  • Recently, ESG(Environmental, Social, Governance) has been recognized as an important factor for the sustainable growth of companies. However, only 14.5% of food manufacturing companies have adopted ESG management. In particular, small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs) face difficulties in implementing ESG management due to a lack of specialized personnel and resource constraints. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of ESG ratings on the management performance of 40 food manufacturing companies listed on the Korea Exchange(KRX) that have been evaluated for ESG. The one-way ANOVA was used and performed on data for 40 food manufacturing companies published by the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability(KCGS) in 2023. The results of the analysis showed statistically significant differences in sales (F=12.936, p<0.001) and foreign ownership (F=7.74, p<0.01) based on ESG ratings. Furthermore, Scheffe's post-hoc analysis indicated that the higher the ESG rating and individual scores, the better the overall management performance. Therefore, it is concluded that food manufacturing companies should continuously invest in and focus on ESG management to secure a competitive advantage in the market and achieve sustainable growth.

This study aims to survey the perception levels among residents in deteriorated apartments relating to remodelling. It might be provide the basic data which could be used for the analysis of consumers in the future implementation of deteriorated remodelling projects. The analytical methods adopted in this study were factor analysis, 1-test, one-way ANOVA, post-hoc estimation(Scheffe test) by the SPSS 10.1 for Windows program. Through the factor analysis for the perception types regarding remodelling, the factors were named ‘function improvement orientation’ , ‘property value orientation’, ‘individual-household improvement orientation’, and ‘negative attitude to remodelling’. The analysis of the perception types regarding remodelling, by the family characteristics, socio-economic characteristics, residence characteristics, apartment block variables, resident's value orientation, and resident's satisfaction level, indicated that the perception degree of the ‘property value orientation’was the highest, followed by the ‘function improvement orientation’.

  • Purpose: This study was aimed at identifying the levels of parenting stress among mothers of children with cerebral palsy and factors influencing parenting stress. Method: The research design was cross-sectional survey. Data were collected from 122 mothers of hospitalized children (under 15 years of age) with cerebral palsy at the Y medical center using the questionnaires. The data were analyzed using one way analysis of variance with Scheffe test for post-hoc analysis or t-test, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean score of parenting stress was 2.52 (SD=0.79; range: 1~4). The father's participation, mother's parenting hours, self-esteem and social support were significant predictors of parenting stress, significantly accounting for the 33.3% variance (F=16.118, p<.001). Conclusion: It is essential for health professionals to consider the aforementioned four factors when developing interventions to reduce parenting stress for mothers of children with cerebral palsy.

Methods : This study involved 352 nursing students at K University in B City, each who understood the study's purpose and agreed to participate in the study. The study's data were collected between April 8 and 19, 2019 and were analyzed using the SPSS for Windows 22.0 program based on frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations as well as a t-test, analysis of variance, post-hoc test, and correlation analysis results. The Scheffe test was performed for the post-hoc test, and the Pearson correlation coefficient was employed for the correlation analysis. Results : College-related stress showed statistically significant negative correlations with self-efficacy (r=-.310, p<.001), social support (r=-.312, p<.001), and interpersonal skills (r=-.226, p<.001). However, self-efficacy exhibited statistically significant positive correlations with social support (r=.548, p<.001) and interpersonal skills (r=.524, p<.001), and social support showed a statistically significant positive correlation with interpersonal skills (r=.644, p<.001). Therefore, higher levels of self-efficacy and social support and a lower level of college-related stress result in corresponding higher levels of interpersonal skills. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to find measures to lower nursing students' college-related stress and increase their self-efficacy and social support, as well as to develop and operate specific intervention programs that can help enhance their interpersonal skills.

  • The current study examined the effects of socio-demographic characteristics and peer relations on the emotional, behavioral, and comorbid disorder symptoms among low-low-SES children, using the Young Lives Survey: an International Study of Childhood Poverty: Round 1, 2002. Participants were 1,000 8-year-old children (502 boys and 498 girls) from low-low-SES families. Data were analyzed using ANOVA, t-tests, post hoc test (Scheffe's method), correlations, and multiple logistic regression analyses according to the analysis strategy. There was a moderate correlation between selected socio-demographic variables and emotional/behavioral disorder symptoms, and the caregiver's marital status, child's health compared to others, child's work status corresponded to significant differences in their emotional/behavior levels. Regarding the logistic regression analysis, in addition to the effects of socio-demographic variables reflecting the characteristics of less-developed countries, marital status, child's working status, and conflicts with peers proved to be detrimental to emotional, behavioral, or comorbid disorder symptoms in low-SES children, who have been lack quality parenting, social resources, and child human rights. Results indicated the need to develop health care services that would address those problems and appropriate intervention and prevention programs targeting children in low-income families. Moreover, careful assessment and intervention for child's health status, child's working status and peer relationship problems are suggested as possible strategies for helping children at risk of exhibiting further problematic behaviors.
