중등학교 환경교과 선택현황에 기초한 환경교육 확산방안 (The Spreading Strategy of Environmental Education Based on the Status of Selecting Rate of Environment Subject in Secondary School)

  • This study aims to explore the ways in spreading and maturing of environmental Education(EE) in secondary school. To deal with this issue, researchers investigate the actual conditions of EE and grope for the ways in spreading and maturing of EE. According to investigation, the selecting rate of environment subject in secondary school is about 3%(compared selecting rate of other subject matters) in 2003. Based on the result, this study suggests followings. First, sequencing strategy of EE curriculum will be expected very efficaciously. Secondly, there is need to empasize daily experiences of EE beyond the formal subject matter. Thirdly and ultimately, thers is need to reform school curriculum centered EE. Moreover, there is need to empasize teacher education for the environment not only pre service but also in-service teacher training.

  • The theoretical rationale and basic materials for the improvement of the recognition on home economics teachers are suggested in this study through the close examination of the teacher’s recognition and its related variables. For this study, review of literature and questionnaire survey were performed. As the results, the following may be suggested. 1. There teachers more experienced and non-majored the home economics or those who finished professional course should be reeducated adequately for new direction of home economics education in secondary school and new curriculum. 2. The development of qualification for home economics teacher and the educational system and program for training preliminary should be try to find a solution to improve the new and positive recognition of home economics education in secondary school. 3. The institutional and environmental conditions, such as pay and welfare facilities, should be improved to satisfy home economics teacher with new view of home economics education in secondary school with their duties. 4. The systematic and concrete teaching programs for contents of improving new recognition of home economics education in secondary school, and for promoting positive self-recognition as home economics teacher, and for training the abilities of developing teaching materials and guiding practical techniques should be developed.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of perceptions and images of teachers about engineering, according to practical training in laboratories of engineering research institutes. For this purpose, 149 elementary and secondary school teachers were surveyed before and after visiting the engineering research institutes and examined the perception of engineers and engineering. Through this teacher training program, perceptions and images of most teachers are changed positively and they can understand practically about engineering, and related fields. The results of this study can be used as basic data for the development, operation, and expansion of teacher training using advanced science and technology research institutes with excellent human and material resources.

  • This study purpose is extract on the architectural principles and architectural planning direction for Integrated Secondary School. The integrated secondary school has an expectation of the total education environment in which has some problem as regional, teaching, treatment, establishment equipment part because of the based relative establishments are abolished. The expectations are the education effective rising, the reduce of the responsibility of the teacher, a smooth teacher placing and saving the educating estimate. As the new education course propulsion is raising the school and students discretion and expanding the way of educating, being close to the course of studies, the integrated operation is earnestly needed and such as these versatile background the small school will keep on getting integrated. Investigate about the senses of the manager and teachers, so after these reserch I've concluded these things below about the integrated secondary school.

Research on the Characteristics of Science Subject Matter Knowledge (SMK) and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) of Primary School Teachers in Classroom Teaching

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate characteristics of science content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge shown in the primary school science classes. Through analysis of classroom teaching, explore the features and differences between primary and secondary school science PCK. Using open-ended interviews with the teachers and group discussions on a regular basis to analyze and compare classes of five primary school teachers, the relationship between CK and PCK. Regardless of the school level the teacher's PCK and professionalism is required with varying focus and emphasis. The features of the primary school teacher's PCK are as follows: Firstly, elementary teach secondary teach content, teachers value pedagogical knowledge (PK) content knowledge (CK). The primary school PCK requires more of understanding of students and teaching methods that to subject areas. PCK be without content knowledge, and the teacher's PCK is subject-specific In addition to the characteristics of PCK in the primary school science teaching, ways to set up professional exchange or collaboration between primary and secondary teachers, and to provide supplementary in-service training focused on content knowledge for primary school teachers.

중.고등학교 가정과 교육목표에 대한 필요평가 (Needs Assessment of the Purposes of Korean Secondary School Home Economics Education)

  • The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the rank of purposes of Korean secondary school home economics education related to three systems of action: technical, communicative, and emancipatory action by home economics(HE) teachers and HE teacher educators, (2) to compare differences between HE teachers and HE teacher educators concerning the degree of importance and achievement of the purposes of current Korean secondary school HE education. Respondents in this study were 225 HE teachers and 35 HE teacher educators. The survey method was used in this descriptive study. To determine the rank, Borich's needs assessment model was used. The data were analyzed by using t-test to compare the differences between the two groups. To promote a good life and the full development of human beings, to develop creative and critical thinking, to make morally defensible judgments, and to develop self-esteem were needed purposes for Korean secondary school HE education. Overall, the most high ranked purpose needs for both groups related to emancipatory action. The two groups were significantly different on the degree of the importance of evaluating family and social conditions, acquiring the skills needed as a wage earner and a homemaker, developing creative and critical thinking, and demonstrating proficiency of homemaking work. The teachers and teacher educator groups were significantly different on the degree of the achievement of making morally defensible judgments, understanding Korean traditional culture, and taking care of each other.

