조경공사 공정관리를 위한 공정진도의 특성에 관한 연구 -주택단지 조경공사 사례를 대상으로- (A Study on the Specificity of Construction Progress for Landscape Construction Schedule Management -With regard to Landscape Construction of Housing Complex-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze th especificity of landscape construction progress in order to develop the model of landscape construction schedule management. Nine case study area in housing complex was selected and the graphic curve of the accumulative payment by landscape construction schedule was analyzed. And the results are as follows: The graphic curve of common construction progress is S-curve but that of landscape construction progress is parabolic-curve, because landscape construction concentrally progress in last period of construction schedule. And particularly parabolic-curve seems to rise up suddenly in the last period when landscape construction amount is small.

An Efficient DVS Algorithm for Pinwheel Task Schedules

  • In this paper, we focus on the pinwheel task model with a variable voltage processor with d discrete voltage/speed levels. We propose an intra-task DVS algorithm, which constructs a minimum energy schedule for k tasks in O(d+k log k) time We also give an inter-task DVS algorithm with O(d+n log n) time, where n denotes the number of jobs. Previous approaches solve this problem by generating a canonical schedule beforehand and adjusting the tasks' speed in O(dn log n) or O($n^3$) time. However, the length of a canonical schedule depends on the hyper period of those task periods and is of exponential length in general. In our approach, the tasks with arbitrary periods are first transformed into harmonic periods and then profile their key features. Afterward, an optimal discrete voltage schedule can be computed directly from those features.

  • The complex and dynamic job nature and the ever-changing working environment of construction projects inevitably present uncertainties to construction operations. Identification, evaluation and control of uncertainties constitute main elements of risk management and critical tasks of project management in construction. This paper is focused on application of a simplified discrete-event simulation approach in management of schedule-overrun risks, each being the combination of the occurrence probability of an uncertain interruptive factor and its potential consequence in terms of time delay. A case study observed from a concreting operation in Hong Kong is converted into a simulation model and analyzed with an in-house-developed simulation package for demonstrating how the proposed approach can be implemented to manage multiple schedule-overrun risks on construction projects.

소프트웨어 개발인력 배분 모델 (A Model for Software Development Manpower Allocation)

  • 노력 (인력)과 일정이 추정된 경우, 인력을 일정 시간대별로 효율적으로 배분하기는 매우 어렵다. 지금까지 Putnam의 Rayleigh 분포모델이 널리 적용되고 있다 이 분포는 프로젝트 전반부에서 인력이 집중적으로 투입되는 형태를 표현하고 있다. 그러나 실제 수행된 프로젝트의 대부분이 중반부나 후반부시점에서 인력이 집중적으로 투입되는 현상을 나타내 Rayleigh 분포를 적용할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문은 인력을 효율적으로 배분하기 위한 모델을 제안한다. 먼저, 소프트웨어 개발 분야에서 제시하고 있는 전형적인 형태와 실제 수행 프로젝트들의 인력 프로파일 형태를 고찰하였다. 다음으로, 효율적인 인력 배분을 위해 인력 프로파일에 대한 윤곽을 그려 모델을 유도하는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 모델은 기존의 Rayleigh와 Gamma 모델보다 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 제안된 모델을 적용할 경우 소프트웨어 개발계획단계에서 개발기간에 대한 투입될 인력을 적절히 배분하여 프로젝트를 성공적으로 관리할 수 있을 것이다.

SMI Compatible Simulation Scheduler Design for Reuse of Model Complying with SMP Standard

  • Software reusability is one of key factors which impacts cost and schedule on a software development project. It is very crucial also in satellite simulator development since there are many commercial simulator models related to satellite and dynamics. If these models can be used in another simulator platform, great deal of confidence and cost/schedule reduction would be achieved. Simulation model portability (SMP) is maintained by European Space Agency and many models compatible with SMP/simulation model interface (SMI) are available. Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) is developing hardware abstraction layer (HAL) supported satellite simulator to verify on-board software of satellite. From above reasons, KARI wants to port these SMI compatible models to the HAL supported satellite simulator. To port these SMI compatible models to the HAL supported satellite simulator, simulation scheduler is preliminary designed according to the SMI standard.

