  • Recently, there is a growing interest in learning to use games as a teaching method for digital native learners. In this study, we conducted a path analysis between bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, linguistic intelligence, flow, learning outcomes(academic achievement, persistence intention) in motion-capture game-based learning(the used game developed for elementary school history class). As a result, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence directly influenced flow and indirectly influenced learning outcomes. Linguistic intelligence did not have direct influence on flow and indirect effects on learning outcomes. Through this result, we expected that the motion-capture game-based learning facilitate learning motivation and performance of learners for higher bodily-kinesthetic intelligence.

  • The study aims to examine the effectiveness of flipped learning teaching methods by using learning analytics to enable effective programming learning for non-major students. After designing a flipped learning programming class model applied with the ADDIE model, learning-related data of the lecture support system operated by the school was processed with crawling. By providing data processed with crawling through a dashboard so that the instructor can understand it easily, the instructor can design classes more efficiently and provide individually tailored learning based on this. As a result of analysis based on the learning-related data collected through one semester class, it was found that the department, academic year, attendance, assignment submission, and preliminary/review attendance had an effect on academic achievement. As a result of survey analysis, they responded that the individualized feedback of instructors through learning analysis was very helpful in self-directed learning. It is expected that it will serve as an opportunity for instructors to provide a foundation for enhancing teaching activities. In the future, the contents of social network services related to learners' learning will be processed with crawling to analyze learners' learning situations.

  • This study conducted a hypothesis test to examine the effect of integrated service quality of nursing and care on medical service performance. The results of this study are as follows. First, the perceived performance, loyalty, perceived performance, perceived loyalty, and perceived loyalty of medical service achievement, perceived performance of medical service performance, responsiveness, confident, empathy, The results show that adoption has a positive impact on loyalty. In other words, the integrated service quality proved to be very important for the medical service capacity. In order to do this, institutional efforts should be given priority to increase the number of nursing staff. In order to nurture excellent nursing team members, in addition to professional nursing ability, emphasis should also be placed on personality education for positive relationships through patient empathy. In this study, we can find the implication of the study that we measured the effect of integrated service quality on medical service performance.

  • In this study, we analyzed verbal interactions in small group science learning using smart devices by the level of prior achievement. Four heterogeneous groups at a coed high school in Seoul participated. Verbal interactions during small group science learning were audio- and video-taped, transcribed, and analyzed. Verbal interactions were analyzed at the levels of a turn and an interaction unit. The results revealed that the frequencies of verbal interactions were high in task category, especially at information explanation, information question, and reflection on standards subcategories. Furthermore, the frequencies of high-level students at direction explanation, reflection on standards and progress subcategories were higher than those of low-level students, and the frequencies of low-level students at direction question and information explanation subcategories were higher than their counterpart. In the analyses of the interaction units, the frequencies in symmetric elaborated interaction were high, especially at cumulative and evaluative subcategories.

  • This study conducted a survey to investigate career decision-making self-efficacy, and career preparation behavior related to self-leadership among students major in culinary area. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed using SPSS 16.0 Version statistical package program, and various results were discovered. First, all the subfactors of self-leadership factors (behavior focused, natural reward, and constructive thought strategy) had a positive effect on career decision-making self-efficacy factors (occupational information, goal setting, career planning, problem solving, self-appraisal). Second, all the factors of self-leadership factors (behavior focused, natural reward and constructive thought strategy) had a positive effect on career preparation (information search activity, goal achievement activity). As a result, the study confirmed that strengthening of self-leadership for culinary major college/university students is important predictor for development with career decision-making self-efficacy and career preparation behavior.

  • The achievement of maximal peak bone mineral density (BMD) in early life is one of the most important strategies for the prevention of osteoporosis, which is affected by nutritional status. However, it has been reported that young Korean women do not consume the optimal levels of nutrients because of the frequent practice of body weight reduction. Therefore, this study was conducted to investigate the relationship between nutrient intakes and BMD in young Korean women. Bone mineral density was measured at the lumbar spine by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. Information on health status, lifestyle and physical activity was obtained by questionnaire. Dietary intake was ascertained from a 3-day dietary record. The study sample included 112 Korean women aged 20$\sim$39 yr. In accordance with the energy intake of subjects, individuals who had an energy intake that was greater than 80% of the Korean Dietary Reference Intake (KDRI) were assigned to the control group (Control), while those who had an energy intake lower than 80% of the KDRI were assigned to the low intake group (LI). The intake of all nutrients in the LI group was significantly lower than that of the Control. Control subjects also showed nutrient intakes higher than the KDRI, except for Ca and folate. However, LI subjects showed intakes of energy, fiber, Ca, Fe, K, Zn, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2 and folate that were lower than the KDRI. The BMD of the lumbar spine in LI subjects was significantly lower than that of the Control subjects. These results suggested that lower nutrient intake has a negative impact on BMD in young women.

  • In this study, activated carbons (ACs) were modified as electrode materials for an electric double layer capacitor (EDLC) by controlling oxygen- and nitrogen-containing functional groups. The morphological and chemical properties of ACs were analyzed through scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer, automatic elemental analyzer (EA) and Boehm titration. Also, charge/discharge tests were performed to investigate the EDLC performance. Oxygen- and nitrogen-containing functional groups were introduced on the surface of ACs through acid and urea treatments, respectively. ACs with nitrogen-containing functional groups showed 2 mA increase of gravimetric discharge capacity and quick achievement of maximum charge/discharge performance. However, ACs with oxygen-containing functional groups showed low discharge capacity and its gradual decrease during further cyclic test, since the functional groups interrupted adsorption/desorption of charges in the electrolyte on the surface of ACs.

  • As a way to improve the software education ability of the pre - service teachers, we conducted programming learning using two types of programming tools (Python and Scratch) at the regular course time. In programming learning, various types of errors, which are factors that continuously hinder interest, achievement and creativity, were collected and analyzed by type. By using the analyzed data, it is possible to improve the ability of pre-service teachers to cope with the errors that can occur in the software education to be taught in the elementary school, and to improve the learning effect. In this study, logic error (37.63%) was the most frequent type that caused the most errors in programming in both conventional language that input text and language that assembles block. In addition, the detailed errors that show a lot of differences in the two languages are the errors of Python (14.3%) and scratch (3.5%) due to insufficient use of grammar and other errors.
