  • This paper proposes a video model for the implementation of the cultural video database system. We have utilized an efficient scene change detection method that segments cultural video into semantic units for efficient indexing and retrieval of video. Since video has a large volume and needs to be played for a longer time, it implies difficulty of viewing the entire video. To solve this Problem. the cultural video abstraction was made to save the time and widen the choices of video the video abstract is the summarization of scenes, which includes important events produced by setting up the abstraction rule.

  • Video viewers can not understand enough entire video contents because most video is long length data of large capacity. This paper propose efficient scene change detection and video abstracting using new shot clustering to solve this problem. Scene change detection is extracted by method that was merged color histogram with ${\chi}^2$ histogram. Clustering is performed by similarity measure using difference of local histogram and new shot merge algorithm. Furthermore, experimental result is represented by using Real TV broadcast program.

  • We propose the method of analysis, separation, and express from normalized and standard method to reduce the problem with the existing scene change detection and the complicated and variety of images of real change. In this paper, we propose a new local ${\lambda}^2$-test which was combined the ${\lambda}^2$-existing test methods and local color histograms. This method is robust method of abrupt and gradual detection and solve the problem of traditional method.

  • In this paper, we propose a method to detect the scene change using deep learning. To extract feature points, we use a deep neural network and express extracted feature points as 128 dimensional vectors using SIFT descriptor. If it is less than 25%, it is determined that the scene is changed.

  • User in video data utilization of high-capacity can grasp whole video data at a look. Offer frame list that summarize information of video data to do so that can remake video from branch that want when need. Need index process of video data for effective video retrieval. This treatise wishes to propose effective method about scene change point detection of video that is been based on contents base index. Proposed method video data so that can grasp whole structure of video detection color value of schedule pixel for diagonal line direction in image sampling do. Data that get into sampling could grasp scene change point on one eye. Color value of pixel that detection in each frame is i frame number by i$\times$j procession to procession A, j stores to reflex height of frame. Introduce MSE and calculate mean error of each frame. If exceed mean error and schedule critical value, wish to detect the frame for scene change point.

  • Scene boundary detection is important in the understanding of semantic structure from video data. However, it is more difficult than shot change detection because scene boundary detection needs to understand semantics in video data well. In this paper, we propose a new approach to scene segmentation using contextual information in video data. The contextual information is divided into two categories: local and global contextual information. The local contextual information refers to the foreground regions' information, background and shot activity. The global contextual information refers to the video shot's environment or its relationship with other video shots. Coherence, interaction and the tempo of video shots are computed as global contextual information. Using the proposed contextual information, we detect scene boundaries. Our proposed approach consists of three consecutive steps: linking, verification, and adjusting. We experimented the proposed approach using TV dramas and movies. The detection accuracy of correct scene boundaries is over than 80%.

  • The era of realistic broadcast with high fidelity has come after the wide-spread distribution of UHD display and the transmission of UHD experimental broadcast in CATV. However, UHD broadcast now has constraint because it requires much amount of bandwidth and data in broadcasting transmission and production system. Not only HEVC(High Efficiency Video Codec) which has more than two times higher compression rate but also cloud-based editing system would be the key to solve the problems above. Also, fast scene change detection of videos is needed to index and search UHD videos smoothly. In this paper, therefore, a method is proposed to index and search the scene change information of large volume UHD videos compressed with high-efficiency codec. Application usages of fast detection of scene change information in various UHD video environments are considered by using this algorithm.

  • An HDTV frame has 4~6 times more pixels than a DTV frame. In order to encode the HDTV image in real time, parallel processing architectures have been widely used in many HDTV codec developments. That is, an HDTV Image is divided into several subbands and each subband is encoded in parallel using some DTV level encoders. In this paper, we adopt an HDTV codec architecture which divides an HDTV frame into 4 subbands and propose a new scene change detection algorithm using local variance. In addition, a new adaptive multichannel rate control scheme which allocate target bits adaptively to each subband of the HDTV image based on the activities of subband images is suggested in this paper. The activities of subband images are calculated at scene change detection part and reused at the adaptive rate control part. The simulation results show that the proposed scene change detection algorithm detects the scene change of HDTV video very accurately. Also the suggested adaptive multichannel rate control scheme shows better performance than the rate control method which allocates target bits equally to each subbands of the HDTV image.
