A life insurance industry's market is reaching a state of saturation recently, and the competition is as time goes by intense among the non-life insurance industry. Consequently, the insurance companies must grope a new source of revenue and develop a new business model for a stability growth. At the forked road, the insurance companies must group the existing and new customers in order to find the royal customers, and develop a new service with them. Accordingly, it is the time to study the advance of PB field and the royal customer management that will maintain and expand the new relations with them. Besides, the PB was the service to begin in needs of the specific group, but now it is regarded as a new source of high profit in the age of universal financial service among the financial circles. As a consequence, the PB marketing is introduced in haste, and such trend seems to be continued. Therefore, the plans that help the domestic insurance company reflect the characteristic of the insurance and expand the scope of business into the scope of property management according to the needs of customers under a universal financial service trend will be studied.

The Korean government makes an effort to raise the competitive power of nation through CM activation in the construction industry. Since the first CM service was applied to the atomic power plant project in 1986, the number of CM contracts are continuously being increased and will be up to 20% by 2002 in public sector. However, the public projects had been executed without any procedure manual or standard guideline of CM services. Meanwhile the Ministry of Construction and Transportation issued $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$, but the guide shows an indefinite description in the responsibility, authority and scope of activity for the project participants. Therefore, it is required the procedures be improved and scope of activities be established for the project participants. This study was generated from the comparative analysis of $\ulcorner$Standard CM Services and Practice$\lrcorner$ Published by CMAA and domestic $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$ and the case of Incheon International Airport construction. The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data for an improvement in the procedures of project execution and the construction manager's activities/rolls shown on $\ulcorner$CM Service Guide$\lrcorner$

Delays in completing construction projects have significant financial and social impact to all parties involved in the construction process and in particular in developing countries. This is very evident in most construction projects in Libya and in both public and private sectors. The research study was initiated by Libyan Government and the main aim of the project is to develop a new strategy in reducing the impact of delay factors. In order to achieve this, a number of objectives have been set-to conduct a comprehensive literature survey, to conduct a comparative study of the delay factors in project completion in both Libya and UK using semi structured questionnaire and finally, to identify and analyse the causes of delay and ranked them using frequency of occurrence and severity. The critical causes of delay for construction projects were quite different between Libya and UK. For the former, the most critical causes of delay in Libyan construction industry were low skills of manpower, changes in the scope of the project, slowness in giving instruction and poor qualification of consultant, while for the latter they were financial problems, bad weather conditions on the job site and change in the scope of project. Statistical experiments including Paired Samples T-Test, was run to test the significance of the survey data in both countries Libya and UK. The statistical results confirmed the collected data from the survey were significant.

이 연구는 과학기술분야 정부출연연구기관(이하 '과기출연')에서 생산하는 연구관리기록물의 관리 필요성을 제기하고 '관리 매뉴얼(안)'을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 과기출연의 기록물 관련 규정을 수집하고 연구관리 총괄담당자를 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 시행하였다. 조사 결과 연구관리 담당자 및 담당부서 배치율(100.0%)에 비해 기록물관리 전문요원(33.3%~50.0%) 및 기록관리부서 배치율(23.1%)은 저조했다. 기록물관리규정 제정율은 26.4%였고, 73.7%의 기관이 문서관리규정 혹은 사무관리 규정만으로 기록물을 관리했다. 연구관리기록물은 규정된 수집범위 없이 기관 역량에 따라 수집되며, 기록물 누락 훼손 망실 대비책 또한 미진했다. 연구관리기록물의 생산현황을 파악하지 않은 기관도 있었다. 이에 대응방안으로 '관리 매뉴얼(안)'을 제시하여 기록물관리 전문요원 배치, 기록물관리 담당부서의 설치, 생산현황 통보를 의무화하고 기록관에 준하는 시설 장비 설치를 권장하였다. 덧붙여 표준화된 수집범위를 제시하고, 연구관리기록물 관리 방법을 구체적으로 기술하였다.

