안전의식수준이 안전행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 조직신뢰를 매개변수로(물류센터를 중심으로) (A study on the impact on the safety behavior of safety awareness level: Organizational trust as a parameter (focusing on the distribution center))

  • The purpose of this study is to understand how to affect the safety behavior to the organization's trustees to investigate the level of safety awareness, safety awareness via the distribution center workers prepare the logistics industry disaster prevention measures. The survey was analyzed data to target by the clothing distribution center employees of 182 people. Analysis First, the level of safety awareness showed on a positive effect on organization trust. Second, it was found on the safety level of consciousness a positive effect on the safety behavior. Third, the level of safety awareness affect the safety behavior showed that the mediating role of organization trust. That is a higher level of safety awareness, such as the strict practice of business activities, investments, safety rules on safety education and training emphasis on safety increases confidence in the organization. It was confirmed the higher the confidence in the safety organization appears behavior such as actively participating in the work carried out in a safe manner, safety education and training. In addition, the effect was mediated by the organizational impact on confidence in the safety of personnel safety awareness actions. Based on that research results prepared safety awareness was raised through the industrial accident prevention measures.

공동주택 전용화재시스템의 성능평가를 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Performance Evaluation of a Fire System for Apartment Buildings)

  • 국내 공동주택의 지속가능한 화재안전성능을 유지하고 확보하기 위한 대책은 일반 소방대상물에 비해 우수한 소방제품의 적용, 기술인력 확보, 관리실태 등에서 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 또한 화재 시 방호공간의 특성상 인명피해가 발생할 가능성이 높은 구조적인 문제점을 가지고 있다. 현재 공동주택에 설치된 화재시스템의 문제점은 각 세대에 설치된 화재감지기의 성능을 실시간 확인할 수 없으며, 경계구역이 세대별로 설정되어 있지 않아 정확한 화재발생지점을 파악하기 어렵고, 거주자가 화재발생을 확실하게 인지할 수 없는 상태로 안전한 대피를 하지 못하는 실정이다. 또한 세대 외부에서 스프링클러소화설비의 유수검지장치 작동성능시험을 할 수 없는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 개발한 원격화재시스템의 성능평가를 위하여 실험을 실시하였으며, 성능실험결과 모두 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 각 세대마다 세대경보장치를 설치하여 화재발생을 정확하게 경보할 수 있도록 하여 거주자가 신속히 대피할 수 있는 경보장치의 성능을 개선하였다.

건물 내부 화학사고를 가정한 모의 훈련 시나리오 설계 및 특수구조대원의 활동성 분석 (Designing the Training Scenarios that Assuming Chemical Accidents in the Buildings and Analyzing Activities of Special Rescue Crew)

  • 본 논문은 건물 내부 화학사고를 가정한 모의 훈련 시나리오 설계 및 특수구조대원의 활동성 분석에 관한 연구이다. 화학사고 발생 시 구조대원의 대응능력 향상 및 안전성을 확보하기 위해 2인 1조로 진행하는 총 8단계의 모의 훈련 시나리오를 설계하고 활동성을 측정하였다. 모의 훈련 시나리오에 따른 활동성 측정결과 구조대원의 전체 평균 최대 심박수는 4단계에서 177.50 ppm으로 가장 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 5단계 176.67 ppm, 2단계 171.17 ppm, 3단계 169.33 ppm, 6단계 162.17 ppm, 7단계 159.58 ppm, 8단계 148.75 ppm, 1단계 139.33 ppm 순으로 나타났다. 전체 평균 최대 호흡수는 4단계에서 38.17 rpm으로 가장 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 5단계 37.58 rpm, 6단계 32.00 rpm, 7단계 31.58 ppm, 3단계 31.33 rpm, 2단계 31.08 rpm, 8단계 28.00 rpm, 1단계 22.67 rpm 순으로 나타났다. 추가적으로 체수분 감소량 측정결과 훈련강도로 인해 최대 0.7 g까지 감소되는 것으로 측정되었다.

