Agent Based Information Security Framework for Hybrid Cloud Computing

  • In general, an information security approach estimates the risk, where the risk is to occur due to an unusual event, and the associated consequences for cloud organization. Information Security and Risk Management (ISRA) practices vary among cloud organizations and disciplines. There are several approaches to compare existing risk management methods for cloud organizations but their scope is limited considering stereo type criteria, rather than developing an agent based task that considers all aspects of the associated risk. It is the lack of considering all existing renowned risk management frameworks, their proper comparison, and agent techniques that motivates this research. This paper proposes Agent Based Information Security Framework for Hybrid Cloud Computing as an all-inclusive method including cloud related methods to review and compare existing different renowned methods for cloud computing risk issues and by adding new tasks from surveyed methods. The concepts of software agent and intelligent agent have been introduced that fetch/collect accurate information used in framework and to develop a decision system that facilitates the organization to take decision against threat agent on the basis of information provided by the security agents. The scope of this research primarily considers risk assessment methods that focus on assets, potential threats, vulnerabilities and their associated measures to calculate consequences. After in-depth comparison of renowned ISRA methods with ABISF, we have found that ISO/IEC 27005:2011 is the most appropriate approach among existing ISRA methods. The proposed framework was implemented using fuzzy inference system based upon fuzzy set theory, and MATLAB(R) fuzzy logic rules were used to test the framework. The fuzzy results confirm that proposed framework could be used for information security in cloud computing environment.

Analyses of Expert Group on the 4th Industrial Revolution: The Perspective of Product Lifecycle Management (4차 산업혁명에 관한 전문가그룹 분석: 제품수명주기관리의 관점에서)

  • The smart factory is an important axis of the 4th industrial revolution. Smart factory is a system that induces the maximum efficiency and effectiveness of production using the IoT and intelligent sensing systems. The product lifecycle management technique is a method that can actively reflect the consumer's requirements in the smart factory and manage the entire process from the consumer to the post management. There have been many studies on product lifecycle management, but studies on how to organize product lifecycle management knowledge domains in preparation for the era of the 4th industrial revolution were insufficient. This study analyzed the opinions of a group of experts preparing for the 4th industrial revolution in terms of product lifecycle management. The impact of the 4th industrial revolution on the detailed knowledge areas of product lifecycle management was investigated. The changes in product lifecycle management were summarized using a qualitative data analysis technique for a group of experts. Based on the opinions of experts, the product lifecycle management, which consists of a total of 30 detailed knowledge areas, was prepared to supplement or prepare for the 4th industrial revolution. This study investigates changes in product lifecycle management in preparation for the 4th industrial revolution in the knowledge domain of the existing defined product life cycle management. In future research, it is necessary to redefine the knowledge domain of product life cycle management suitable for the era of the 4th industrial revolution and investigate the perception of experts. Considering the social culture and technological change factors of the 4th industrial revolution, the scope and scope of product life cycle management can be newly defined.

  • The realistic cases causing severe core damage should be analyzed and arranged systematically for preparing an accident management of the specific nuclear power plant. The objective of this paper is to establish basic technical information for reactor safety and reactor building integrity management strategies in CANDU reactor severe accident. For the development of severe accident management strategies, plant specific features and behaviors must be studied by detailed analysis works. This analysis scope will serve to cover overall methods and analyzing results to understand the reactor building integrity status in the most likely severe accident sequences that could occur at CANDU reactor. Also analysis results could help prevent or mitigate severe accidents for the identification of any plant specific vulnerabilities to severe accidents using the probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) quantified results.

  • Since 1990's, the Information Technology(IT) of combination between PC and Internet has progressed rapidly. As a fast development of Information Communication Technology and spreading of network, the previous economic state, the method of dealing, transaction object and a scope of transaction is changing. Like this, as raising of IT, the existing off-line commercial transaction is moving to electronic commercial one which based on the web. These days, a electronic distribution system of enterprise and the electronic commercial transaction between small company and customer is being operated, but there is no full developed proper system between small retailor and mid distribution center. So on this paper, the system which manage a simple marketing as well as Inventory Management & customer management will be presented.

