최근 정보통신기술의 발전으로 한정된 장소에서만 볼 수 있는 기존의 TV 서비스와는 달리 DMB 기술을 통해 이동하면서 언제 어디서나 TV를 즐길 수 있을 정도의 기술이 개발 되었다. 이러한 이동식 TV 서비스의 최신 기술인 Mobile IPTV 서비스의 기반이 되는 IPTV 기술에 대해 살펴보고 IPTV 기술의 장점인 양방향 서비스와 DMB 기술의 장점인 이동성을 결합시켜 언제 어디서나 양방향 TV 서비스를 받을 수 있는 기술인 Mobile IPTV 서비스에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 또한 Mobile IPTV의 문제점, Mobile IPTV의 추진현황 (서비스), Mobile IPTV 향후 방향에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 마지막으로 새롭게 제안된 고속의 중복주소 검사를 통하여 무선 환경에서 IPTV 서비스 단절을 최소화 시키는 방법을 설명한다.

본 논문은 고속철도 환경에서 이중 이동 라우터를 이용한 끊김없는 핸드오버 방안을 제안한다. 제안한 방안은 철도차량의 앞과 뒤에 두 개의 이동 라우터를 배치하여 핸드오버 수행시기 차이를 이용한다. 이중 이동 라우터 중 하나가 핸드오버를 수행하더라도 다른 이동 라우터가 계속해서 패킷을 수신할 수 있으므로 네트워크 전체적으로는 끊김없는 서비스가 가능하지만, 두 개의 이동 라우터는 논리적으로 하나로 동작하게 된다. 수학적 해석 및 시뮬레이션 결과 제안한 방안은 핸드오버 시 서비스 중단 시간 및 패킷 손실을 방지할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The proliferation of wireless local area networks (WLANs) offering high data rate in hot spot area have spurred the demand for possible WLANs and third-generation (3G) cellular network integration solutions as the initiative step towards 4G systems. This paper provides a novel architecture for seamless location-aware integration of WLANs into 3G cellular networks and also an analysis for the efficient handover techniques. We introduce location as a key context in secure roaming mechanism for context-aware interworking in 4G systems. The fast secure roaming with location-aware authentication is implemented at an entity called location-aware service (LAS) broker that utilizes the concepts of direction of user and pre-warming zone. The location-ware interworking architecture supports seamless roaming services among heterogeneous wireless networks including WLANs, wireless metropolitan area networks (WMANs), and 3G cellular networks. This paper also includes a description of procedures needed to implement efficient mobility and location management. We show how the LAS broker with pre-warming and context transfer can obtain significant lower latency in the vertical handover.

국내외적으로 방송과 통신이 융합된 형태의 서비스가 인터넷을 통하여 제공되고 있으며, 스마트TV를 통한 다양한 양방향 서비스가 제공되는 상황에서 제한적인 유무선 네트워크 상황에 적응하여 끊김 없이 콘텐츠를 제공하는 것이 멀티미디어 서비스의 핵심 요소라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷과 같은 대역폭이 유동적인 환경에서 끊김 없는 OHTV(Open Hybrid TV) 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 DASH(Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) 규격을 준수하는 콘텐츠 제작 시스템을 개발하였고, 기존 OHTV 서비스 플랫폼과 쉽게 연동하는 구체적인 방법을 제시하고 있다. 개발한 시스템은 OHTV 규격에 정의되어 있는 다양한 서비스 중에 IP VOD, 비디오 클립, 광고 서비스에 적용되어 네트워크 상황에 유동적으로 적응하여 안정적으로 끊김 없는 서비스를 제공함을 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

Mankind has been attempting to live a happy and safe family life in a residential space. Due to the advent of the mobile phone in the 1990s and the smart phone in the 2000s, when the information and communication age came, human life has been innovatively changed. The revolution of human civilization led to the Neolithic Revolution and the Iron Age, followed by a smart phone revolutionizing human life, and the revolution faces with the era of info-communication, smart phones became a daily life and the fourth industrial revolution. The fourth industrial revolution is an era of info-communication technology (ICT), creating a new paradigm across human life through technological developments such as artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, big data, mobile, and cloud. The smart home is actively researched in a direction to support the overall human life as a representative future residential culture paradigm. However, the study considering the needs according to the lifestyle, functional characteristics of each living space and human lifestyle of the Phono Sapiens era where smart phones live like daily life was relatively insufficient. In addition, research on smart home service design should be considered from the apartment residential space planning stage. Therefore, this study has significance in suggesting the direction of research on human-centered smart home service design considering the characteristics of each living space and resident's life-style in the smart phone era.

