정보보안수준 계량화 연구 (A Study on the Quantification of Information Security Level)

  • This study presents an information security level index and a quantification scheme. A comprehensive survey on previous researches in information security checklists has been performed. A candidate indicator list for information security level has been developed, Desirability of each indicator has been tested by 4 criteria, They are general validity, relative importance, probability of accident and impact of accident. 67 experts' opinion has been collected and analysed. The result shows that selected indicators are a very good candidate set for the determination of information security level. A factor analysis shows indicators are well structured. There exists strong correlation between validity and probability, validity and impact, and importance and probability. A quantification scheme of information security index has been developed by experts' judgement and statistical tests.

  • The mission of the police as described by law is to guard the life, body and property of all citizens. Such duties should be accurately performed based on legal and democratic procedures because the works of the police are directively influencing the overall lives of the citizens by restricting their freedom. We are frequently watching the traffic police on the street or road. Traffic policing aims to reduce crime and the opportunities for criminal activity in relation to the use of roads, that is to improve road user behavior in order to reduce accidents. The characteristics of traffic accident change is not similar in each traffic condition. The purpose of this study is to analysis a type characteristics of traffic accident change, such as number of deaths and wounded persons by the time, the vehicle, the type the road, the age group. Based on the characteristics of traffic accident change, traffic accident countermeasures are proposed, in which some variable of traffic policies such as traffic facilities, traffic regulation, and traffic safety education.

  • In January, 2005, the "Railroad Safety Act" was presented, preparing the systematic equipment that allows several railroad operators to consider the railroad safety issue, and each of the railroad operative institutions accepted such situation that the construction of the emergent system of coping, resulting in the construction of the emergent system of coping with the railroad fire accident through the relevant study to improve the railroad security efficiency against fire. This study tried to present the on developing the emergent educational program for coping with the KTX fire accident, which is distributed to the spot, to the railroad emergency staff for improving the railroad security efficiency against fire through the education of systematic and efficient emergent countermeasure procedures against fire accidents the fire accident in KTX.

  • The LPG station's explosion at Bucheon city was a major accident which with rare frequency of occurrence but large damage effect. Therefore, to prevent similar accident in the future from LPG chargings stations which located at inner urban area, it needs to identify the damage effects of such facilities by comparing theoretically quantities risks-PHAST. The BLEVE effects from the accident showed similar level in case of heat flux, however, the over pressure level reflected at reduced distance. The structure damage to the nearby area showed comparatively large reduction of concrete strength and shape changes through by heat effect while the overpressure effect was small.

안전체험관 설립을 위한 시민의식 조사 연구 (A Study on Citizens' Consciousness of the Establishment of Experience-oriented)

  • This study aims at investigating basic safety consciousness as preprocessing of the establishment of experience-oriented safety education center in which citizens can have positive and active experience education, based on the data for which the investigators have investigated and analyzed such citizens' safety consciousness as awareness, consciousness and feedback of national safety accident, systematic prevention of safety accident and necessity of first-aid when safety accident happens, focused on citizens in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do where more than 1/3 of the national population live, for the purpose of establishing experience-oriented education center where citizens can be taught to prevent accidents wisely, picking up experiences of large or small accidents up to now. And the findings from the study support the followings : 1) Ordinary people think that danger factors have prevailed in our entire society, and fear that the danger may come to them directly.2) Ordinary people's consciousness of safety accident is low, that is because selfishness and 'take-it-easy' manner have prevailed in our entire society. 3) Ordinary people have the dread of safety accident individually, but they don't know how to deal with safety accident when it happened. 4) Although most people have taken lessons about safety accident, they still feel the need to have systematic education about safety accident. 5) Children and survey-respondents are highly concerned with prevention of safety accident, but there were few people who sent their children to 'safety accident prevention program by outside institute', still less they didn't participate in the above program. And especially they complained a lot about safety education conducted by school. 6) Most people truly felt the need that they should have experience-oriented safety education center to be able to see, hear and experience. The considerations (or suggestions) resulting from the above findings from the study will turn out that people will need such recreation facilities, rest and play space that the family can enjoy as space for the prevention of safety accident, appliance for field lesson and space for developed program, and in light of visitors' convenience, safer and more convenient vehicle service will have to be offered.

보안 JPMP-SID Tag를 활용한 사고 상황 ID 기록 시스템 설계 (Design of Accident Situation ID Recording System using JPMP-SID Security Tag)

  • JPMP SID Tag는 센서 모듈을 이용한 물리적인 정보보호 기능을 제공하는 보안센서태그로써 저장되는 데이터의 복제 및 위조가 불가능한 특징을 가진다. 따라서 JPMP SID Tag저장되는 데이터의 진정성, 무결성, 원본성을 가지게 되어, 데이터의 보안이 요구되는 곳에 응용될수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 JPMP SID Tag가 가지는 물리적 보안 특징을 활용하여 사고 원인 규명이 필요한 도난 및 차량 사고를 대상으로 하여 디지털 증거를 획득 및 보호하고자 하는 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 제안 시스템에서는 JPMP SID Tag의 접근 제어를 위한 2차적인 제어로직을 구성하여, 제안 시스템의 소프트웨어 보안을 보완하고자 하였다.

