This study introduces 2007 criteria of Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award (MBNQA) for performance excellence. Baldridge criteria is composed of the seven categories such as leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, workforce focus, process management, and results. Moreover this paper proposes various integrated systems with MBNQA.

인맥을 기본으로 한 네트워크가 없으면 세일즈할 고객을 찾기도 어렵고, 직장을 구하고 쓸 만한 직원을 찾기도 힘들다. 직장생활을 하면서 아는 사람이 많다는 것은 큰 재산이 될 것이다. 어려운 일에 봉착했을때, 누군가의 도움이 절실히 필요하게 된다면 우선 떠올리는 것이 자기 인맥이다. 누구에서 어떤 일을 부탁해야 할까?, 어느 정도의 부탁을 해야 할까? 이런 고민은 대상이 누구인지, 또 자신과 어느 정도의 친분이 있는지에 따라 달라진다. 어려운 부탁을 해도 될 만한 인맥을 여럿 갖고 있다면 그 사람은 이미 반은 성공한 셈이다.

우리에게 있어서 꿈은 어떤 의미일까? 중간고사가 있던 어느 날 학교 도서관에서 밤을 셌던 적이 있었더랬다. 물론 시험기간에만 그랬지만, 우연히 앉은 자리에 무심코 칸막이에 적혀 있는 낙서를 보고 순간 꿈의 의미를 심각하게 생각했던 적이 있다. 낙서의 내용은 이러했다. "이 순간 잠을 자는 이는 꿈을 꾸지만, 잠을 이기는 자는 꿈을 이룰 것이다." 짧은 낙서기는 했지만 많은 것을 생각하게 했다. 과연 나에게 꿈은 있는지, 그 꿈을 이루기 위해 무엇을 하고 있는지. 이번 호에서는 자신의 목표를 이루기 위해 필요한 것들을 정리해 보자.

인기 운운하면 조금은 얄팍한 처세로 생각하기 쉬우나, 따지고 보면 부하로부터 인기가 있는 상사라야 발전과 장래가 기약된다. 예전에야 윗사람에게 잘 보이면 그런대로 출세가 가능했을지 모르지만 요즘 '신세대'에서는 그렇지 않다. 즉, 윗사람 못지않게 부하에게도 인정받는 상사가 되어야 한다는 이야기다. 더욱이 요즈음 젊은 직장인들은 직장의 상사를 단순한 기능적 서열로만 인식하는 경향이 있으므로 부하에게 '버르장머리'를 말하기 이전에 상사 자신이 예절에 관한 솔선수범이 있어야 진정한 리더십의 발휘가 가능하게 된다. 자신의 행동과 견주어서 고칠 것이 있다면 주저 없이 고쳐야 하며 아직‘상사’의 지위에 오르지 못한 직장인이라면 나중에 자신이 상사가 되었을 때 비례를 범하지 않도록 익혀두자.

This study focuses on improving quality management system of naval ships to enhance safety. Recently, there were problems caused by the lack of quality management system when building Korea naval ships. Foreign naval ships are designed and built through certification by professional organizations in the commercial sector to reduce budget and enhance ship safety. Merchant ships are designed, built, operated and maintained by the organizations in accordance with the Ship Safety Act. When naval ships are exported, the ordering country requires the certification from the international classification to ensure the safety and reliability of ships. Through this study, as a method of improving the quality management system of naval ships, design verification, equipment certification and construction survey using expertise of the organizations are proposed when designing and building the naval ships.

The purpose of this study is to study the effect of maritime police officials' servant leadership on positive psychological capital. The subjects of the study were 167 maritime police of icials, and the results of the analysis are as follows. First, it was found that servant leadership affects positive psychological capital. Specifically, in the case of sub-variables, growth support and ethical behavior had a positive (+) effect on self-efficacy. However, community value creation and emotional healing did not affect self-ef icacy. Second, growth support and ethical behavior were found to have a positive (+) effect on optimism. However, community values and emotional healing did not affect optimism. Third, growth support, ethical behavior, and community value creation were found to have a positive (+) effect on resilience. However, emotional healing did not affect resilience. These results will serve as basic data for the human management of the maritime police.

