As the number of passengers and the amount of cargo is getting increased, the traffic of aircraft and moving vehicle at an airport is getting busy. Especially, due to the heavy traffic of moving vehicles in the area of airside, the safety management of them is getting important. The study has been performed for suggesting improved methods in order to reduce safety accidents between aircraft and moving vehicles by introducing a safety management system for moving vehicles in airside of an airport. In order to improve the level of safety with the efficient management of moving vehicles in airside, the analysis of the domestic and international trends of the related technology and regulations has been performed. As a result, the conceptual design of safety management system has been suggested by utilizing the location information technology and four layers (hardware, network, middleware and application) approaches of safety management system.

A survey was conducted to investigate the relationship between knowledge of perceived food safety and actual food purchase practices among parents of children under the age of seven (N=309) in 2005. The seventeen following perceived food safety items were included in the survey (bovine spongiform encephalopathy, foot and mouth disease, pathogenic avian influenza, swine fever, allergens, GMO, irradiated food, food poisoning bacteria, endocrine disrupter, antibiotics, food additives, carcinogen, natural toxin, agrichemical residues, place of origin, cultivation methods, and heavy metal) Most parents were highly concerned about investigating all food safety topics. Up to 90.0% of the participants recognized the importance of food safety. The public concern has caused a considerable decline in the demand for food afterreceiving news about food safety through mass media, Also, the majority of subjects required correct food safety information.

Construction Management(CM) system, which was introduced some years ago to large national construction projects, such as the construction of Incheon New Airport, construction of high-speed railroad and World Cup stadiums, is considered to be still in its early stage and safety at each step of CM is very poorly controlled. In an attempt to improve such inferior safety control of domestic CM, this study analyzed safety control operation system in CM home and abroad and suggested a model for the construction of safety control management information system suitable to the conditions of Korea.

As the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution enters, the importance of software safety is increasing, but related systematic educational curriculum and trained professional engineers are insufficient. The purpose of this research is to propose the high priority elements for the software safety education program through needs analysis. For this purpose, 74 candidate elements of software safety education program were derived through contents analysis of literature and nominal group technique (NGT) process with five software safety professionals from various industries in South Korea. Targeting potential education participants including industrial workers and students, an on-line survey was conducted to measure the current and required level of each element. Using descriptive statistics, t-test, Borich needs assessment and Locus for focus model, 16 high priority elements were derived for software safety education program. Based on the results, suggestions were made to develop a more effective education program for software safety education.

기업의 운영에서 안전한 생산 근로 환경은 중요한 요소이며, 공급 사슬 관리상의 물류기업에도 필수적이다. 본 연구는 대형 물류기업과 계약을 체결하여 거래관계를 지속하고 있는 국내 중소 물류기업의 관점에서, 안전 분위기와 안전 예방 활동이 안전 행동과 긍정적인 관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 아울러, 앞선 긍정적인 관계에 규제 불확실성과 경쟁 불확실성의 조절적인 역할도 실증적으로 살펴보았다.

In past projects, the main goal has been to enhance efficiency by reducing cost and time. However, considering the current condition of safety management in many construction companies, it can be confirmed that safety management has not been a top priority for a long time. Current safety management, which is based on safety standards and rules, is very ineffective and only emphasizes management after an incident. As well, although fewer accidents occur compared to the past, because construction projects are increasingly large in scale and complex, these accidents tend to be more serious and involve greater monetary loss. Furthermore, as the severity of these accidents increases, so does the possibility of fatalities. Therefore, improving safety management is essential. This study proposes an effective program for safety management, focusing on the processes to connect studies and systems, and the basic techniques required for program development. To realize this program, technical tools are suggested, including systems such as BIM (Building Information Modeling); additionally, the coordination of other systems such as an RTLS, a server, and an alarm system is proposed.

