또래 거부에 대한 친구의 사회적 행동과 친구관계 질의 상호적 영향 (The Interactive Effects of Friend Social Behaviors and Friendship Quality on Peer Rejection)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate similarities in behavioral characteristics between children and their friends. Aggression and withdrawal behaviors, in conjunction with the effects of friendship quality and characteristics on peer rejection were analyzed. The participants were 414 fifth and sixth grade primary school children recruited from public schools in Bucheon city. Firstly, the peer nomination index was used to assess aggression, withdrawal, and peer rejection. Secondly, children reported on the quality of their friendships using the Friendship Quality Scale. The results indicates similarities in aggression and withdrawal between children and friends. Friends' aggression and withdrawal characteristics predicted children's peer rejection, which was more pronounced with higher friendship quality.

  • This study examined the relationship of children's quality of friendship, conflict resolution strategies, and conflict outcomes by peer status. Thirty-four elementary school 5th grade dyads were selected by peer status and friendship status. The major results were that (1) popular children perceived more help and less conflict and rivalry from friends than rejected children. (2) Popular children used more compromising/integrating and less dominating strategies than rejected children to resolve conflicts. Conflicts between popular-average pairs resulted in equal outcomes more often and unresolved outcomes less often than rejected-average pairs. (3) There were significant correlations between friendship quality, conflict resolution strategies, and conflict outcomes by peer status.

또래에 의한 괴롭힘이 청소년의 자아존중감에 미치는 영향에 관한 단기 종단적 연구: 애착 및 우정관계의 역할 (Influences of Victimization by Peers on the Self-Esteem of Adolescents: The Role of Attachment and Friendship)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of victimization by peers on self-esteem and the role of father/mother attachment and friendship with a range of 354 2nd-grade junior high school students(169 boys and 185 girls). The subjects reported victimization, father/mother attachment, friendship(number of friends and presence of a best friend), self-esteem and their peers rated victimization, too. The result indicated that (1) Victims in the end of the second semester were also those who were victimized by peers in the end of the first semester, (2) The victimization by peers effected on self-esteem in boys and girls, (3) The interaction effect of victimization and parent attachment on self-esteem was statistically significant only for boys, and friendship on self-esteem was statistically significant only for girls.

중학생이 지각한 부모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향: 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투의 매개효과 (The influence of parental psychological control perceived by middle school students on relational aggression: The mediating effect of rejection sensitivity and friendship jealousy)

  • 본 연구는 부모의 심리적 통제가 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향과 그 과정에서 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투가 매개하는지 확인해보고자 하였다. 이를 확인하기 위해 대구·경북 소재 중학교에 재학 중인 청소년 556명(여학생 318명, 남학생 238명)을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 부모의 심리적 통제가 중학생 자녀의 관계적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 거부민감성과 우정관계 질투가 순차적으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 부모의 심리적 통제로 확립된 자녀의 거부민감성이 우정관계 질투를 증가시킴으로써 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 성별에 따른 경로 차이를 살펴보기 위해 다집단 분석을 실시한 결과, 부모의 심리적 통제에서 거부민감성으로 가는 경로, 부모의 심리적 통제에서 관계적 공격성으로 가는 경로, 우정관계 질투에서 관계적 공격성으로 가는 경로에서 성차가 나타났다. 본 연구는 부모의 심리적 통제가 중학생 자녀의 관계적 공격성에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 성별을 비교하여 차별화된 결과를 통해 관계적 공격성에 대한 이해를 확장시키고 치료적 개입방향을 모색하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

초기 청소년의 인간애와 친구관계에서 적응유연성과 공감능력의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of Resilience and Empathy on the Relation between Humanity and Friendship of the Early Adolescents)

