지형곡면해석에 의한 토공량 계산에 관한 연구 (A Study on Computing Pit Excavation Volume by Terrain Surface Approximation)

  • The calculation of earthwork plays a major role in the plan or design phase of many civil engineering projects, such as seashore reclamation; and thus, it has become very important to improve upon its accuracy. There have been common drawbacks to earlier methods of ground profiling, such as dialing with sharp corners or the grid points of any tow straight lines. In this paper, we prepose an algorithm for finding a terrain surface using the natural boundary conditions and the both direction spline method, which interpolates the given three-dimensional data by using spline. As a result of this study, the algorithm of the proposed two methods to estimate pit excavation volume should provide a better accuracy than Spot height, Chambers, Chen, or Lin method. Also, the mathematical model mentioned offers maximum accuracy in estimating the volume of a pit excavation.

제주시 탑동 수변공간 조성을 위한 기초연구 (Preliminary Study for the Waterfront in Jeju Topdong)

  • Jeju Topdong is a seashore but there are no relations to the waterfront. Since Topdong was developed and reclaimed by the capitalistic system so that topdong have a lot of problems as a waterfront. First of all, Topdong has no water-familiar as a waterfront that is because of high level concrete breakwater. And also Topdong has no identity in seashore buildings which are composed by fish restaurants, seashore theater, shops, hotels and otherwise buildings. From the above critical mind, in this study look to process of reclamation of Topdong and examine the current situations and problems. To recover water-familiar of Topdong, this study examine the case study on abroad waterfront cases and refer to these abroad cases for establishing desirable waterfront model of Topdong. From the analysis, this study propose the waterfront elements and schematic alternative plan for Jeju Topdong in order to recover the water-familiar as a waterfront and a seashore.

Comprehensive Tideland Reclamation in Korea and Transferbility of Its Development Strategies and Techniques to Developing Countries

  • In 1980 the Ministrv of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheies(MAFF) established the Long-term Tideland Development Scheme in the South-west Seashore Region. Since that time Korea has been developing comprehensive and innovative development frmaeworks in reclamation works and levelling up the potentialities of the donating country of internatioal cooperation in that field. And also, Korea has the well-organized governmental institutions for international cooperation in the development of tideland reclamation technologies such as RDC(Rural Development Corporation) for the field of agricultural engineering and RDA(Rural Development Administration) for the field of agricultural development. In Conclusion, it is ascertained that Korea has a good potentiality of aiding developing countries in the development of tideland reclamation, especially in agricultural development.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the spatial change of coastal area called Nampo-dong in Busan. And then the subject of research was chiefly concentrated upon the development of southern coast and the land-reclamation based on the commercial facilities after the opening port. There were various reclamation projects in the coastal area of Japanese settlement under the Rule of Japan. Busan Nambin Coast(Currently, Nampo-dong) was one of typical reclamation projects conducted in the southern seashore. Due to the characteristic of coastal area, fishery was developed well and the entertainment industry also grew rapidly with the characteristic of the short distance of urban centre. In this study, we investigated the process of reflecting the characteristic of spatial change that were pursued by communities at that time, particularly through the establishment and change of buildings.

모형시험에 의한 준설점토지반의 표층안정기법 연구 (A Study on the Shallow Improvement Method for Dredged Clay Fills by the Model Tests)

  • Recently, the hydraulic fill method is commonly used in many reclamation projects due to lack of fill materials. The method of hydraulic fill in reclamation is executed by transporting the mixture of water-soil particles into a reclaimed land through dredging pipes, then the dredged soil particles settle down in the water or flow over an out flow weir with the water. In the present study, to compare the soil and sand-mat mixed method with sand-air jet method for shallow improvement of hydraulic fills at southern seashore, the model tests were performed. Through the model test results, the behavior of surface as disturbance of desiccation crust is analyzed.

