In the promotion of Chinese language, the funding that Confucius Institutes can rely on only comes from Hanban. From 2009 to 2014, the number of new Confucius Institutes opened is much higher than before. With the increasing number of Confucius Institutes established in various countries, the funding for promoting Chinese language has limited its development. The development situation of Confucius Institutes in Australia is diversified with very rich experience. The market-oriented development of Confucius Institutes has also tried many times. The Confucius Institutes in the Lancang-Mekong region have less experience but they can learn from various experiences from Australia to provide better ideas and paths for the development of Confucius Institutes in this region and the promotion of Chinese. This paper uses the strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat (SWOT) model to analyze the market feasibility of financial support for the development of Confucius Institutes and makes certain suggestions for the promotion of Chinese language in the Lancang-Mekong region.

This paper aims at examining the Korea export competitiveness of robot industry and presenting the strategy to improve capability of robot industry under Korea-US FTA. For the purpose, the current status and environment of Korea-US robot industry and the core points of Korea-US FTA are analyzed. In addition, using SWOT analysis of Korean robot field, we analyzed the characteristics of Korean robot industry and proposed the strategy for export expansion and strength of export competitiveness. Through above analyzation and strategies, we found out that Korea robot industry have some advantage to go into the US market and get the opportunity to improve the export capability though Korea-US FTA. In conclusion, to improve current status and to get the competitiveness, government and companies related with robot industry should recognize and utilize Korea-US FTA effect significantly.

The paradigm of IT ecosystem has been rapidly changing into open ecosystem irrespective of the territory on which the device, software and contents are located. IT venture ecosystem which can compete and collaborate with the global companies is really needed because the global opportunity of IT venture company has been expanding. Research model based on PEST-SWOT-AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model was employed to analyze the current status and problems of IT venture ecosystem in Korea. Survey was conducted with 20 experts who are involved in venture companies, university, R&D research institute, and investment companies as a working group supported by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE). The empirical result showed that global promotion of IT ventures, coexistence and development of large enterprises and ventures, revitalization of investment infrastructure, and building of smart venture ecosystem are derived to revitalize IT venture ecosystem and suggested global revitalization model for smart IT venture ecosystem.

The number of dementia patients in Korea is expected to increase to 3.30 million in 2050, and the cost of dementia management will increase sharply to KRW 106.5 trillion of GDP. In August 2017, the Moon Jae-in government announced the 'Dementia National Responsibility System' through a five-year plan for government operation and expanded the Dementia Peace Center nationwide. However, for this, strategic dementia-related technology development strategies should be established and given the role of government and the role of the private sector. Therefore, in order to derive the corresponding strategy, this study developed the government's 'dementia' response technology development strategy through the situation analysis from the political, economic, social, and technological perspective and the environmental (PEST) analysis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). As a result, the direction of technology development in the dementia-related medical device market is expected to become a trend of developing dementia self-measurement by developing low-cost and high-efficiency diagnostic technology products. It has been shown that the development of various products for consumers should begin. As a result, the dementia market approach strategy should be premised, the related technical support and legal restrictions should be minimized, and the education of related experts should be strengthened to solve the government's development of dementia technology and the social problems of dementia. In addition, by developing joint projects with major companies around the world and actively participating in the technology platform, it is important to naturally build up skills accumulation for the development of dementia technology and competence skills of dementia technology experts in the long term.

This paper releases strategies for firms that wish to enter into online circulation business in China. SWOT based on a Korean manufacturing company teaches us better way to approach Chinese online market. Chinese online market is under oligopoly, where Alibaba and Jingdong account for about 80% of the total market. Game theory is used as a measure of threat and opportunity between Korean manufacturer and Chinese online market retailer. Game shows that they are easy to accept opportunity and sales uplift rather than low risk. Analysis shows that Korean companies should improve its products and brand competitiveness in the offline market before entering into the Chinese online retail market. They need to prepare a localization model.

Disasters and crises are spreading across the globe, and there has been an increase in the number disasters in northeast Asia, such as earthquakes in Sichuan, China, and East Japan. This study aims to propose a plan to attract facilities from the United Nations Humanitarian Response Depot (UNHRD). Although there are no prior domestic studies, the study focuses on the role of intangible benefits, values, and economic outcomes in attracting facilities. Based on an analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) of Korea's host environment, using the UN's annual report and Korea's overseas emergency relief data, the study will analyze the status of relevant UN organizations and derive detailed strategies. In order to attract facilities from the UNHRD, it will be necessary to build and promote a cooperative system with domestic and foreign NGO experts in humanitarian assistance and joint proposals from government departments and local governments. In the long-run, it will be necessary to work closely with the relevant UN agencies to achieve strategic progress.

The paradigm of SW industry has been rapidly changing into mobile and cloud technology environment. Research model based on PEST-SWOT analysis was employed to derive internal and external factors connected with PEST factors through analyzing the current status and problems of SW HRD system in Korea. Survey was conducted by 20 experts who are involved in SW companies, university, and R&D research institute using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) model. The empirical result showed that SW fusion HRD, creativity-oriented university education in the field of software, global education and exchange, and revitalization of SW venture ecosystem are derived as policy visions of SW HRD for smart industry ecosystem. Another findings are that SW fusion HRD, revitalization of SW venture ecosystem, Job Creation through revitalization of SW start-up, Creation of coexistence between SW large enterprises and SMEs, creativity-oriented university education in the field of software, and global education and exchange are presented in order in terms of the importance of policy priority.
