In the cloud environment, IoT devices using sensors and wearable devices are being applied in various environments, and technologies that accurately determine the information generated by IoT devices are being actively studied. However, due to limitations in the IoT environment such as power and security, information generated by IoT devices is very weak, so financial damage and human casualties are increasing. To accurately collect and analyze IoT information, this paper proposes a topographic information-based key management technique that considers IoT information errors. The proposed technique allows IoT layout errors and groups topographic information into groups of dogs in order to secure connectivity of IoT devices in the event of arbitrary deployment of IoT devices in the cloud environment. In particular, each grouped terrain information is assigned random selected keys from the entire key pool, and the key of the terrain information contained in the IoT information and the probability-high key values are secured with the connectivity of the IoT device. In particular, the proposed technique can reduce information errors about IoT devices because the key of IoT terrain information is extracted by seed using probabilistic deep learning.
The Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem potentially includes heterogeneous devices with different processing mechanisms as well as very complicated network and communication models. Thus, analysis of data associated with adverse conditions is much more complicated. Moreover, mobile things in the IoT lead to dynamic alteration of environments and developments of a dynamic and ultra-large-scale (ULS) environment. Also, IoT and the services provided by that are mostly based on devices with limited resources or things that may not be capable of hosting conventional controls. Finally, the dynamic and heterogeneous and ULS environment of the IoT will lead to the emergence of new security requirements. The conventional preventive and diagnostic security controls cannot sufficiently protect it against increasing complication of threats. The counteractions provided by these methods are mostly dependent on insufficient static data that cannot sufficiently protect systems against sophisticated and dynamically evolved attacks. Accordingly, this paper investigates the current security approaches employed in the IoT architectures. Moreover, we define the dynamic security based on dynamic event analysis, dynamic engineering of new security requirements, context awareness and adaptability, clarify the need for employment of new security mechanism, and delineate further works that need to be conducted to achieve a secure IoT.

This paper presents a lightweight true random number generator (TRNG) using beta radiation that is useful for Internet of Things (IoT) security. In general, a random number generator (RNG) is required for all secure communication devices because random numbers are needed to generate encryption keys. Most RNGs are computer algorithms and use physical noise as their seed. However, it is difficult to obtain physical noise in small IoT devices. Since IoT security functions are required in almost all countries, IoT devices must be equipped with security algorithms that can pass the cryptographic module validation programs of each country. In this regard, it is very cumbersome to embed security algorithms, random number generation algorithms, and even physical noise sources in small IoT devices. Therefore, this paper introduces a lightweight TRNG comprising a thin-film beta-radiation source and integrated circuits (ICs). Although the ICs are currently being designed, the IC design was functionally verified at the board level. Our random numbers are output from a verification board and tested according to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards.

Today's Internet of Things (IoT) has had a dramatic increase in the use of various daily aspects. As a consequence, many homes adopt IoT technology to move towards the smart home. So, the home can be called smart when it has a range of smart devices that are united into one network, such as cameras, sensors, etc. While IoT smart home devices bring numerous benefits to human life, there are many security concerns associated with these devices. These security concerns, such as user privacy, can result in an insecure application. In this research, we focused on analyzing the vulnerabilities of IoT smart home cameras. This will be done by designing a new model that follows the STRIDE approach to identify these threats in order to afford an efficient and secure IoT device. Then, apply a number of test cases on a smart home camera in order to verify the usage of the proposed model. Lastly, we present a scheme for mitigation techniques to prevent any vulnerabilities that might occur in IoT devices.

As computer performance is leveled upward, the use of IoT systems is gradually expanding. Although IoT systems are used in many fields, it is true that it is difficult to build a safe system due to performance limitations. To overcome these limitations, many researchers have proposed numerous protocols to improve security issues. Among them, Azrour et al. except. We proposed a new efficient and secure authentication protocol for remote healthcare systems in a cloud-based IoT environment, and claimed that the new protocol could solve the security vulnerabilities of the existing protocols and was more efficient. However, in this paper, through the security analysis of the remote healthcare system in the cloud-based IoT environment proposed by Azrour et al., the protocol of this system was found to be vulnerable to Masquerade attack, Lack of Perfect Forward Secrecy, Off-line password guessing attack, and Replay attack.

The largest industry in the world is the medical industry, and due to aging and growing demand for well-being, it is necessary to review the competition strategy of the healthcare industry. We will secure competitiveness among medical institutions through the rapid dissemination of ICT convergence, study the intelligence level of digital health care by increasing the capacity of intelligent medical care by combining big data of medical data and artificial intelligence, And to find a countermeasure for constructing a medical optimization model.
As the 4th industrial age enters, the number of IoT devices is exploding. Accordingly, the importance of security is also increasing in proportion to the increasing number of security incidents of IoT devices. However, due to the limited performance of IoT devices, there are limitations to applying existing security solutions. Therefore, a new automatic firmware distribution solution is needed to solve this problem. To solve this problem, we propose a new automatic firmware update system that uses a hybrid blockchain that combines a public blockchain and a private blockchain. The public blockchain allows various firmware providers to distribute firmware using a common system. Private blockchain solves the transaction overload problem of the public blockchain and facilitates the management of IoT devices. It also uses distributed file storage to ensure high availability without failing. Therefore, this system is expected to be very effective for improving the security of IoT devices.
With the development of the Internet of Things (IoT), related network infrastructures require new technologies to protect against threats such as external hacking. This study proposes an L-PBFT consensus algorithm that can protect IoT networks based on a blockchain consensus algorithm. We designed a blockchain (private) model suitable for small networks, tested processing performance for ultra-small/low-power IoT devices, and verified stability. As a result of performance analysis, L-PBFT proved that at least the number of nodes complies with the operation of the consensus algorithm(minimum 14%, maximum 29%) and establishes a trust network(separation of secure channels) different from existing security protocols. This study is a 4th industry convergence research and will be a foundation technology that will help develop IoT device security products in the future.

In recent years, research has been actively conducted to solve overhead problems caused by the increase in the number of IoT devices. MQTT, one of the IoT lightweight protocols for resolving performance degradation in IoT environments, is standardized to enable efficient operation in many-to-many communication environments, but there is a security vulnerability as it does not provide encryption by default. Although TLS communication technology can be applied to solve these problems, it is difficult to meet IoT's lightweight power-saving requirements. This paper introduces the latest MQTT communication encryption trends and analyzes IoT applicability by comparing TLS encryption and payload encryption methods.
Recent advancements in the integration of satellite technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) have led to the development of a sophisticated network ecosystem, capable of generating and utilizing vast amounts of big data across various sectors. However, this integrated network faces significant security challenges, primarily due to constraints like limited latency, low power requirements, and the incorporation of diverse heterogeneous devices. Addressing these security concerns, this paper explores the construction of a satellite-IoT network through the application of Software Defined Networking (SDN). While SDN offers numerous benefits, it also inherits certain inherent security vulnerabilities. To mitigate these issues, we propose a novel approach that incorporates blockchain technology within the SDN framework. This blockchain-based SDN environment enhances security through a distributed controller system, which also facilitates the authentication of IoT terminals and nodes. Our paper details the implementation plan for this system and discusses its validation through a series of tests. Looking forward, we aim to expand our research to include the convergence of artificial intelligence with satellite-IoT devices, exploring new avenues for leveraging the potential of big data in this context.
