시스템 다이내믹스를 활용한 원전 조직 및 인적인자 평가 (A System Dynamics Model for Assessment of Organizational and Human Factor in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • The intent of this study is to develop system dynamics model for assessment of organizational and human factors in nuclear power plant which can contribute to secure the nuclear safety. Previous studies are classified into two major approaches. One is engineering approach such as ergonomics and probability safety assessment(PSA). The other is social science approach such like sociology, organization theory and psychology. Both have contributed to find organization and human factors and to present guideline to lessen human error in NPP. But, since these methodologies assume that relationship among factors is independent they don't explain the interactions among factors or variables in NPP. To overcome these limits, we have developed system dynamics model which can show cause and effect among factors and quantify organizational and human factors. The model we developed is composed of 16 functions of job process in nuclear power, and shows interactions among various factors which affects employees' productivity and job quality. Handling variables such like degree of leadership, adjustment of number of employee, and workload in each department, users can simulate various situations in nuclear power plant in the organization side. Through simulation, user can get insight to improve safety in plants and to find managerial tools in the organization and human side. Analyzing pattern of variables, users can get knowledge of their organization structure, and understand stands of other departments or employees. Ultimately they can build learning organization to secure optimal safety in nuclear power plant.

임무형 지휘의 해양경찰 적용에 관한 연구 (The Application of Mission Command for the Korea Coast Guard)

  • 이 연구에서는 해양사고 발생시 소중한 국민의 생명을 신속하고 안전하게 구조하기 위한 현장 지휘관의 리더십 개념으로 '임무형 지휘'를 제시하였다. 먼저 임무형 지휘의 개념과 한계, 도입 정착시키기 위한 노력에 대해 고찰해 본 후, 이러한 임무형 지휘의 해양경찰 도입 필요성, 임무형 지휘 적용시 그 범위와 구체적 방법에 대해 살펴보았다. 한치 앞도 예견할 수 없는 사고현장에 효율적인 구조 업무 달성을 위해서는 임무형 지휘가 해양경찰에 도입되어야 한다. 그러나 임무형 지휘는 하루아침에 이루어지는 것이 아니며, 임무형 지휘의 안정적 정착을 위한 조직 차원에서의 장기적이고 체계적인 계획과 노력이 필요하다. 임무형 지휘의 기본요건을 착실히 갖추어 나갈 수 있도록 교육 훈련, 인사, 절차 등 모든 제도 전반에 걸쳐 지속적인 개선 노력이 뒷받침되어야 한다.

방사선종양학과에 종사하는 치료방사선사의 감정노동에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Study for Effective Factors of Emotional Labor in Radiation Therapist of Radiation Oncology Department)

  • The objectives of this study were to investigate the degrees of emotional labor, the effects to organizational effectiveness and the significant factors influencing organizational effectiveness in radiation therapy professional. The subjects of this study were the radiation therapists working at the hospital in Seoul and Gyungi. The self-reported questionnaires were administered to 205 radiation therapists and the data were analyzed with SPSS 19.0 package. The level of emotional labor of single or female subjects were revealed higher than married or male. The professionalism of job has significant correlation with emotional labor. Significant explanatory variables of the degrees of emotional labor included organization culture, distress and self-leadership. These three variables demonstrated the explanatory power of 13.9% of the emotional labor. Based on the findings, emotional labor of radiation therapist was correlated with occupational professionalism. These results suggest that the intervention program intervening emotional labor should be continued to develop in order to improve the effective self-leadership, organization culture and distress factor.

사업연속성경영시스템(BCMS)이 재난관리 성과와 재난현장 대응에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) on Disaster Management Performance and Disaster Site Response)

  • 연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 사업연속성경영시스템(BCMS) 7개 하위 구성요인이 재난 관리 성과와 재난현장 대응에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법: 선행연구를 통해 가설을 설정하고 통신사업기관 종사자 대상으로 설문조사를 시행한 후 총 327부의 자료를 수집하여 통계적 분석을 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과: 첫째 사업연속성경영시스템(BCMS)의 리더십, 기획, 지원, 운영, 성과평가는 재난 관리성과에 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째 사업연속성경영시스템의 리더십, 기획, 지원, 운영, 성과평가, 개선은 재난현장 대응에 정의(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 사업연속성경영시스템은 재난관리 성과와 재난현장 대응에 전반적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 기업의 재난관리성과와 재난현장 대응력을 높이기 위해서는 사업연속성경영시스템(BCMS)의 구축과 운영이 필요하다.

