As more users use mobile devices, shoulder surfing attacks have emerged as an important issue in security. According to research report, in fact, the result showed that about 30% of smartphone users are hit by shoulder surfing attacks. To this end, in this paper, we consider a shoulder surfing attack and propose a partially hidden password system to resistant to its attack. In order to help readers understand, we describe the proposed password system in more detail using one simple example. The core idea behind the proposed system is to place the user's password randomly in the specified grid instead of entering a password directly. As a result, even if an attacker makes a shoulder surfing attack to observe the password, the user can hide the preset password and defend against the attack. We also show how the security of the password system proposed in this paper is improved. In addition, even if there are consecutive shoulder surfing attacks, the security of the proposed password system is robust.

Due to the popularity of smartphones and the simplification of financial services, the number of mobile financial services is increasing. However, the security keypads developed for existing financial services are susceptible to probability analysis attacks and have security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we propose and implement a security keypad based on dual touch. Prior to the proposal, we examined the existing types of security keypads used in the mobile banking and mobile payment systems of Korean mobile financial businesses and analyzed the vulnerabilities. In addition, we compared the security of the proposed dual touch keypad as well as existing keypads using the authentication framework and the existing keypad attack types (Brute Force Attack, Smudge Attack, Key Logging Attack, and Shoulder Surfing Attack, Joseph Bonneau). Based on the results, we can confirm that the proposed security keypad with dual touch presented in this paper shows a high level of security. The security keypad with dual touch can provide more secure financial services, and it can be applied to other mobile services to enhance their security.

Analyzed about a matter and requirements to intimidate security of ubiquitous and home network threatening various security for personal information protection in ubiquitous home networks at this paper, and studied. Got authentication procedures and verification procedures acid user approach to be reasonable through designs to the home security gateway which strengthened a security function in the outsides, and strengthened protection of a home network. Also, execute a DoS. DDoS, IP Spoofing attack protective at home network security gateways proved, and security regarding against the Hacker's attack was performed, and confirmed. Strengthen appliances and security regarding a user, and confirm a defense regarding an external attack and present a home network security model of this paper to the plans that can strengthen personal information protection in ubiquitous home networks in ubiquitous home networks through experiment.

Existing research on security technology related to network attack response has focused on research using hardware network security technology, network attacks that wiretap and wiretap network packets, denial of service attack that consumes server resources to bring down the system, and network by identifying vulnerabilities before attack. It is classified as a scanning attack. In addition, methods for increasing network security, antivirus vaccines and antivirus systems have been mainly proposed and designed. In particular, many users do not fully utilize the security function of the router. In order to overcome this problem, it is classified according to the network security level to block external attacks through layered security management through layer-by-layer experiments. The scope of the study was presented by examining the security technology trends of edge routers, and suggested methods and implementation examples to protect from threats related to edge router-based network attacks.

With the development of digital instrumentation and control (I&C) devices, cyber security at nuclear power plants (NPPs) has become a hot issue. The Stuxnet, which destroyed Iran's uranium enrichment facility in 2010, suggests that NPPs could even lead to an accident involving the release of radioactive materials cyber-attacks. However, cyber security research on industrial control systems (ICSs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems is relatively inadequate compared to information technology (IT) and further it is difficult to study cyber-attack taxonomy for NPPs considering the characteristics of ICSs. The advanced research of cyber-attack taxonomy does not reflect the architectural and inherent characteristics of NPPs and lacks a systematic countermeasure strategy. Therefore, it is necessary to more systematically check the consistency of operators and regulators related to cyber security, as in regulatory guide 5.71 (RG.5.71) and regulatory standard 015 (RS.015). For this reason, this paper attempts to suggest a template for cyber-attack taxonomy based on the characteristics of NPPs and exemplifies a specific cyber-attack case in the template. In addition, this paper proposes a systematic countermeasure strategy by matching the countermeasure with critical digital assets (CDAs). The cyber-attack cases investigated using the proposed cyber-attack taxonomy can be used as data for evaluation and validation of cyber security conformance for digital devices to be applied, and as effective prevention and mitigation for cyber-attacks of NPPs.

Password-based authentication is the protocol that two entities share a password in advance and use the password as the basic of authentication. Password authentication schemes are divided into weak-password and strong-password authentication scheme. SPAS protocol, one of the strong-password authentication scheme, was proposed for secure against DoS attack. However it has vulnerability of the replay attack. In this paper, we analyze the vulnerability to the replay attack in SPAS protocol. Then we also propose an Improved-Strong Password Authentication Scheme (I-SPAS) with secure against the replay attack.

In this paper, we analyse the security of the variant of Self-Shrinking generator proposed by Chang et al. against a guess-and-determine attack. This variant, which we call SSG-XOR is claimed to have better cryptographic properties than the Self-Shrinking generator in a practical setting. But we show that SSG-XOR is weaker than the Self-Shrinking generator from the viewpoint of guess-and-determine attack.

The related-key attack is regarded as one of the important cryptanalytic tools for the security evaluation of block ciphers. This is due to the fact that this attack can be effectively applied to schemes like block-cipher based hash functions whose block-cipher keys can be controlled as their messages. In this paper, we improve the related-key attack on lightweight block cipher PRINCE proposed in FSE 2013. Our improved related-key attack on PRINCE reduces data complexity from $2^{33}$ [4] to 2.
The internet is already a part of life. It is very convenient and people can do almost everything with internet that should be done in real life. Along with the increase of the number of internet user, various network attacks through the internet have been increased as well. Also, Large-scale network attacks are a cause great concern for the computer security communication. These network attack becomes biggest threat could be down utility of network availability. Most of the techniques to detect and analyze abnormal traffic are statistic technique using mathematical modeling. It is difficult accurately to analyze abnormal traffic attack using mathematical modeling, but network simulation technique is possible to analyze and simulate under various network simulation environment with attack scenarios. This paper performs modeling and simulation under virtual network environment including $NGSS^{1}$ system to analyze abnormal traffic-flooding attack.

Typical security solutions such as intrusion detection system are not suitable for detecting advanced persistent attack(APT), because they cannot draw the big picture from trivial events of security solutions. Researches on techniques for detecting multiple stage attacks by analyzing the correlations between security events or alerts are being actively conducted in academic field. However, these studies still use events from existing security system, and there is insufficient research on the structure of the entire security system suitable for advanced persistent attacks. In this paper, we propose an attack path and intention recognition system suitable for multiple stage attacks like advanced persistent attack detection. The proposed system defines the trace format and overall structure of the system that detects APT attacks based on the correlation and behavior analysis, and is designed with a structure of detection system using deep learning and big data technology, etc.