Research on the Critical Factors Affecting Taiwan Secondary School Teachers' Initial Acquisition of Formal Teaching Position

  • This research treated the secondary school teachers as the research scale and the research targets included the following: secondary school (employ unit), center of teacher education, and qualified teachers. In terms of these three groups of people, the topics of exploration focused on the perception of suitable teachers, perception of evaluation standard during the process of teacher examination and the relationship among teacher examination systems. The research was managed by two phases: the first phase referred to literature reorganization, expert interview, the qualities and conditions of suitable teachers, important evaluation standard during the process of teacher examination and teacher examination system used; the second phase included questionnaire survey, employ school acquisition, the perception of centers of teacher education and qualified teachers toward the suitability condition and examination evaluation standard in the first phase and teacher examination system used. This research found out that as to the perception of suitable teachers, through data collection, there were six factors reorganized. The levels of their importance were as follows: education devotion, teaching capacity, class management, capacity to guide special students, capacity to communicate with the parents and the will to undertake administrative works. Noticeably, employee unit and centers of teacher education apparently valued class management more, compared with trained teachers; as to evaluation standard of examination, the analytical result found out that the perception of three groups were different in terms of the views toward educational works, written examination data, candidate's age, club experience at school and capacity to use multimedia support teaching materials. This research further proposed six suggestions for centers of teacher education and trained teachers: (l) employ schools considerably valued educational devotion; (2) trained teachers tended to neglect the importance of class management; (3) employee unit considerably cared about the new teachers' competence to use multimedia support teaching materials; however, trained teachers did not have the same view; (4) employee unit considerably cared about new teachers' views toward educational works as well as the candidates' ages; (5) generally speaking, trained teachers neglected the importance of club experience at school; (6) the data revealed that written examination data was not relatively important in terms of teacher examination.

가정교육과 교육과정과 가정과 임용고사의 연계성 분석 (Correlation between Curriculum and Employing Testing for Secondary School Teachers in Home Economics Subjects)

  • This study analyzes the teacher certification examination from 2014 to 2019. The research methods are summarized as follows. First, the questionnaire on tests conducted from 2014 to 2019 was divided into 'Teacher Eligibility Criteria', 'Assessment Area', and 'Evaluation Content Elements' for detailed analysis. Second, the examination for the 2019 school year from the 2014 school year compared the 2009 curriculum with the yearly question items in order to examine the correlation between the secondary school curriculum and test items. Third, this study examined the home economics department reflected in the curriculum of the five national universities. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, according to the results of the questionnaire survey conducted from 2014 to 2019, the field of Home Economics education showed the highest rate of 25% or more in all years. Second, in order to examine the correlation between secondary school curriculum and Home Economics test items, this study compared the results of the 2014 - 2019 school year examination with the 2009 curriculum. Third, as a result of analyzing the curriculum of the five universities of the National College of Education, the basic courses were properly established at all colleges of education. As a result, the correlation was high overall, even within subcategories, the rate of exams was high only incertain attendants and the frequency of exams was low at some attendants.

Analysis of Keywords and Language Networks of Pedagogical Problems in the Secondary-School Teacher's Employment Exam : Focusing on the 2019~2022 School Year Exam

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2019~2022학년도 중등교사 임용시험 교육학문제의 연도별 핵심어와 그 경향, 핵심어들의 언어네트워크를 분석하여 그 결과를 제시하는 것이다. 주요 연구방법론은 텍스트 마이닝 기법과 언어네트워크 분석방법이었으며, 분석프로그램으로는 KrKwic, Wordcloud Maker, Ucinet6, NetDraw 등이었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연도별 교육학문제의 상위출현빈도 핵심어는 교사, 학생, 교육과정, 수업, 평가 등의 기존 상위출현빈도 핵심어들이었으며, 최근 코로나 19 상황의 온라인수업 진행을 반영한 핵심어(온라인, 위키, 토의식, 정보 등)들도 추가로 등장하는 경향을 보였다. 4개년도 통합 텍스트에서의 상위출현빈도 핵심어는 학생(44), 교사(39), 수업(27), 학교(18), 교육과정(16), 온라인(10), 토의식(8) 등이었다. 둘째, 4개년도 상위출현빈도 핵심어들의 전체 언어네트워크는 상당한 수준의 밀도(0.566), 총연결수(492), 평균연결정도(16.4)로 분석되었다. 연결정도 중심성은 교사(199.0), 수업(197.0), 학생(185.0), 학교(150.0) 순으로 나타났으며, 매개 중심성은 교사(30.859), 수업(18.956), 학생(16.054), 학교(15.745) 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 중등교사 임용시험 수험생인 예비교사, 해당 시험 출제 관리하는 기관과 관련자, 중등학교 예비교사 양성기관의 교수자와 행정가들에게 고려해볼 만한 자료가 되길 기대한다.

Constructivist Reflection on the Training for Secondary Science Teachers in Korea

  • The enhancement of the quality of the teaching practice is a major factor in securing better schooling opportunities for students. In this article, initial teacher preparation of secondary school Earth science teachers, in-service science teacher education, and improving teacher policy are discussed. Data from in-depth interviews with exemplary science teachers were used to explore how to improve the quality of science teacher education in Korea. In terms of preservice teacher education, most exemplary teachers contended that teacher education programs should provide preservice teachers with practical knowledge by translating theory into practice. Their suggestions for how to improve in-service education are also discussed. Regarding directions of improving teacher policy in Korea, the teachers proposed an alternative teacher-promotion structure that incorporates the master-teacher position. Implications for introducing action research courses into teacher (re)education programs are also discussed.