The aim of onboard training of apprentice engineers in the training ship is to support and enhance fundamental knowledge and ability to have both theoretical and practical skills. This diversity in education and training improve the capability to handle problems in a crisis and build-up the feeling of confidence so they can effectively accomplish their assigned tasks in special circumstance like those onboard. Therefore this study suggests some remedies for qualitative improvement and guidance of onboard training ship for apprentice engineers to achieve the aims of onboard training to foster talented marine engineer officers with professional knowledge and leadership.

지난 60년간 일본, 한국, 중국은 물론이고 아시아에서의 공정 산업은 크게 성장했다. 그 발전과정에서 다양한 사고들을 겪고 극복해내는 과정이 있었으며, 최근 한국의 화학물질관리법을 포함하여 안전 기술 및 안전 관리에 많은 진전 또한 있었다. 이 발표의 서두에서는 한국의 공정산업의 역사적 발전에 대해 뒤돌아보며 당면 과제들에 대한 논의를 전개하고자 한다. 장기적인 경제발전의 일환으로 중화학공업 육성을 표방하며, 초기 단계에 정부주도의 적극적인 산업 발전 계획을 수립해 산업의 성장을 주도하였으며, 1990년대에는 어려움을 극복하기 위해 시장 중심의 구조 조정이 도입되었다. 지난 30년 동안 한국사회에서는 가스 폭발, 건물 붕괴, 화물 및 여객선의 사고를 비롯한 치명적인 사고들이 있었다. 이러한 사고 후에는 필연적으로 안전 정책 및 법률에 중요한 발전이 있었는데, 가장 최근의 것은 2012년 유독 가스 배출 사고 이후 화학물질관리법(Chemical Control Act)을 시행한 것이다. 또한 앞으로 20년간 (2036 년까지) 다양한 구성요소의 수준을 정량화할 수 있는 지속 가능성 개념에 대한 강한 요구가 있음은 주지의 사실이다. 지속 가능성의 새로운 패러다임은 에너지, 경제 및 환경의 전통적인 구성 요소로 구성된다. 더불어 지속 가능성은 안전, 보안 및 세계화(globalization)를 다루어야 한다. 미래의 지속 가능성 개념은 이러한 6가지 구성 요소 모두를 하나의 기능으로 정량적으로 통합할 것이다. 특히 이 작업에 대한 강력한 리더십은 화학 공정 산업에서 절대적으로 부족한 현실이기에, 이러한 기능의 통합과 특화된 교육 및 훈련에 대해 한국의 사례와 해외에서의 글로벌 응용 프로그램에 대란 논의를 통해 본 발표는 향후의 발전방향과 비전에 대해 논의하고자 한다.

Interprofessional collaboration is crucial for patient-centered care and safety. Since healthcare students will be part of interprofessional teams in the future, they need to understand the unique contributions of various healthcare professions to patient care and develop skills in collaboration, communication, leadership, and mutual respect. In response to this need, healthcare faculties have adopted interprofessional education as an innovative teaching method. However, traditional health education has typically taken place within individual schools, resulting in a limited understanding of other professional roles and identities. In our study, we introduced an interprofessional education model involving two different colleges. A total of 152 undergraduate students, comprising 101 medical students from Chung Ang University and 51 nursing students from Sungshin Women's University, participated in the program. A one-day interprofessional education program was conducted to promote collaboration between medical and nursing students. The program included team building and communication games, scenario-based simulations, such as a "room of errors," and tabletop exercises. Key factors for successful interprofessional education include carefully planned scheduling, leadership, and commitment from participating colleges, faculty support and training, the use of diverse teaching methods and technology, and alignment regarding educational directions among the faculty. We believe that this model may provide valuable insights for healthcare institutions aiming to develop and implement interprofessional curricula.