최근 들어 무선 네트워크 연동이 중요한 이슈로 부각되고 있으며, 대표적으로 3G 네트워크와 곧 도입될 예정인 WiBro 네트워크와의 연동에 관심이 집중되고 있다. 3G-WiBro 연동망이 구성될 경우 사용자는 서비스 지역에 따라 최적의 서비스를 제공받을 수 있으며, 사업자는 망 구축 및 운용비용을 절감할 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 3G-WiBro 연동망에서 고속 핸드오프 지원을 위한 효율적인 연동 구조 및 세부적인 연동 방안을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 Smoothly Coupled Integration 방안은 Loosely Coupled Integration 방안과 Tightly Coupled Integration 방안의 장점을 수용할 수 있으며, 아울러 3G 네트워크와 WiBro 네트워크가 개별적으로 동작하면서도 고속 핸드오프 지원을 통한 Seamless 서비스와 이동성을 제공할 수 있는 구조를 갖고 있다. 제안한 방안의 성능을 검증하기 위해 OPNET을 이용한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 이를 통해 제안한 방안의 우수성이 검증되었다.

본 논문에서는 무선망에서의 유연성 있는 핸드오버 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 핸드오버 기법은 가상연결 재 라우팅 기법과 가상연결 확장 기법의 장점들을 이용한 혼합방식이다. 기존의 혼합방식이 망의 구조에 의해 어느 한 기법이 결정되었던 것에 비해 제안하는 방식에서는 서비스의 특성에 따라 그 기법이 결정된다. 또한 가상연결 재 라우팅 기법 적용 시 멀티캐스팅 기법을 활용한 자원예약 방식을 통해 서비스의 끊김 현상과 핸드오버 지연을 최소화할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 본 논문에서는 성능분석을 위해 핸드오버를 위해 필요한 시그널링 메시지 수를 분석하고 시뮬레이션을 수행한다. 시뮬레이션 결과는 기존 핸드오버 기법들에 비해 제안하는 기법이 핸드오버 지연 및 서비스 품질보장 측면에서 보다 우수한 성능을 가짐을 보인다.

A service composition has received much interest to provide users with the ad-hoc, seamless, and context-sensitive services dynamically composed from various networked services in context-aware computing environments. In this paper, with the purpose of guiding trends in the researches for dynamic service composition technologies, we investigate and analyze the major related works. For this, we separate semantic based composition from syntax based composition and then establish the comparison criteria by dividing the service composition processes into 3 steps：definition, construction, and execution.

A hybrid ad-hoc network consists of a wired network and a mobile ad-hoc network connected by the internet gateway. To provide seamless service for internet user in hybrid ad-hoc network, an efficient internet gateway selection technique and a fast handover technique are needed. In this paper, we propose a seamless handoff technique for providing mobility of mobile hosts in hybrid ad-hoc networks. The proposed technique improves general handoff performance by an internet gateway re-registration algorithm for ad-hoc networks. Moreover, it reduces handoff processing time in the range of certain region by using mobility management agent (MMA) and also the packet loss when handoff occurs out of the range of MMA by tunneling technique.

This article introduces developing trends of an 'Ubiquitous Interface' as an access method for use of various network resources, such as public wireless networks and un-licensed wireless networks in ubiquitous sensor network environments, without troublesome settings or operations by users. 'Ubiquitous Interface' is a relatively wide sense meaning not only physical interface of specified device or between processors, but anything method for access USN. These 'Ubiquitous Interface' able to provide seamless services that adapt autonomously to the user's movements and changes in the state of wireless resources. Recently, strongly recommended current technologies are RFID, NFC, Multi-mode mobile terminal, UMA mobile terminal and Wearable computer as a future ubiquitous interface. These technologies are have to have flexibility and multiple physical communication channels for seamless service hand over and serve easy connection at huge USN to user. Also, they have to must have flexible software structure. Finally, through the 'Ubiquitous Interface', we will be experience of seamless communication and realize a real liberty of communication.
