This study aims to provide suggestions for software education in an afterschool program, deriving from the analysis of student experiences of working on Scratch team projects. This study reports on the implementation of the 12 week afterschool software education program in an elementary school, where students worked in pairs to learn Scratch programming from ideation to design and presentation. For an in-depth study of student-generated artifacts, we selected three groups' Scratch projects and conducted artifact-based interviews to unpack student experiences working on Scratch projects as a group. Adopting the computational thinking framework as an overarching analytical lens, we focused on examining student experiences from three dimensions of computational thinking (CT), namely, CT concepts, CT practices, and CT perspectives. The present study provides both theoretical and practical implications. Firstly, we demonstrate the feasibility of applying the CT framework for assessing student-generated artifacts in design-oriented software education. We also believe that this study provides important suggestions to future software education programs adopting CT as an overarching design and assessment framework.
2007 revised curriculum in primary schools by the educational programming should be carried out due to a number of practical constraints have been performed well. Elementary education program conducted by the EPL and Scratch Programming for haneunge was not long after the development of intuitive interface and blocks created using the syntax, contains multimedia elements, such as the benefits that can create artifacts due to the elementary education program is appropriate for. The researcher targeted the school for a semester, 4th year 12 weeks based on the results of scratch programming, programming by way of the Plan and the training and the results were analyzed. Scratch programming to increase student interest and enhance creativity and Formal help cultivate the scientific attitude can give you results. Scratch Programming for Elementary EPL Education is an effective lead of the students' prior knowledge or interest in sex by level of achievement because of the variation to allow individual learning needs to organize a program of study. And results in the production of sufficient thinking ahead and given time to discuss the purpose of education and programming will need to be alive.
In this study, we have investigated mechanical properties and scratch resistance of polypropylene compounds by two types of masterbatch with different molecular weight of PP. Masterbatches were prepared with polypropylene(PP) and polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS) by melt mixing. Mechanical properties and scratch behavior were examined with UTM and polarizing microscope. The morphology surface of grain pattern was investigated Color 3D Laser Scanning Microscope. Mechanical properties of two masterbatches containing PP compounds showed a little bit difference in accordance with amount of M/B. Scratch resistance was much improved by adding masterbatches used high-molecular weight PP. Scratch resistance was excellent when grain pattern of the surface is deep, large, round and irregular.

It is possible to increase integrated thinking and problem solving ability ultimately through STEAM education. This study developed STEAM model to apply to subjects and scratch knowledge education that sixth grade students in elementary schools can learn each subject through STEAM learning by applying scratch programming and it was applied and analyzed during regular classes and afterschool classes for sixth grade students. As a result, it was possible that about 70% of sixth grade students, the subject of model application were able to do STEAM learning initiatively by applying scratch program. Other 30% of the students were able to do STEAM learning partially through scratch. As for the achievement assessment of STEAM learning, it was evaluated that most of the students for the evaluation subjects got satisfactory achievement level by getting overall average 7.83 out of ten. Thus, it is considered that STEAM learning model by applying scratch is very superior that applying existing programming language such as C, BASIC etc.
The programming language is a core education area of software that is becoming increasingly important in the age of the fourth industrial revolution, but it requires mathematical knowledge and logical thinking skills, so that many local private university and college students with low basic skills are having difficulties learning it. This problem occasionally causes SW-major students to lose interest and confidence in their majors during the introductory course of programming languages; making them change their majors, or give up their studies. In this study, we designed an instructional model using Scratch for educating C-language which is a typical programming introductory language. To do this, we analyzed the concepts that can be trained by Scratch among the programming concepts supported by C-language, and developed the examples of Scratch for exercising the concepts. In addition, we designed an instructional model, by which the programming concepts are first learned through Scratch and then C-language is taught, and conducted an experiment on the SW-major freshman students of a local private university to verify the effectiveness of the model. In the situation where SW education is becoming common, we expect that this study will help programming language education of security IT students.

Scratch is Educational Programming Language, and it has been widely used in Elementary school SW Education. Many studies show that Scratch education is helpful for students' computational thinking and problem solving. However, the lower grade students use scratch less than the higher grade students, and the higher grade students have difficulty in understanding basic programming principles such as sequence, repetition, and condition. Therefore, in this study, we developed Scratch electronic blocks and programming education curriculum. We had classes for 2nd grade and 6th grade students, and it was confirmed that the score of 2nd grade students' interest about programming increased from 3.28 to 3.58 and 6th grade students' interest increased from 3.41 to 4.09. As a result of the programming basic principles understanding assessment, 84% of the 2nd grade students solved more than 7 of the 9 questions and 62% of the 6th grade students solved more than 7 of the 9 questions.
