건설재해예방 기술지도의 문제점 분석 및 개선방안 (The Problem Analysis and Improvement of Technical Guidance On Construction Accident Prevention)

  • Safety accident rate of small-medium construction site is high. because of lack of safety management system, lack of safety management capacity, lack of investment for safety, Owner's insufficient awareness about safety. In order to improve this, Currently in Occupational Safety and Health Act, Construction site of amounts more than 300 million won less than 120 billion (architectural),150 billion won(civil) mandatory subject to the technical guidance on construction accident prevention. Context of construction accident causes with construction accident rate relationship analysis and case analysis of technical guidance, through a survey of stakeholders in the technical guidance drawn the problems of the construction accident prevention technical guidance system and ways to improve on this.

  • This study was conducted in order to assist with infusing safety consciousness and resolving insensitivity towards safety for industrial accident in workers, managers and executives of chemical companies. Among many industrial accident prevention methods, Korea has been mostly taking an engineering approach of preventing industrial accidents by replacing old machines with risks of an accident and through new facilities and equipments. Through an attitude survey of workers in large scale chemical companies, this study wished to examine the fact that the biggest reason why the accident rate for the past 10 years has not decreased is because safety consciousness has not been established yet.

  • In manufacturing industry of the modem industrial society, people increasingly become concerned the awareness of safety increasingly although they have regarded production the most important factor. Even though, as people make efforts on accident preventions, the number of accidents is decreasing, fatal major industry accidents are rather thanincreasing so that the number of deaths has not decreased. Under these conditions, there is an attempt to introduce and perform the process safety management system as a means for keeping from major industry accidents. However, it leaves to be desired on the methods of measuring process safety in the general manufacturing industry, while it is available to do that in the chemistry industry. Therefore, in this paper, we analysis processes of manufacturing industry in safety point of view and suggest the technique efficiently measuring and managing each process. Proposed the technique shows that the specification on safety determines AHP weight through the managers of firms and each process is suggested by using normalized matrix.

중대재해처벌법 핵심 안전조항에 대한 건설업 종사자의 인식 고찰 (A Study on the Perception of Construction Workers on the Key Safety Provisions of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act)

  • This study is to investigate the degree of field awareness of how each provision of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act will affect accident prevention. As a result of conducting a survey of construction site workers, it was analyzed that construction site workers had a low sense of safety and did not voluntarily engage in safety activities. And it can be seen that they are taking a very passive position that it is efficient to implement safety under the supervision of the supervisor. Workers who need voluntary construction site safety activities are most aware of the situation at the site, but the problem was pointed out as "lack of procedures for listening to opinions and preparing improvement measures" for these problems. Future research is needed to see if this is a problem for individual workers or for those in charge of safety and health who do not correct it even though active opinions have been submitted.

공공기관 경영진 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 안전혁신교육 요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Safety Innovation Education Factors Affecting the Management's Behavioral Intentions in Public Institutions)

  • This study analyzed the factors affecting the educational effect of safety innovation education for management of public institutions. A survey was conducted on 294 CEOs and executive directors of public institutions (divided into construction sites, workplaces, and research facilities) subject to the safety management rating system to understand the impact of educational participants' characteristics and behavioral intentions after safety innovation education. As a result of statistical analysis, it was found that the executive director had a higher behavioral intention than the CEO, and the education quality, education instructor, and educational environment all had a significant positive (+) effect on the behavioral intention. This study can be used as basic data for further research related to safety innovation education for management of public institutions

A Qualitative Study Understanding Unsafe Behaviors of Workers in Construction Sites

  • Construction accidents result from a combination of factors, including both the actions of workers and the safety conditions on site. Despite advancements in enhancing construction site safety, there remains a gap in comprehending the cognitive processes underlying workers' unsafe behavior. This paper investigates and validates a qualitative model that delves into the potential causes of workers' unsafe actions by examining their cognitive processes, employing a system dynamics approach. By analyzing the interplay of various loops within this model, it offers both short- and long-term safety strategies for managers intent on minimizing unsafe behavior among workers. Specifically, safety managers should prioritize increasing workers' awareness of hazards through education and fostering a positive safety mindset. Moreover, they should task frontline supervisors with directly addressing and rectifying instances of unsafe behavior by workers. Lastly, construction safety managers ought to formulate safety strategies that take into account the cognitive states of workers to mitigate any adverse consequences of biased safety management. The outcomes of this research contribute to our comprehension of methods to enhance hazard perception among workers, curtail unsafe actions, and ultimately reduce construction accidents from a cognitive standpoint.