  • EVM(Earned Value Management) is a management methodology for integrating scope, schedule and resources, and for objectively measuring project performance and progress. EVMS(Earned Value Management System) has been used for the performance measurement of R&D and construction projects in developed countries such as United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The nuclear power plant (NPP) projects in Korea have not applied EVMS. However, EVMS has come into request for overall schedule and cost risk management and performance measurement in overseas project of the nuclear power plant as a contractor. In this paper, based on the global EVMS guidelines, EVMS per unit processes have been developed for NPP projects. Moreover, using Business Process Management (BPM), it proposes an integrated process model with tasks, roles, and procedures for EVMS for NPP construction projects.

  • In the Aviation Safety Act, the part about fatigue management of Flight dispatcher was added as an amended law. Prior to the amendment of the Act, the regulations on fatigue of flight dispatcher governed by the FOM approved and reported by airlines according to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, but were enforced by law from June 9, 2021. In this study, the scope and work type of flight dispatchers are checked, and unlike flight attendants, it is intended to consider legal working hour management measures for flight dispatchers according to the enforcement of the fatigue management act.

  • Most recent programs in and out of the country are related to urban renewal projects. Contemporary project management information systems have been developed was to manage single or multiple projects focusing on their construction phase, and those have limitations to apply to large-scale complicated mega projects. So, this study explain the core concept of decision support modules for iPMIS (Intelligent Program Management Information System) and its major functions to support project owner and participants by introducing ontology in the web environment. This study confined the scope of research to the planning phase of urban environment improvement projects. Ontological logic structure and relation about planning works is essential parts and three functions to implement decision support module are developed.

  • Due to the development of modern technology and the enlargement of industrial scale, the scale of many projects is expanding and the complexity is also increasing. Individual management of existing projects cannot effectively manage projects in this trend, and it is necessary to systematically manage the entire process from initiation to completion. Accordingly, the need for integrated management and life cycle management that can efficiently manage the entire project is emerging, and for this, a systematic project management system is also required. PMS enables efficient project management by linking business processes such as resource, schedule, scope, and output management of a project with separately separated infrastructure accordingly. In this paper, a research model was proposed to manage the project from the perspective of implementing integrated management and life cycle management, especially during R&D project execution, and to prove the mediating role between PMS and R&D project performance for this purpose. The proposed research model will be able to help companies and organizations that feel the need to implement integrated management and life cycle management and are preparing to build a PMS-type system or that have already been established to efficiently perform project management.

  • The importance of a building management is embossed at construction industry and the concernment about a lengthening longevity and a efficient management of construction project is concentrated. At present, a study about maintenance management of existing building is progressed and normal papers concentrate in partial construction project for showing management method. This paper proposes Management method that make use of RFID/USN at the whole course of construction project that is composed plan, design, supply, construction, operation, maintenance management and so on. First of all, this paper analyzes process and applicable scope of RFID/USN at construction project. At each step, use scope, location, method and so on are decided at plan, design step and equipment, human power, materials and so on are established at supply step. real time progress, human power, safety, material, equipment management and so on put in operation at construction step and building is managemented real time by established sensor tag and wireless sensor network. This paper want to helps efficient project progress and management and presents convenience of maintenance management.

A Qualitative Research on Role Conflict Experiences of Clinical Dental Hygienists (치과위생사 역할갈등 경험에 관한 질적연구)

  • This study was based on the experience of dental hygienists' role conflict, and attempted to grasp the nature of the dental hygienist role conflict factor, constituent factor and coping. Giorgi's phenomenological method was used to analyze data collected through in-depth interviews with nine dental hygienists working in a dental clinic. The analysis revealed three central meanings: task scope, role conflicts, and role conflict management style and limitations. In the first category, task scope, the range of the legal scope, and the duties performed by the dental hygienist differed slightly. The second category included role conflict due to interpersonal relationship, work, work environment, competence, and identity as a professional because of role conflict. The third category included the role conflict management style and limitations. Dental hygienists tried to solve the role conflict situation through various efforts. In the face of the reality that the conflict is not solved despite such efforts, the dental hygienists felt the limitation and chose to leave. Dental hygienists are dissatisfied with their roles because of confusion regarding professional values and lack of awareness of the professional workforce due to differences between legal scope and actual practice. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a tool to quantitatively measure the level of role conflict in dental hygienists and to conduct follow-up studies on the effects of coping strategies by role conflict situations.
