  • Recently, Cyber Physical System (CPS) is one of the core technologies for realizing Internet of Things (IoT). The CPS is a new paradigm that seeks to converge the physical and cyber worlds in which we live. However, the CPS suffers from certain CPS issues that could directly threaten our lives, while the CPS environment, including its various layers, is related to on-the-spot threats, making it necessary to study CPS security. Therefore, a survey-based in-depth understanding of the vulnerabilities, threats, and attacks is required of CPS security and privacy for IoT. In this paper, we analyze security issues, threats, and solutions for IoT-CPS, and evaluate the existing researches. The CPS raises a number challenges through current security markets and security issues. The study also addresses the CPS vulnerabilities and attacks and derives challenges. Finally, we recommend solutions for each system of CPS security threats, and discuss ways of resolving potential future issues.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of microcomputer networking on user perception of potential threats to security employing user attitudes as a moderating variable. A research model consisting of microcomputer networking as the independent variable, user perception of potential threats to security as the dependent variable, and user attitude toward security control as the moderating variable was developed through literature review. The results of this study provide an empirical evidence of the importance of environmental change(information systems networking) on user perception of potential threats to security. Further-more the result imply that in order to improve security performance through the reinforcement of user perception of threats to security in the organization, user attitudes should be made favorable.

  • In this paper, we analyse security threats and security requirements about the designated PC solution which restricts usable PCs that are only an user own PCs or a registered PC for online banking or very important services. Accordingly, causable threats of the designated PC solution are classified a process, a network layer, a software module, and an environment of platform, and we draw security requirements based on analysed security threats. Results of this research are considered utilization of criteria for improving security of the designated PC solution and standards for giving hint of imposition of the designated PC solution.

  • This paper performs a historical review on aviation threats through a statistical survey. The impact factor, as a criterion to measure the seriousness of the threats occurred, is introduced and evaluated based on annual totals of hijacking and fatalities against aircraft 1948 through 2004. Also, the paper suggests processes of evaluating the level of threats and key functions for an effective management of the aviation security.

  • The emergence of new technologies and devices brings a new environment in the field of cyber security. It is not easy to predict possible security threats about new environment every time without special criteria. In other words, most malicious codes often reuse malicious code that has occurred in the past, such as bypassing detection from anti-virus or including additional functions. Therefore, we are predicting the security threats that can arise in a new environment based on the history of repeated malicious code. In this paper, we classify and define not only the internal information obtained from malicious code analysis but also the features that occur during infection and attack. We propose a method to predict and manage security threats in new environment by continuously managing and extending.

  • Cloud computing is a distributed computing model that has lot of drawbacks and faces difficulties. Many new innovative and emerging techniques take advantage of its features. In this paper, we explore the security threats to and Risk Assessments for cloud computing, attack mitigation frameworks, and the risk-based dynamic access control for cloud computing. Common security threats to cloud computing have been explored and these threats are addressed through acceptable measures via governance and effective risk management using a tailored Security Risk Approach. Most existing Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) schemes for cloud services use a converse thinking approach to develop theoretical solutions for minimizing the risk of security breaches at a minimal cost. In our study, we propose an improved Attack-Defense Tree mechanism designated as iADTree, for solving the TRA problem in cloud computing environments.

  • Recently, there has been a lot of studies and efforts to strengthen the stability of critical infrastructures against increasing cyber attacks to critical infrastructures. In this thesis, I defined what cyber threats are, after showing you various definitions about what cyber threats are and what the types are. After studying about significant cyber threats from China, I showed you the realities of cyber threats with the analysis about starting points, types of cyber threats, ratios of attacks and so on. At last, I defined guidelines about unnecessary oversea IP range blocking. Also, I proposed unnecessary oversea IP range blocking methodologies with per information system and per network system. Furthermore, I proposed blocking characteristics per security equipment and security operation improvement and blocking effects and service process to normal oversea users.

  • In this study present the theoretical background and major trends in which cyber threats are securitization through the discourse process. In particular, this study explained based on the theory of Copenhagen school, which is critical of the security of cyber threats. And presented the security of non-traditional threats and the security of emerging security issues, which explained the process of security for cyber threats, based on existing research, and explained the limitations to this. And tried to provide a cautious point of view that the militarization phenomenon of cyber threats that is currently displayed is a phenomenon that is displayed through the combination of technical discourse and military discourse. Through this study, we aim to show the military the limits of universal solution presentation and the borderline perspective of militarization based on objective insights into the cyber threat security process.

  • Recently, new types of security crimes have been steadily occurring in Korea due to environmental changes such as the development of IT technology, and responding to these threats has become a key national task for the establishment of a safe society as well as individuals and businesses. Meanwhile, as the Zero-Contact Era has arrived since the COVID-19 Pandemics, a new convergence security threat that combines the characteristics of the Zero-Contact Era with the existing IT development is threatening our society. Research to prevent and correct these new levels of threats is continuously required in this study. Chapter 1 examined the causes of new convergence security threats and Chapter 2 discussed cybersecurity, fake news, remote voting·work and video security threats as five major threats.
