중등학교 가정과 교사들의 주거개념에 대한 중요도 인지 및 주거학 교육방법에 관한 연구 - 부산시를 중심으로 - (Scondary home economics teachers' opinions reganiding importance of teaching verious housing concepts and use of teaching method and media)

  • This study was designed to identify the problems in teaching housing course at secondary level. The main tasks of Investigation were to: (1) identify appropriate housing concepts to be taught at secondary school, (2) determine the Kinds of media and methods used for teaching housing course at secondary school. The questionnaire was divided Into three sections: (1) the teacher`s background, (2) the teacher`s opinion regarding the importance of various housing topics to teaching. (3) what type of media and methods were used by teachers. Data were collected In Pusan during November 1959. The Sample, 150Home Economics teacher was randomly selected from secondary school list in Pusan. Responses from 122 Home Economics teachers, were processed by the S.P.S.S. computer program. and N.P.E.R.C using for frequency counts and percentages to analyze the data from all three sections of questionnaire. One-way Analysis of Variance and Newman-kuels Multiple Comparison test were used to reject or accept the hypotheses. The major findings were: (1) there were some difference between teachers` opinions regarding the importance of various housing topics to teach and teachers actural practice of teaching housing concepts and topics, (2) teachers taught housing concepts which were important to teach by their opinion, even though those concepts were neglected in textbook, (3) teachers did not use a various of media and methods for their teaching housing class, (4) the important reasons given why the teachers for not using the various media and methods were because of undesirable educational situations, and (5) there were some significant differences between teachers` background and teachers` opinion regarding importance of teaching topics in housing class at secondary school, using media and methods.

의료정보의 2차 이용을 위한 국내 비식별화 대상 정보에 관한 연구 (Study on National Protected Health Information for Secondary Use and De-identification)

  • 최근 국내와 국외에서 의료정보의 2차 활용에 대한 관심이 대두되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 법안이나 지침 등을 보았을 때 의료정보에 특화되어있다고 말할 수 있는 것은 지난 2012년 보건복지부와 행정안전부에서 발표된 '국내 의료기관 개인정보보호 가이드라인'정도로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 이 가이드라인도 의료정보에서 개인정보보호관련 법률에 저촉되는 것만을 제시하고, 의료정보 2차 활용을 위해 제거해야할 비식별화 대상 정보를 명확히 정의하고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 의료정보 2차 활용을 위한 비식별화 지침을 제공하고 있는 미국의 HIPAA(Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) Privacy Rule, 국내 의료기관 개인정보보호 가이드라인과 국내에서 연구된 문헌들 그리고 영국과 일본에서 제시하는 의료정보 활용 방안 대해 알아보고, 각각에서 제시하는 비식별화 대상 정보를 비교하여 국내 환경에 적합한 새로운 비식별화 대상 정보를 제안하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시한다.

수학교사의 교과서 및 교사용 지도서 활용도 조사 (Secondary Mathematics Teachers' Use of Mathematics Textbooks and Teachers' Guide)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 수학교사가 수업을 구성하고 교사학습을 실행하는 과정에서 교과서 및 교사용 지도서를 어떻게 활용하는지를 탐구하는 것이다. 24명의 현직 교사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했으며 이들 중 두 명의 교사를 선정하여 인터뷰를 진행하였다. 설문자료와 인터뷰 자료를 분석한 결과 수학교사들은 교육과정의 결정자로서 문서화된 교육과정이 의도된 교육과정으로 전이되는 과정의 주체로 참여하고 있었으며 수업목표, 수업내용, 평가내용 선정과정에서 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 활용 정도가 비교적 높게 나타났다. 그에 반해 교수법, 평가방법 선정과정에서의 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 활용정도는 높지 않았다. 이와 함께 학생들의 성취도 수준, 참여도, 수학에 대한 관심도, 가정환경, 입시제도 등 수업을 구성 계획하는 과정에서 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 활용에 영향을 미치는 여러 요인을 확인 할 수 있었다.