군 통합보안시스템 구축 방안 연구 (A study on method of setting up the defense integrated security system)

  • 군의 정보화, 과학화 추진에 따른 환경 변화에 따라 기존 수작업, 오프라인 중심의 제반 군사보안 업무도 효율적이고 체계적인 업무 수행을 지원할 수 있도록 변화와 발전이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 주요 군사보안 업무 분야에 대한 실태 및 문제점 분석과 미국, 영국 등의 사례 분석을 기반으로, 주요 군사보안 업무를 자동화, 정보화하기 위한 국방통합보안시스템 구축 표준 Model을 제시하였다. 표준 Model은 통합보안체계, 비밀관리시스템, 인원출입 시스템, 차량출입시스템, 첨단경계시스템, 테러 예방시스템 및 보안사고분석시스템 등의 단위 시스템으로 구성되며, 현재 가용한 기술 및 시스템을 기반으로 제안하였는데, 이를 각급부대에 적용할 경우 군사보안 발전에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

  • 급격히 증가하는 사이버 침해사고의 수사에 디지털 포렌식 기술과 도구들이 많이 사용되고있다. 하지만 대부분의 디지털 포렌식 증거의 식별 및 수집 도구는 매우 어려운 통합도구이거나 간단하지만 기능이 미흡한 도구들이 주로 사용되고 있다. 이로 인해 공공기관이나 민간 기업의 침해사고 수사시 중요한 디지털 증거들이 누락되거나 훼손될 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 윈도우 시스템을 기반으로 'Log Parser'을 이용한 '사이버 침해사고 유형별 디지털 포렌식 증거 식별 및 수집 도구'를 제안하고 이를 이용한 사이버 침해사고 유형별 디지털 포렌식 증거의 식별 및 수집에 관한 방법론에 대해 논하고자 한다.

시설보안 운영수준 향상방안 (An Improvement in Level of Facility Security Operation)

  • 본 연구는 시설보안 운영수준을 평가하여 시설보안 향상방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구목적을 위하여 보안업무가 이루어지는 특정시설을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보안인력은 시설보안업무의 기본이 되는 중요한 요소인데, 조사대상 시설에 보안인력이 배치되어 있지만 시설의 특성에 맞게 보안인력을 적절히 운영하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보안인력의 직무교육 훈련 수준은 비교적 적절한 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 근무교대방식과 시설에 상주하는 임직원에 대한 서비스마인드 수준, 보안인력의 근무의지 수준이 적절하게 나타난 것과 관련이 있는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 보안상황실 운영이 잘 이루어지고 있지만 통제구역 설정과 출입자 통제 수준, 물품에 대한 통제 및 검색 수준, 차량통제 수준이 낮게 나타났다. 넷째, 보안업무를 위해 참고할 수 있는 보안업무매뉴얼의 활용수준은 보안계획서의 활용수준과 사고예방 및 대응매뉴얼의 활용 수준보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 시설보안을 향상시키기 위해 조사결과에서 수준이 낮게 평가된 보안인력 운영과 출입통제, 물품검색, 차량통제 및 주차관리, 화재 및 각종 안전사고에 대비한 조치 등에 관한 내용을 활용도가 높게 나타난 보안업무매뉴얼에 세부적으로 명시하여 수준이 높게 나타난 교육 훈련 수준을 활용할 수 있다.

Comparative Study of PSO-ANN in Estimating Traffic Accident Severity

  • Due to Traffic accidents people faces health and economical casualties around the world. As the population increases vehicles on road increase which leads to congestion in cities. Congestion can lead to increasing accident risks due to the expansion in transportation systems. Modern cities are adopting various technologies to minimize traffic accidents by predicting mathematically. Traffic accidents cause economical casualties and potential death. Therefore, to ensure people's safety, the concept of the smart city makes sense. In a smart city, traffic accident factors like road condition, light condition, weather condition etcetera are important to consider to predict traffic accident severity. Several machine learning models can significantly be employed to determine and predict traffic accident severity. This research paper illustrated the performance of a hybridized neural network and compared it with other machine learning models in order to measure the accuracy of predicting traffic accident severity. Dataset of city Leeds, UK is being used to train and test the model. Then the results are being compared with each other. Particle Swarm optimization with artificial neural network (PSO-ANN) gave promising results compared to other machine learning models like Random Forest, Naïve Bayes, Nearest Centroid, K Nearest Neighbor Classification. PSO- ANN model can be adopted in the transportation system to counter traffic accident issues. The nearest centroid model gave the lowest accuracy score whereas PSO-ANN gave the highest accuracy score. All the test results and findings obtained in our study can provide valuable information on reducing traffic accidents.