설문조사를 이용한 국내 소방 구급자동차의 안전성과 효율성 측면에서의 비교 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Comparative Analysis of Fire-Fighting Ambulances about the Aspects of Safety and Efficiency using the Question Investigation)

  • 본 연구는 119구급차 유형별 구조와 기능상의 문제점을 파악하여 구급차 내부 디자인을 보다 안전하고 효율적으로 개선하기 위한 조사연구이다. 4개 시 도의 구급대원 755명을 대상으로 2007년 영국 National Patients Safety Agency (NPSA)에서 개발한 환자 안전을 위한 미래 구급차에 관한 보고서와 이와 관련된 문헌고찰을 통해 수정 보완한 도구를 이용하였다. 설문지는 일반적 특성, 소방 구급차 내 안전성과 효율성 증진을 위한 디자인 개선을 위한 항목으로 구성되었다. 자료는 설문지를 전자우편 또는 직접 배포하여 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 통계처리하였다. 또한, 일반적 특성은 빈도분석, 백분율로, 구급차 내부 디자인 개선관련 항목은 카이제곱검증을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 승합차 개조 소방구급차에서는 내부공간이 좁은 문제와 화물차 개조 구급차에서는 승차감의 개선이 이루어져야 함을 도출하였다. 또한, 구급요원의 안전벨트와 구급요원의 처치 위치의 개선이 필요함을 알 수 있었다. 향후, 이와같은 결과를 토대로 소방 구급자동차의 많은 개선이 필요함을 제시한다.

IBA 사이클로트론 표적집합체에서의 잔류 방사화 분석 및 선량률 평가 (Evaluation of Residual Radioactivity and Dose Rate of a Target Assembly in an IBA Cyclotron)

  • 사이클로트론을 이용하여 $^{18}F^-$동위원소를 생산하는 경우 가속된 양성자 빔은 사이클로트론의 금속부품들과 반응하여 방사화를 일으킨다. 그 중에서도 빔과 주요하게 반응하는 표적집합체를 구성하는 표적실, 표적창에 장반감기의 핵종이 많이 발생한다. 이러한 표적집합체의 방사화 핵종을 잘 이해하는 것은 사이클로트론 운영자와 유지 보수 작업자를 위해서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 IBA(Ion Beam Application)사 사이클로트론 Cyclone 18/9 기기의 표적집합체 유지보수 작업자의 방사선 안전지침을 마련하기 위해서 사이클로트론 가동 후 표적집합체에 발생되는 주요 핵종을 분석하고, 또한, 사이클로트론 가동정지 직후부터의 선량감소율을 실험적으로 측정하였다. $^{18}F^-$동위원소 생산 후 표적집합체의 잔류 방사화 핵종의 종류 및 방사능농도를 확인하기 위하여, 표적실내 잔류물질 및 표적창 하버포일 시료를 채취하여 고순도 게르마늄(HPGe) 감마핵종분석기로 측정하여 분석하였다. 또한, 사이클로트론 가동직후 사이클로트론에서 발생되는 선량률을 시간에 따라 측정하였다. 감마핵종분석과 선량률감소에 대한 데이터는 추후 사이클로트론 운영의 방사선안전을 위한 데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

중소규모 사업장의 보건관리업무 수행관련 요인분석 (An Analysis of Factors Related to Performing Health Management Tasks at Small and Mid Sized Enterprises)

  • Background & Objectives: Health management is performed at enterprises under the Industrial Safety and Health Act. At small and mid sized enterprises, the reality is that health management is poorly performed due to the shortage of resources, professional knowledge, and administrative capabilities, as well as the lack of recognition by company presidents, and generation difference. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to Provide basic materials to complement the future health management model by researching the extent of performing health-related tasks at small and mid sized enterprises and analyzing the related factors. Methods: The survey subjects were 130 small and mid sized enterprises nationwide which had received health management support from the Korean government. The data were collected using a systematic questionnaire at the companies from September 2005 to November 2005. The respondents were the Personnel for healthcare tasks. Results: The results indicate that the extent of performing health management tasks at the companies was significantly different in the working environment and task management field in terms of industry types and in the fields of the establishment of an industrial health system as well as working environments and task management in terms of regions. Also, a multiple regression analysis was performed step-by-step in order to research the factors that affect the execution of health management tasks at small and mid sized enterprises.

Hormesis as a Confounding Factor in Epidemiological Studies of Radiation Carcinogenesis

  • Biological mechanisms for ionizing radiation effects are different at low doses than at high doses. Radiation hormesis involves low-dose-induced protection and high-dose-induced harm. The protective component is associated with a reduction in the incidence of cancer below the spontaneous frequency, brought about by activation of defensive and repair processes. The Linear No-Threshold (LNT) hypothesis advocated by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) and the Biological Effects of ionizing Radiation (BEIR) Report VII for cancer risk estimations Ignores hormesis and the presence of a threshold. Cancer incidences significantly less than expected have been found in a large number of epidemiological studies including, airline flight personnel, inhabitants of high radiation backgrounds, shipyard workers, nuclear site workers in scores of locations throughout the world, nuclear power utility workers, plutonium workers, military nuclear test site Participants, Japanese A-bomb survivors, residents contaminated by major nuclear accidents, residents of Taiwan living in $^{60}Co$ contaminated buildings, fluoroscopy and mammography patients, radium dial painters, and those exposed to indoor radon. Significantly increased cancer was not found at doses <200 $mSv^*$. Evidence for radiation hormesis was seen in both sexes for acute or chronic exposures, low or high LET radiations, external whole- or partial body exposures, and for internal radionuclides. The ubiquitous nature of the Healthy Worker Effect (HWE)-like responses in cellular, animal and epidemiological studies negates the HWE as an explanation for radiation hormesis. The LNT hypothesis is wrong and does not represent the true nature of the dose-response relationship, since low doses or dose-rates commonly result in thresholds and reduce cancer incidences below the spontaneous rate. Radiation protection organizations should seriously consider the cost and health implications of radiation hormesis.