방사선 조사식품에 대한 인식연구 (A Study on the Awareness of the Irradiated Food)

  • 식품의 살균법은 가열법, 저온살균법, 훈증법 그리고 방사선 조사법과 같은 다양한 방법으로 살균을 수행하고 있다. 방사선 조사식품은 다른 타 살균법에 비해 에너지 소요량이 적으면서 강력한 투과력으로 연속적인 처리 공정이 가능하다는 장점뿐만 아니라 살균에만 국한하지 않고 살충 및 발아억제 그리고 숙도를 조절함으로써 안전성에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있으나, 국내에선 연구된 보고 사례가 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 방사선 조사식품에 대한 인식을 파악하기 위해 설문지를 통해 연구를 수행하였다. 연구대상자는 가정에서 식생활을 책임지고 있는 학부모를 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과 방사선조사식품에 대한 인식은 평균 2.73점으로 낮게 나타났으며, 인식개선을 위한 적극적인 홍보와 교육이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Measuring Situation Awareness of Operating Team in Different Main Control Room Environments of Nuclear Power Plants

  • Environments in nuclear power plants (NPPs) are changing as the design of instrumentation and control systems for NPPs is rapidly moving toward fully digital instrumentation and control, and modern computer techniques are gradually introduced into main control rooms (MCRs). Within the context of these environmental changes, the level of performance of operators in a digital MCR is a major concern. Situation awareness (SA), which is used within human factors research to explain to what extent operators of safety-critical systems know what is transpiring in the system and the environment, is considered a prerequisite factor to guarantee the safe operation of NPPs. However, the safe operation of NPPs can be guaranteed through a team effort. In this regard, the operating team's SA in a conventional and digital MCR should be measured in order to assess whether the new design features implemented in a digital MCR affect this parameter. This paper explains the team SA measurement method used in this study and the results of applying this measurement method to operating teams in different MCR environments. The paper also discusses several empirical lessons learned from the results.

임상실습을 경험하는 간호학생의 환자안전에 관한 융·복합연구 (A Convergence Study on the Patient Safety of Nursing Students who have experienced Clinical Practice)

  • 본 연구는 임상실습을 경험한 간호학생들의 환자안전관리 실천에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 수행하였다. 연구대상자는 국내 5개 도시의 5개 대학에 재학 중인 간호학생 232명이었다. 자료수집은 2019년 6월 17일부터 7월 30일까지 시행되었고, 구조화된 자가보고식 설문지 작성을 통해 수집하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 windows program을 이용하여, T-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple regression을 이용하였다. 상관분석 결과, 환자안전관리 실천은 환자안전관리 중요성 인식(r= .42, p<.001), 지식(r= .29, p<.001), 태도(r= .35, p<.001)와 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있었다. 다중회귀분석 결과, 환자안전관리 중요성 인식은 환자안전관리 실천에 유의한 영향(β=.19, p<.001)을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으며, 모형의 설명력은 36.2%였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 간호학생들의 환자안전관리 역량을 개선시킬 수 있는 대학단위의 교육이 꾸준하게 이루어질 필요가 있음을 강조한다.

어린이 보호구역 주·정차 방지시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of a Parking and Stopping Prevention System in Child Protection Zone)

  • 초등학교 주변에는 교통약자인 어린이 교통사고를 예방하기 위하여 어린이 보호구역내 스쿨존(school zone)을 지정하여 이 구역내에서는 차량 운행속도를 30km/h 미만으로 운행함에 따라 주·정차가 금지되어 있다. 하지만 우리나라는 OECD 국가 중 어린이 교통사고 사망률이 1위라는 불명예를 안고 있다. 이와 같은 배경하에 본 연구는 어린이 보호구역에서의 다양한 도로여건에 따라 불법 주·정차 차량으로 인한 운전자 시야확보 및 주행차량에 대한 인지의 어려움 등이 상존하고 있어, 이에 어린이 보호구역 내에 불법 주·정차방지 시스템을 구축함으로써 교통약자인 어린이들에 대해 교통사고방지와 운전자 안전운전에 대한 경각심 증진에 기여하기 위함에 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법으로는 주요선행연구와 문헌조사 및 분석을 바탕으로 주·정차방지시스템에 대한 구축방안을 제시하였다. 구축방안을 통해 교통사고 방지, 스마트한 운전자의 안전운행 유도, 보행자 안전의식 강화, 운전자의 안전의식 경각심 유도 등 효과를 기대할 수 있다.