중등학교 과학 교사들의 탐구 과정의 활용 정도와 가설에 대한 인식 (The practical use of process skill and the perception about hypothesis by secondary school science teachers)

  • 중 고등학교 현장 과학 교사들을 대상으로 7차 교육과정의 탐구 과정 요소의 활용 정도와 가설에 대한 교사들의 인식을 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 실사하였다. 조사 결과 교사들은 자료해석을 가장 많이 활용하였으며 다음으로 결론 도출을 많이 활용하였다. 가장 활용 빈도가 낮은 것은 가설 설정이었으며 다음으로는 자료 변환이었다. 이러한 결과와 더불어 교사들이 가장 활용하기 힘들다고 응답한 탐구 과정 요소는 가설 설정이었으며 자료 변환, 변인 통제가 그 뒤를 이었다. 가설 설정은 현장에서 활용 빈도가 가장 낮으며 교사들이 가장 활용하기 힘들어하는 탐구 과정 요소로 나타났다. 가설에 대한 교사들의 인식 조사 결과 많은 교사들(63.1%)이 가설에 대해 바르게 진술하였으나, 구체적인 문제 상황에서 가설을 바르게 선택하는 교사의 비율(5.0%)은 매우 낮게 나타났다. 현장에서 가설 설정 수업의 가능성에 대한 교사들의 인식 조사 결과 90%이상의 교사들은 중학교 이상에서 가설 설정 수업이 가능하다고 보았다. 그러나 실제로 과학교사들은 가설 설정을 현장의 과학 수업에 활용하는 것을 어려워하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 현재 중등학교 현장에서 거의 활용되지 않고 있는 가설 설정 관련 수업이 가설에 대한 적절한 정의와 수업 전략이 주어진다면 가능하다는 것을 의미한다.

On Power Allocation Schemes for Bi-directional Communication in a Spectrum Sharing-based Cognitive Radio System

  • This paper presents the results of an investigation into bi-directional communication in spectrum sharing-based cognitive radio (Bi-CR) systems. A Bi-CR system can increase the spectral efficiency significantly by sharing the spectrum and through the bi-directional use of spatial resources for two-way communication. On the other hand, the primary user experiences more interference from the secondary users in a Bi-CR system. Satisfying the interference constraint by simply reducing the transmission power results in performance degradation for secondary users. In addition, secondary users also experience self-interference from echo channels due to full duplexing. These imperfections may weaken the potential benefits of the Bi-CR system. Therefore, a new way to overcome these defects in the Bi-CR system is needed. To address this need, this paper proposes some novel power allocation schemes for the Bi-CR system. This contribution is based on two major analytic environments, i.e., noise-limited and interference-limited environments, for providing useful analysis. This paper first proposes an optimal power allocation (OPA) scheme in a noise-limited environment and then analyzes the achievable sum rates. This OPA scheme has an effect in the noise-limited environment. In addition, a power allocation scheme for the Bi-CR system in an interference-limited environment was also investigated. The numerical results showed that the proposed schemes can achieve the full duplexing gain available from the bi-directional use of spatial resources.

  • The rapid development of communication equipment and information processing technology has led to a constant improvement in cordless communication. Lithium ion batteries used in cellular phones and laptop computers, in particular, have been in the forefront of the above revolution. These batteries use high value added raw materials and have a high and stable energy output and are increasingly coming into common use. The development of the material for the negative terminal has led to an improvement in the quality and efficiency of the batteries, whereas a reduction in the cost of the battery by researching new materials for the positive anode has become a research theme by itself. These long life batteries, it is being increasingly realized, can have value added to them by recycling. Research is increasingly being done on recycling the aluminum case and the load casing for the negative diode. This paper aims to introduce the current situation of recycling of lithium ion batteries. 1. Introduction 2. BMS 정밀도 향상을 위한 셀 밸런싱용 션트 고정저항의 허용오차 저감 방법 (A Method of Reducing a Tolerance of a Shunt Resistor for Balance of the Battery Cell to Improve a Precision of BMS)