의료용 훈련을 위한 가상현실에 대한 연구 (Virtual Environments for Medical Training: Soft tissue modeling)

  • For more than 2,500 years, surgical teaching has been based on the so called "see one, do one, teach one" paradigm, in which the surgical trainee learns by operating on patients under close supervision of peers and superiors. However, higher demands on the quality of patient care and rising malpractice costs have made it increasingly risky to train on patients. Minimally invasive surgery, in particular, has made it more difficult for an instructor to demonstrate the required manual skills. It has been recognized that, similar to flight simulators for pilots, virtual reality (VR) based surgical simulators promise a safer and more comprehensive way to train manual skills of medical personnel in general and surgeons in particular. One of the major challenges in the development of VR-based surgical trainers is the real-time and realistic simulation of interactions between surgical instruments and biological tissues. It involves multi-disciplinary research areas including soft tissue mechanical behavior, tool-tissue contact mechanics, computer haptics, computer graphics and robotics integrated into VR-based training systems. The research described in this paper addresses the problem of characterizing soft tissue properties for medical virtual environments. A system to measure in vivo mechanical properties of soft tissues was designed, and eleven sets of animal experiments were performed to measure in vivo and in vitro biomechanical properties of porcine intra-abdominal organs. Viscoelastic tissue parameters were then extracted by matching finite element model predictions with the empirical data. Finally, the tissue parameters were combined with geometric organ models segmented from the Visible Human Dataset and integrated into a minimally invasive surgical simulation system consisting of haptic interface devices and a graphic display.

Comparative optimization of Be/Zr(BH4)4 and Be/Be(BH4)2 as 252Cf source shielding assemblies: Effect on landmine detection by neutron backscattering technique

  • Monte Carlo simulations were used to model a portable Neutron backscattering (NBT) sensor suitable for detecting plastic anti-personnel mines (APMs) buried in dry and moist soils. The model consists of a 100 MBq 252Cf source encapsulated in a neutron reflector/shield assembly and centered between two 3He detectors. Multi-parameter optimization was performed to investigate the efficiency of Be/Zr(BH4)4 and Be/Be(BH4)2 assemblies in terms of increasing the signal-to-background (S/B) ratio and reducing the total dose equivalent rate. The MCNP results showed that 2 cm Be/3 cm Zr(BH4)4 and 2 cm Be/3 cm Be(BH4)2 are the optimal configurations. However, due to portability requirements and abundance of Be, the 252Cf-2 cm Be/3 cm Be(BH4)2 NBT model was selected to scan the center of APM buried 3 cm deep in dry and moist soils. The selected NBT model has positively identified the APM with a S/B ratio of 886 for dry soils of 1 wt% hydrogen content and with S/B ratios of 615, 398, 86, and 12 for the moist soils containing 4, 6, 10, and 14 wt% hydrogen, respectively. The total dose equivalent rate reached 0.0031 mSv/h, suggesting a work load of 8 h/day for 806 days within the permissible annual dose limit of 20 mSv.

Determinants of Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning System: A Case Study in Vietnam

  • Under the pressure of business competition and effectiveness, more and more organizations in the world are likely to apply modern software such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) which can help them to create better organizing practice, better managing capabilities of administrators, and better operations of personnel. In Vietnam, many firms are afraid to install it and the number of firms adopting this software is limited mainly due to the insufficient scientific evidence of the successful implementation of ERP. This study aims to identify and measure the factors influencing the successful implementation of ERP of firms in Vietnam. Qualitative research methodology combined with quantitative research methodology is used. The data are surveyed with 343 administrators of 45 organizations that have successfully deployed ERP in Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh cities. Of these 19 were excluded from analyses due to unsatisfactory responses, and only 324 were used for statistical processing. The collected data were processed by using the SPSS software. The result of the study shows that there are six factors affecting the successful implementation of ERP of firms in Vietnam, (ranked in descending order of importance), they are top management commitment and support, business process re-engineering, user involvement, project management board, vendor support, and suitability of software and hardware.