  • 본 연구에서는 인간애가 친구관계에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 그 관계에서 적응유연성과 공감능력이 매개하는지를 구조방정식 모형으로 검증하고자 하였다. 자료는 C 및 B 지역에 재학 중인 초등 5~6학년, 중등 1~2학년을 대상으로 332부를 자기보고식 질문지를 통해 수집되었다. 그 결과는 첫째, 인간애는 적응유연성, 공감능력, 친구관계의 모든 변인에 직접적 영향을 주었다. 그리고 적응유연성은 친구관계에 직접적인 영향을 주었으나, 공감능력은 친구관계에 영향을 주지 않았다. 둘째, 인간애는 적응유연성을 부분 매개하여 친구관계에 영향을 주었으나, 공감능력은 매개하지 않았다. 이 결과는 적응유연성과 공감능력 중에서 적응유연성이 공감능력보다 인간애와 친구관계를 더 잘 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 부가적으로 매개변인의 성차는 공감능력에서 남녀 간의 차이가 있었으나 적응유연성에서는 차이가 없었다. 본 연구의 의의는 청소년의 인간애가 높은 청소년일수록 친구관계에 더욱 긍정적으로 영향을 주며 또한 인간애가 높을수록 적응유연성이 높아 친구관계가 좋아지는 간접효과가 있다는 사실을 밝혔다는데 있다.

초등학생들이 지각하는 교사의 지도성 유형, 학급풍토, 교우관계가 학업태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effectiveness of Teacher's Leadership, Class Climate and Friendship on Academic Attitudes in the Elementary School Students)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들이 지각하는 교사의 지도성 유형이 학급풍토와 학생들 간의 관계, 학업 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 확인하고 이 과정에서 각 변인들의 경로를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 서울과 경기 지역 소재 6개 초등학교에 재학 중인 학생들을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 응답한 학생 중 불성실한 응답자를 제외하고 총 1,533명의 자료가 분석에 사용되었다. 각 변인간의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 기술통계, 상관분석, 경로모형분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 교사의 지도성 유형의 과업중심유형과 인화중심유형은 각각 학급풍토, 교우관계, 학업태도와 모두 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 관련 선행연구들을 바탕으로 교사의 지도성 유형이 학급풍토, 교우관계를 매개로 학업태도에 영향을 미치는 모형을 연구가설로 설정하고 검증을 실시하였다. 모형 검증 결과, 교사의 인화중심 지도성 유형은 학업태도에 직접적인 영향을 미칠 뿐만 아니라 학급풍토와 교우관계를 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 학교장면에서 효과적인 교사의 지도성 유형을 이해하고 학급풍토와 교우관계 등이 학업태도에 유의한 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 확인하였다. 초등학교에서 학생들의 바람직한 학업태도를 형성할 수 있도록 돕는 교사의 지도성 유형과 조력 방향을 논의하였다.

대학생의 자아존중감과 스트레스에 미치는 영향 요인 (Factors affecting the Self-esteem and Stress of University Students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate self esteem and stress of students at their universities for the development of a program related to school life and guidance. Methods: The survey were carried out in 5 universities located in Gyounggi Do, Gyungbuk Do, Busan city and Daegu city from 2014. October 1. to November 30. Out of a total of 500 Questionnaires answered by 500 students, 489 Questionnaires, were analyzed with SPSS version 12.0. Results: The total mean of the self esteem point of college student's school living was $3.41{\pm}0.44$ points. The total mean of the general stress point of college students was $2.67{\pm}0.52$ points. Affecting factors of the self-esteem of subjects(multiple regression analysis) were important things of school living(p<0.05), human and friendship(p<0.05), protector's job(p<0.001), home economic states(p<0.001), and friendship(p<0.001). Based on multiple regression analysis, affecting factors of the stress of subjects were important things of school living(p<0.05), human and friendship(p<0.05), religion(p<0.001), protector's job(p<0.001), friendship(p<0.001), and arbeit job(p<0.05). Conclusions: The results of this study help to provide a basis for development of a strategy to improve the self-esteem and solve problems of stress for university students. Also relevant programs should be developed and provided by related authorities and universities.

