의 진행에 따른 PC 사장교의 비선형거동 및 응력과 변형의 변화를 검토했고 또한 시공단계를 고려한 해석에 있어서 재료의 시간의존적 특성이 끼치는 영향을 검토했다.

모바일 기반의 동작 추적 기법을 이용한 감시 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of Surveillance System using Motion Tracking Method based on Mobile)

  • 본 논문에서는 영상분할에 의한 동작 추적 기법을 이용하여 침입자를 감시하고 관련 정보를 모바일 기반으로 확인하도록 하였다. 먼저, 탐지하고자 하는 일정한 영역을 촬영한 동영상에서 프레임을 추출하고, 인접한 두 프레임 사이의 이미지 차를 사용하여, 고정된 배경과 움직이는 대상을 분할한다. 분할된 전경 물체에서 에지를 검출하여 지정된 위치별로 추출된 에지의 중간 값을 추정하여 동작을 분석함으로써 침입자를 감시할 수 있도록 하였다. 동작이 검출되면, 영상은 WAP 풀 기반 영상 전송 방법을 사용하여 모바일 클라이언트로 전송한다.