시스템 다이내믹스 기법을 활용한 고위험 조직 사고 사례 분석 (Cases Study of Accidents in High Risk Organizations by System Dynamics)

  • The importance of the concept of safety culture has increased in the security of high-risk facility after Chernobyl accident in 1986. This paper elaborated the concept of safety culture and its main factors by Causal Loop Diagram. Due to the decline of safety culture, the occurrence of incidents and accidents require more and more corrective actions to the members of high-risk facilities and thereby increasing their workloads. Employees who must complete the task within the given time have to have time pressures and don't comply with the rules and procedures. Also, a schedule pressure is a big stress for employees, causing mistakes in precision work. In order to improve these problems, CLD of the safety culture in this paper suggests hiring more workers, re-allocation of given workloads and strengthen the learning, communication capabilities and safety leadership. In addition, the two real accident cases were analyzed to test the feasibility of the System Dynamic simulation model through the process of structuring the fault trees on the stationary black out accident in Kori unit 1 in South Korea and Kleen Energy power station explosion in US. The simulation results show that the various safety factors cause the serious accident combined with mechanical failure and safety culture will reduce the possibility of the accidents in these high-risk organizations. This simulation model can contribute to analyzing the impact of the organizational and human factors of safety culture and can provide the alternatives in high-risk facilities.

양면성 혁신의 선행요인에 대한 연구 (A Study on Ambidextrous Innovation's Proceeding Elements)

  • Recently, creative innovation has become a major topic in management innovation and due to this, various researches on its need and methodologies are being performed. According to previous studies on ambidexterity, explorative innovation is closer to divergent and right-sided brain, while exploitative innovation is closer to convergent and left-sided brain. Topic was to identify preceding element which affects Ambidextrous Innovation. For this topic, 129 Six Sigma projects from 19 different companies were collected. Ambidextrous index from preceding studies was used. This index represents the degree of ambidextrous activation and can be calculated by multiplying cumulative usage of exploitative tools with that of explorative tools. In the project characteristics, simple linear regression result showed leadership degree, team's vitalization degree and leader capability degree have effect in positive direction.

  • 기업이 경쟁력을 위해 예전부터 노력했던 기본적인 세가지는 제품 선도력(ProductLeadership), 뛰어난 생산성(Operational Excellence), 고객 친화력(Customer Intimacy) 였다. 하지만 그 동안의 경영 혁신 활동 및 솔루션들은 상대적으로 뛰어난 업무 생산성(Operational Excellnce)에 집중되어 왔다. 그리하여 지속적인 생산성 향상 노력의 효과가 과거에 비해 점차 작아지고 생산성 향상에 요구되는 노력이 과거보다 더 커지기 시작한 것이다. 이에 비해 고객의 친화력을 향상시키기 위한 기업의 투자는 상대적으로 적었다. 개념적인 논의나 비정기적인 단발 투자에 그치는 경우가 많았고 체계적인 투자는 없었다. 여기에 CRM시스템의 구축에 대한 투자가 필요한 것이다. 현재 선진기업들은 "고객과의 관계를 통합적으로 관리"하는 CRM 시스템을 구축하는데 주력하여 물건 및 서비스를 판매하거나 고객의 요구를 수용하는 차원을 넘어서 개별 고객의 문제를 실시간 내지 사전적으로 해결하는 단계로 발전해 나가고 있는 실정이며 인터넷의 도입으로 고객과의 커뮤니케이션, 문제해결 빈도 및 속도가 획기적으로 개선되고 있다. 우리나라도 주요 기업들이 CRM에 많은 관심을 보이면서 관련시장이 급속히 신장하고 있는 이 시점에서 CRM 시스템에 관한 간략한 소개와 시스템의 구축시 고려해야할 문제점과 개선방향에 관하여 제시하고자 한다. 제시하고자 한다.

  • In this era of globally competitive world market, many business firms have been using ISO 9000 quality management system, whose principles are leadership, customer focus, people involvement, etc., which are expected and desired to be attained for the various long/short term goals of the business firms. This paper studies whether and how those principles are implemented in the areas of service, manufacturing, etc., and researches the regression relations between business firm's performance and those principles. Using hypothesis testing, we found and showed results which can be referenced for the higher performance of business firms and those can be added to the pool of knowledge about the ISO principles implementation in service and manufacturing industries.