초등학생 인터넷 중독경향성에 미치는 모애착, 친구관계, 아바타 이미지 표현욕구 및 아바타 동일시의 영향 (The Effects of Attachment, Friendship, Avatars Image Decoration Needs, and Avatars Identification on Internet Addiction Tendency among Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics of internet usage among 5th and 6th grade of elementary school children and to elucidate the path model and the relative effects of various factors on internet addiction in the internet addiction tendency group. According to our results, the normal internet user group exhibit higher educational levels in fathers, secure attachment to mother, and warm friendship when compared to the internet addiction tendency group. At the same time, internet addiction group exhibit longer internet use time, a greater numbers of avatars in use, and higher avatars decoration costs. The research model suggested here was supported by the results. Attachment to mother appears to affect friendship which in turn affects avatars image decoration needs and avatars identification which in turn then has an impact upon internet addiction tendency. These results were then discussed in relation to previous research and theories.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine that marital conflict, maternal parenting behavior, and a child's friendship quality varied as a function of bully/victim groups. A sample of 227 elementary school children and their mothers participated in the study. Children answered questionnaires regarding maternal parenting behavior, friendship quality, and bullying/victimization and mothers rated their marital conflict. The data were analyzed by frequencies, factor analysis, one-way ANOVAs, and Duncan's post-hoc analyses. The bully/victim distribution was 8.4% bullies, 7.9% victims, 4.4% bully-victims, and 79.3% normative contrasts when reported by children themselves and 9.3% bullies, 4.8% victims, 5.3% bully-victims, and 80.6% normative contrasts when reported by peers. Bullies and bully-victims experienced higher marital conflict than normative contrasts. Bully-victims perceived higher maternal warmth than bullies and both bullies and victims perceived higher maternal rejection/punishment than normative contrasts. Victims perceived their mothers to be more permissive/neglected than normative contrasts, and bully-victims perceived them to be more overprotective than both bullies and normative contrasts. Both bullies and bully-victims showed higher negative function of friendship quality than victims.

온라인 환경에서 친교욕구가 시민행동에 끼치는 영향 (Examining the Impact of Online Friendship Desire on Citizenship Behavior)

  • In line with network technology development and smart device penetration, the social network service (SNS) has expanded its influence. The SNS which is a service based on communication and sharing among people, has grown based on users' voluntary engagement and participation and its influence has appeared beyond the cyberspace into the overall areas of domestic and foreign culture and society. In particular, SNS-based real-time communication during diverse disasters, can help prevent further damage. By sharing information on social donation activities and environmental campaigns, people have used SNS as a tool to change the society in a more positive way. Such series of activities functioning as a power to change the society have been made much faster and wider through the help of a new media called SNS. To better understand such trends, we are required to study about the SNS and its user relationships first. In this context, this study sought to identify the effects of people's desire to build friendships through SNS on the voluntary and society-friendly activities of people. This study considers online pro-social behavior and proposes online citizenship behavior. Citizenship behavior has been examined in organization context. That is, organizational citizenship behavior explains an employee's pro-social behavior in an organization context. Organizational citizenship behavior is characterized by the individual's helping others and promoting the functioning of the organization. By applying organizational citizenship behavior to an online context, we propose online citizenship behavior, an individual's pro-social behavior in an online context. An individual's pro-social behavior, i.e., online citizenship behavior, could be considered as a way for the better management of online community and society. It also needs to examine the development of online citizenship behavior. This study examined online citizenship behavior from the friendship desire. Because online society or community is characterized by online relationships between members, the friendship between members would lead to pro-social behavior, i.e., helping others and promoting the functioning of the online society, in such online context. This study further examines the antecedents of friendship desire in terms of SNS interactivity with its four factors. The findings based on the survey from real SNS users explain that the three factors of SNS interactivity (connectivity, enjoyment, and synchronicity) increases online friendship desire which then increases online citizenship behavior significantly. This study contributes to the literature by examining the key role of online friendship desire in leading to online citizenship behavior and identifying its antecedents in terms of SNS characteristics. The findings in this study also provide guidance on how to manage online society and how to promote the effective functioning of SNS.