  • Recently, due to the rapid development of electric vehicle and energy storage system, it is emphasized for battery management system to be needed and to be improved. BMS carries out various movement for optimization the use of the energy and safe use of secondary battery, these movement of BMS start at high wattage shunt fixed resistor which performs a function for detecting current among the BMS components. In addition, for the safe operation of secondary battery, the reliability of current voltage variation detected from shunt should be secured, and for corresponding characteristics, the quality of Temperature coefficient of resistance for BMS shunt and the quality of Thermo electromotive force all must be excellent. For these reasons, this study comes up with the stabilization plan for thermo electromotive force and temperature coefficient of resistance of BMS shunt resistor which is key to secondary battery operation.

Alternative Strategies to Central Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning

  • Central heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) is one of the largest consumers of energy in the residential sector. This project explores the use of multiple HVAC units and/or Zoning in a single residence to reduce energy loads. The energy consumption data of a detached single-family home using two HVAC units, one primary for the main house and a secondary HVAC for a casita, was collected for the same month for two consecutive years, along with details related to the outdoor temperature and the square footage being air-conditioned by each HVAC. A regression algorithm was trained using the above details to find the relation between the parameters. Next, based on the occupancy and usage patterns, the HVAC was redesigned assuming more area under the secondary HVAC unit. The trained algorithm was then used to make energy usage predictions for the revised primary HVAC area, with the assumption that the secondary HVAC unit was turned off. The results were compared with existing energy usage data. It was determined that there were significant energy savings in the second scenario. It is expected that this study and its findings will help future research projects explore more ideas as alternatives to central HVAC, in improving the economic viability of existing options, and in developing a savings calculation tool that will help consumers make informed decisions on their best alternatives to central HVAC.

THE PRE-SERVICE SECONDARY TEACHERS' PRESCRIPTION FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS' ERRORS IN LINEAR FUNCTIONS

  • This study was subjected to 9th graders after making a conformity analysis about errors in function from a selected linear function domain learned in 8th grade, and using this we analyzed some errors learners have in the linear function domain. Learners showed the most deficiency in mastery of prerequisite facts concepts out of errors in linear functions and lack of skill in interpreting the content of the questions and technical errors occurred often as well. How the pre-service secondary school teachers prescribed these errors of linear function was analyzed from the point of problem solving strategies, accessing methods and whether or not the learner's error was used. Looking into the pre-service secondary teachers' prescription of the learners' errors in 3 fields, for the problem solving strategy a procedural strategy was used more than a conceptual strategy, and as for the accessing methods over 90% gave teacher led type explanations to the students. Also over 90% of pre-service secondary teachers did not use the learner's errors that turned up in problems.

A New Approach to Surface Imaging by Nano Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry

  • Many of the complex materials developed today derive their unique properties from the presence of multiple phases or from local variations in elemental concentration. Simply performing analysis of the bulk materials is not sufficient to achieve a true understanding of their physical and chemical natures. Secondary ion mass spectrometer (SIMS) has met with a great deal of success in material characterization. The basis of SIMS is the use of a focused ion beam to erode sample atoms from the selected region. The atoms undergo a charge exchange with their local environment, resulting in their conversion to positive and negative secondary ions. The mass spectrometric analysis of these secondary ions is a robust method capable of identifying elemental distribution from hydrogen to uranium with detectability of the parts per million (ppm) or parts per billion (ppb) in atomic range. Nano secondary ion mass spectrometer (Nano SIMS, Cameca Nano-SIMS 50) equipped with the reactive ion such as a cesium gun and duoplasmatron gun has a spatial resolution of 50 nm which is much smaller than other SIMS. Therefore, Nano SIMS is a very valuable tool to map the spatial distribution of elements on the surface of various materials In this talk, the surface imaging applications of Nano SIMS in KBSI will be presented.