화력발전소 원료 공급계획을 위한 휴리스틱 알고리즘 (A Heuristic Algorithm for Power Plant Coal Supply Planning Problems)

  • This paper deals with a coal supply planning problem for power plants. We propose a mathematical optimization model to make decisions for coal pile sections, movement of reclaimers, and operation time of conveyor belts. The objective of the proposed model is to minimize the total operation time of conveyor belts and total movement time of reclaimers. The algorithm firstly selects a pile section by considering both the location of reclaimers and the stock amount on that pile section. And then the shortest path from the selected pile section has to be put into the operation schedule and check whether the total operation time is satisfied. Then finally the new schedule is updated. To this end, we have tested the proposed algorithm comparing with the general standard optimization package for the simplified problem SCSPP. From the numerous test runs for comparing with the existing coal supply scheduling methods, We see that the proposed model may improve the coal supply operation by reducing significant coal supply costs.

Resource and Sequence Optimization Using Constraint Programming in Construction Projects

  • Construction projects are large-scale projects that require extensive construction costs and resources. Especially, scheduling is considered as one of the essential issues for project success. However, the schedule and resource management are challenging to conduct in high-tech construction projects including complex design of MEP and architectural finishing which has to be constructed within a limited workspace and duration. In order to deal with such a problem, this study suggests resource and sequence optimization using constraint programming in construction projects. The optimization model consists of two modules. The first module is the data structure of the schedule model, which consists of parameters for optimization such as labor, task, workspace, and the work interference rate. The second module is the optimization module, which is for optimizing resources and sequences based on Constraint Programming (CP) methodology. For model validation, actual data of plumbing works were collected from a construction project using a five-minute rate (FMR) method. By comparing actual data and optimized results, this study shows the possibility of reducing the duration of plumbing works in construction projects. This study shows decreased overall project duration by eliminating work interference by optimizing resources and sequences within limited workspaces.

  • 건설공사의 기성관리체계의 효율적인 운영을 위해, 정부는 공정과 내역의 통합관리를 위한 EVMS를 운영하고 있다. 그러나 현재 공사진도의 평가기준인 공정과 내역이 이원화로 운영되고 있어 건설공사 실무자들에게 부가적인 업무를 가중시켜 왔다. 본 연구는 공정과 내역이 통합 운영될 수 있는 일원화 방안으로 작업과업의 개념을 도입하여 공정과 내역을 공유하기 위한 정보채널로 사용하였다. 또한, 이 작업과업을 활용한 공정 내역 통합관리시스템의 모형제시 및 활용성 검증을 통하여 EVMS 운영 시스템 프로토타입을 개발하여 그 효율성을 제시하였다.

실현 가능한 소프트웨어 개발기간 추정 (An Estimating for Practical Software Development Duration)

  • 개발인력을 투입하는 양에 상관없이 소프트웨어를 개발하는데 소요되는 일정 단축에는 한계가 있다. 그러나 획득되는 실제 개발된 소프트웨어 데이터들을 분석하여 보면 불가능한 단기간의 개발기간 또는 비현실적으로 장기간 개발기간 데이터들까지 포함하고 있다. 기존에 제안된 개발기간 추정 모델들은 이러한 제약사항을 고려하지 않고 실제 개발된 소프트웨어 모두를 대상으로 개발일정을 유도하고 있다. 본 논문은 개발 최소기간과 최적 개발기간(정상적인 개발기간)에 대한 기준을 제시한다. 제시된 기준은 실제 수행된 프로젝트를 대상으로 5개의 기준 중에서 가장 성능이 좋은 개발기간 추정 모델을 얻은 기준을 판단하였다. 또한, 이에 기반하여 개발기간을 추정하는 모델을 제시한다.

홀로그래픽 저장장치의 각/프랙탈 다중화 방식에서 균일한 회절 효율을 위한 기록 시간 분배 (The exposure-time schedule for uniform diffraction efficiency in angle/fractal multiplexing of holographic data storage)

  • Because of the photorefractive recording dynamics, each newly recorded hologram partially erases all previously stored image. Thus achieving the desired diffraction efficiency profile for the entire sequence after all images have been recorded requires exposure time schedule. The often cited classical exposure-schedule model predicts a rising-exponential build-up and an exponential decay in An with an exposure time. However because we cannot directly measure the An, it's difficult to establish the relation of both. In this paper, we deduce the relation of diffraction efficiency and exposure time from experiment data and suggest an algorithm to make time schedule profile in angle/fractal multiplexing of holographic data storage. After that, we present simulated result with equal hologram diffraction efficiency for a sequence of 250 holograms recorded by angle/fractal multiplexing.
