  • This paper presents the maximum-power control simulation for PMA-SynRM. For maximum power, the maximum torque / current control method is conducted in constant-torque range and flux-weakening control method is conducted in constant-power range. For considering the nonlinear characteristics of inductance, machine constant is determined by FEM. Finally, experiment is conducted to calculate the efficiency.

  • 본 논문은 PMASynRM과 SynRM의 토크, 속도응답, 효율등을 실험을 통해 비교분석 하였다. 이러한 비교는 같은 조건상태에서의 PMASynRM이 SynRM보다 성능이 저가의 영구자석(ferrite)을 삽입함으로서 개선됨을 확인 하였다.

Comparison of Stereoselectivity in the Reactions of Crotylmetal Reagents with Dicobalt Hexacarbonyl-Complexed and Uncomplexed Propynals

  • The diastereoselectivity of addition reaction of crotylmetal reagents to cobalt-complexed acetylenic aldehydes and metal-free aldehydes was examined. The anti-diastereomer was the predominant product when the crotyl metallics were Cr, Sn, and Zr. In THF, the uncomplexed aldehydes normally gave higher anti-diastereoselectivity. However, the cobalt-complex of silicon-substituted propynals with three bulky substituents produced increased proportions of syn-diastereomer. In DMF, the selectivity shifted towards syn-isomer except in the case of dimethylphenylsilyl substituent. When tributylstannane was used in the presence of BF3 etherate, moderate syn- selectivity was observed with uncomplexed aldehydes, but only decomposed products from complexed aldehydes.

High Efficiency Drive Technique for Synchronous Reluctance Motors Using a Neural Network

  • A high efficiency drive technique for synchronous reluctance motors (SynRM) using a neural network (NN) is presented in this paper. High efficiency drive condition depends on the mathematical model of SynRM. A NN is employed as an adaptive model of SynRM. The proposed high efficiency drive technique does not require an accurate mathematical model of SynRM. Moreover, the proposed method shows robustness against machine parameter variations because the training algorithm of the NN is executed on-line. The usefulness of the proposed method is confirmed through experimentation.

  • This paper is proposed an efficiency optimization control algorithm for a synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) which minimizes the copper and iron losses. Also, this paper presents a speed estimated control scheme of SynRM using artificial neural network(ANN). There exists a variety of combinations of d and q-axis current which provide a specific motor torque. The objective of the efficiency optimization controller is to seek a combination of d and q-axis current components, which provides minimum losses at a certain operating point in steady state. It is shown that the current components which directly govern the torque production have been very well regulated by the efficiency optimization control scheme. The proposed algorithm allows the electromagnetic losses in variable speed and torque drives to be reduced while keeping good torque control dynamics. The control performance of ANN is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. Analysis results are presented to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

  • This paper deals with optimum design criteria to minimize the torque ripple of a concentrated winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor(SynRM) using Response Surface Methodology(RSM). The feasibility of using RSM with the finite element method(FEM) in practical engineering problem is investigated with omputational examples and comparison between the fitted response and the results obtained from an analytical solution according to the design variables of stator and rotor in concentrated winding SynRM(6slot). The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation on the basis of load condition in a Concentrated Winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor and distributed Winding Synchronous Reluctance Motor.

고 알루미나질 내화물에 미치는 Mullite의 영향(II) (Effect of Mullite on High Alumina Refractory (II))

  • 본 연구에서는 Seed 첨가법에 의하여 제조된 mullite(Syn M)와 외국산 mullite 2종류(sintered mullite : SM, fused mullite : FM)를 고알루미나질 내화물 원료에 적용하여 내화물 시편을 제조하였으며 mullite에 따른 결정상, 미세구조, 부피비중, 강도를 조사하였다. SM, FM, Syn M의 mullite 함유량은 93.17%, 86.79%, 97.57%이었으며 mullite를 15 wt% 첨가하여 제조한 시편의 물성을 조사한 결과 Syn M을 함유한 시편이 꺾임강도 338.60 MPa, 압축강도 9,427kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$을 나타내었다. 외국산 mullite를 첨가한 시편의 강도는 Syn M을 첨가한 것보다 약 5~10% 정도 낮은 강도를 보였다.

  • This paper presents the application of response surface methodology (RSM) to design optimization for two types of synchronous reluctance motors (SynRMs); one has 12 slots with distributed winding, and the other has 6 slots with concentrated winding, to improve the ratio between torque ripple and average torque. The usefulness of RSM in optimization problem of SynRM is verified as compared with the results of finite element analysis. In the end, the optimized two SynRMs are compared with SynRM currently used in air-conditioning compressor in connection with torque performance and loss.

  • This paper deal with the efficiency evaluations in a Synchronous reluctance motor(SynRM) Vs. PMASynRM using a coupled transient finite element methed(FEM) and preisach modeling, which is presented to analyze the characteristics under the effect of saturation and hysteresis loss. The focus of this paper is the efficiency evaluation relative to hysteresis loss, copper loss, etc. on the basis of load condition in a SynRM and PMASynRM. Computer simulation and experimental result for the efficiency using dynamometer shoe the propriety of the proposed method.