미리 설정된 연계성이 없는 차량들 사이에 무선통신을 이용하여 긴급정지, 차량사고, 장애물 출현 등의 차량안전과 관련이 있는 정보를 주고받을 수 있는 지능적 차량안전 시스템을 구성될 수 있다 대부분의 차량안전 통신 응용 시스템에서 차량안전 메시지는 브로드캐스트의 형태로 전파된다. 이러한 브로드캐스트 형 전파방법은 다중 홉 전송과 패킷 충돌 문제로 그 성능과 효율성 측면에서 많은 문제를 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 교통사고 예방을 위한 차량안전메시지를 다중 홉 거리까지 효과적으로 전송하기 위해 우선순위 방식의 중계노드 선택방법을 제안하고 있다. 무선 전송반경에 포함된 여러 노드들 중에서 적정한 거리에 위치한 하나의 노드만 중계에 참여하도록 한다 따라서 중복 패킷의 수를 줄여 패킷 오버헤드를 낮추고 부가적으로 네트워크 성능의 향상도 얻고 있다. 제안된 방법의 성능은 네트워크 시뮬레이션을 통하여 여타의 방법에 비해 우수한 것으로 판명되었다.

Objectives: Hazard classification is a controversial issue in the new MSDS system in which chemical companies have to prepare and submit MSDS for chemicals that they manufacture or import to the competent authorities according to the amended Occupational Safety and Health Act. The aim of this study is to suggest how to apply and manage harmonized hazard classification criteria and results by investigating current hazard classification systems and trends. Methods: The domestic issues about different hazard classification criteria and results were investigated by reviewing the literature and business outcomes regarding KOSHA. We also checked official and unofficial reports from the UN to understand international discussion about the topic. Chemical hazard classification results from agencies providing chemical information were analyzed to compare a harmonized rate between classifications. Furthermore, a field survey of a few chemical companies was conducted. Results: Under the related competent authorities, an integrated standard proposal was developed to harmonize the domestic hazard classification criteria. Although harmonized chemical information is strongly needed, we recognized the uncertainty and difficulty of harmonized hazard classification from the UN global list project review. In practice the harmonization rate of the classification was generally low between the classification in KOSHA, MoE, and EU CLP. Among hazard classes, health hazards largely led the disharmony. The field survey revealed a change of perception that the main body of chemical information production is manufacturers. Approaches and solutions about hazard classification issues differed depending on business size, types of chemical handling, and other factors. Conclusions: We proposed reasonable ways by time and step to apply hazard classification in the new MSDS system. Chemical manufacturers should make and offer chemical information including responsible hazard classifications. The government should primarily accept these classifications, evaluate them by priority, and support or supervise workplaces in order to communicate reliable chemical information.

연구목적: 본 연구는 재난 발생 데이터와 실시간 기상·대기 관련 데이터를 수집하고 정제과정을 통하여 데이터베이스를 구축하고, API로 제공되는 공공 데이터와 연계하여 빅 데이터 기반의 도시안전지수의 서비스 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 연구방법: 재난 발생과 관련한 다양한 정보를 공공 데이터와 SNS를 활용하여 수집하고, 기계학습 알고리즘으로 분석한 결과를 중심으로 이용자 관심지역의 재난상황을 실시간 대시보드로 확인하고 대처하는 방법을 제공하고자 한다. 연구결과: 분야별 지역안전지수와 기상·대기의 상관관계가 높은 속성을 추출하여 예측모델과 비교하면 교통사고 분야의 지역안전지수는 기상·대기 데이터와 상당한 상관관계가 있음을 확인하였다. 결론: 기계학습 알고리즘 기반의 안전지수 예측모델을 생성하여 이용자 관심 지역에 분야별 안전지수를 지도에 표시하는 시스템을 제안하였다.

Recent changes in the global climate environment have resulted in a wide variety of climate-related disasters, including floods, tidal waves, forest fires, droughts, etc. In addition, global warming raises the risk of food poisoning, which may increase the spread of infectious diseases and alter their structure. Under these circumstances, it is necessary to provide accurate and persuasive information to consumers so that they can be fully informed of climate change and alter their behavior accordingly. Therefore, the intention of this study was to develop posters and contents for image production related to climate change and food safety. The posters are focused on consumers with headings such as "Climate Change Threatening Food Safety", "Earth getting warmer, your dining table is at risk", "Warning signs ahead for the globe", and more. Five poster drafts were selected initially, and a survey was carried out amongst 1,087 people regarding their preferences, with the most preferred design chosen. The images related to climate change and food safety defined climate change, how it relates to food safety, the risks it poses to the food industry, and lastly, how the public can respond in the future. Therefore, to further communicate the importance of food safety to consumers, the development, education, and promotion of these contents should be performed to provide safety information to consumers in the future.