The issues of “Integration” in quality management and related fields have been discussed for a few years. Literature review reveals that this is a large and multi-disciplinary topic. Although there are many publications on this issue, very few well-cited articles show direct illustration to why, what and how to implement the “Integration” strategy in quality management. This paper presents a panoramic review and vision on “Integration” issues of quality management, in the perspectives of concept, scope, organization, information, process, and culture.

Local governments in South Korea are making efforts to promote highly effective policies through activating communication with citizens as a major innovation strategy. The performance evaluation system includes new performance indicators related to communication with citizens. This is a change to build a consumer-centered performance management system. The purpose of this study is to present guidelines when developing and applying the communication indicators promoted by local governments with interest. For this purpose, the development scope and management methods of the communication performance indicators are presented. For communication performance management, this study emphasized building a strategy planning based performance management system, presenting information that can be understood by citizens, complying with the development procedures of performance indicators, and improving qualitative indicators. In addition, for effective performance management, this study presented the decision-makers' strong willingness, gradual expansion of communication evaluation, establishment in organizational performance culture, and so on.

Organizations today depend and thrive on timely, accurate and strategically relevant information. Business analytics (BA) holds the key to many of these issues. This paper validates a model on how the usage of BA leads to operational efficiency. We identified the factors of basic analytical usage from the Business Capacity Maturity Model (BCMM). The scope of the study is restricted to the Information Technology Infrastructure and Application management domain. A survey was conducted among the managers of the IT companies in Bengaluru, India. The results showed a significant influence of data-oriented culture and BA tools and infrastructure on BA usage. We found a significant influence of BA usage and pervasive use on operational efficiency. The speed to insight is still not practised in organizations. The awareness level of analytical skills in organizations is very low.

PURPOSE: The law pertaining to medical service technologists does not discuss the scope and limits of doctors' guidelines. My paper aims to discuss these topics. METHODS: This study was based on a review of literature and an analysis of judicial precedents. RESULTS: Physical therapists have often noted the need for independent practitioners in their articles on health care. Their continued discussions on professional and educational differences have centered round this issue, but their ideas have not been accepted. Practitioners have continued to interpret doctors' guidelines in hospitals without discussing their scope. However, the Supreme Court presented a meaningful decision outlining the conceptual limits and the scope of medical practice. The court suggested, basing its interpretation in the goal of clarifying the concept of medical activities smoothly, was to follow a specific judgment on the levels of education, testing, and professionalism. CONCLUSION: The role of physical therapists is expanding in this country, in order to meet the needs of the ultra-aged society. Education is already responding to rising training needs. By dividing the doctors' guidelines into indirect and direct types, if there's no medical risk near or around the health center or hospital, it is a good idea to allow the management of physical therapy partially, while understanding the scope and limitations of these guidelines clearly. A teleological interpretation of the law is especially relevant, and can be implemented immediately by the authoritative interpretation on part of the health authorities without any legal amendments.

The purpose of this study is to confirm whether the fit between the task and the information characteristics makes any effects on the user satisfaction. The task is defined as two sub-constructs representing the degree of exception and analyzability. The information characteristics is divided into the degree of aggregation, scope and timeliness of information. User satisfaction was used as a surrogate measure of the performance of information systems. The computer self-efficacy was used to control any confounding effects. Field research method using questionnaires was employed to empirically investigate the relationship among the variables. Findings of the study are summarized as follows: the fit between the task and the aggregation of information and between the task and the scope of information turned out to have significant effects on information system performance. The implication of such results is that under highly exceptional or less analyzable task environment, less-aggregated or broad information is more appropriate.

Efficient using of web cache is becoming important factor that decide system management efficiency in web-Based system. Cache performance depends heavily on replacement algorithms, which dynamically select a suitable subset of objects for caching in a finite space. However, replacement algorithm on web cache has many differences than traditional replacement algorithm. In this paper, a web-caching algorithm is proposed for efficient operation of web base system. The algorithm is designed based on a divided scope that considered size reference characteristic and heterogeneity on web object. The performance of the algorithm is analyzed with an experiment. With the experiment results, the algorithm is compared with previous replacement algorithms, and its performance is confirmed ith an improvement of response speed.