Hermite와 Spline 함수를 이용한 매립토공량 계산 (On the Reclamation Earthwork Calculation using the Hermite and Spline Function)

  • 토공량 결정은 토질역학, 고속도로적용, 운송공학, 많은 측량에 자주 요구된다. 토공량 계산은 해안매립공사 같은 대규모의 토목설계나 계획에 큰 비중을 차지하므로 토공작업의 정확도를 향상시키는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 3가지의 제안식(A, B, C)과 점고법 그리고 Chen 과 Lin법을 예제를 통하여 비교하였다. 그리고 주어진 3차원 자료를 스플라인 보간법을 이용하여 지형곡면을 양방향으로 보간하거나 자유경계조건에 의한 방법의 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 재래식방법의 수학적 방범은 절점에서 첨단점을 곡선화하는 일반적인 결점을 내포하고 있다. 이러한 결점을 피하기 위하여 새로운 방범의 수학적 모델로서 3차 스플라인 보간법을 적용하였다. 3차 스플라인 보간의 특성상 새로운 방법의 모형곡선은 지형단면과 부드럽게 잘 맞아떨어졌다. 이 연구의 결과 제안된 3가지의 방법의 알고리즘이 점고법, Chen과 Lin보다 더 정확한 결과를 나타내었다. 그리고 언급된 수학식에 의한 모형은 토공량 결정에 있어 최대의 정확도를 제시하는 것으로 판단된다.

해안매립을 위한 수평위치 결정에 관한 연구 (A study on horizontal positing for the seashore reclamation)

  • With the increase use of electromagnrtic distance measuring equiment, is is required that we need to study the higher dimensional applications and detail technical methods. The purpose of this paper is to improve the accuracy of ocean construction surveying and computer programming for determining of horizontal position of a quadrilateral by measuring line on traverse surveyng, trigulation and trilateration. Aa long distance measurements with high accuracy became possible by the apperance of EDM distance measuring instruments, we induced correct adjustment equation through angle condition and area conditionequation. After that we compared and experimental model. From its a result of the practical applicationto quadrilateral, it has been found that its triangulation and traverse surveying algorithms provide better accuracy than trilateration.

소성된 항만준설토의 포졸란 반응성 분석 (Pozzolan Activity of Heat-treated Dredged Sea Soil)

  • Large amount of dredged sea soil is produced in southeast seashore region in during harbor maintenance. Disposal of dredged sea soil has become difficult due to the environmental regulation. Therefore, disposal of dredged sea soil method is to landfill. But, the capacity of the landfill limit state and if the size of the dredged sea soil is in the range of silt or clay, it cannot be used as reclamation material because ground subsidence occur. In this study, analyzed the pozzolanic activity of dredged sea soil. Analysis of the results showed a pozzolanic activity of dredged sea soil. In addition, incorporation of heat treated dredged sea soil increase both 28 and 56 day compressive strength of mortar specimen.

A Study on the Pit Excavation Volume Using Cubic B-Spline

  • The calculation of earthwork plays a major role in the planning and design phases of many civil engineering projects, such as seashore reclamation; thus, improving the accuracy of earthwork calculation has become very important. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for finding a cubic spline surface with the free boundary conditions, which interpolates the given three-dimensional data, by using B-spline and an accurate method to estimate pit-excavation volume. The proposed method should be of interest to surveyors, especially those concerned with accuracy of volume computations. The mathematical models of the conventional methods have a common drawback: the modeling curves form peak points at the joints. To avoid this drawback, the cubic spline polynomial is chosen as the mathematical model of the new method. In this paper, we propose an algorithm of finding a spline surface, which interpolates the given data, and an appropriate method to calculate the earthwork. We present some computational results that show the proposed method, of the Maple program, provides better accuracy than the method presented by Chen and Lin.

  • 서해 연안의 개발은 갯벌의 감소로 해양생태계를 위협하고 있으며 산업화에 따른 대형 매립공사는 주변의 기상변화와 해상변화를 일으켜 해저지형 및 해안선에 많은 변화를 발생시키고 있다. 또한 선박의 안전한 입, 출항을 위한 항로에 영향을 주고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 해도에 나타난 기준선인 최저저조면의 해양 기준면을 기초 자료로 사용하여 육지부분의 해안선과 갯벌의 경계로 나타나는 0m경계선, 수심2m선을 수치화 하였으며, 수치화 된 도면을 4개의 구역으로 구분하여 분석함으로써 신공항건설과 신도시개발, 방조제공사 등의 서해 연안 개발에 따른 해안과 해저의 변화 정도를 알아보았다.
