The aims of this study is to suggest the strategic development plan of Ulsan Port using SWOT/AHP method. In order to do this, 16 detailed factors for SWOT Matrix were identified both from previous studies and from brainstorming professionals of the port and these made into a 3 level hierarchy structure. AHP method identified the relative weight of SWOT level as threat(0.311), opportunity(0.259), strength(0.218) and weakness(0.212), also the composite relative weight of detailed factors as recession of global economy(0.125), strengthening of economic function in port(0.085), insufficiency of port facilities(0.080) and a government regulation of port management(0.075). As a result, the study suggests S/T strategy, W/T strategy, S/O strategy, W/O strategy as a strategic development plan of the Ulsan Port.

미래 산업 유지를 위하여 세계적으로 지속가능한 에너지의 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 다양한 신재생 에너지 중 수소에너지는 청정에너지로서 각광받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 수소에너지산업 인프라 구축시에 필요한 전략 수립을 위하여 SWOT/AHP 분석을 적용하였다. 우선 수소에너지 산업 인프라 구축시 요구되는 요인들을 추출하였고, SWOT matrix를 재구성하기 위하여 전문가의 의견을 조사하였다. 쌍대비교를 하여 개발된 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 알기 위하여 AHP 분석을 실시하였다. SWOT 분석과 AHP 분석을 적용하여 얻은 연구 결과를 기초로 하여 향후 수소에너지산업 인프라와 관련된 전략 계획의 수립 방안을 제시하였다.

Purpose - This study presents strategies to overcome the COVID-19-induced crisis in Korea's meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry. It aims to quantitatively identify the environmental factors affecting the industry and their degree of influence, and derive optimal countermeasures. Design/methodology - The study applied the SWOT-AHP-TOWS framework. An AHP analysis was first performed within the SWOT frame, and then a TOWS analysis was conducted using the results of the SWOT-AHP analysis. In the AHP analysis, the number of pairwise comparison questions was limited to four for each SWOT factor to increase the consistency of responses by reducing the burden on respondents. Findings - The plunge in demand (threats factor) has had an overwhelming impact on the MICE industry, more than any other environmental factor. To overcome the crisis, the ST alternative that takes advantage of dynamic pop culture to minimize the business damage caused by the plunge in demand was the top priority measure. Based on the results, this study presents suggestions for overcoming the crisis in the MICE industry. First, the industry should develop profitable business models to supplement scarce financial resources by exploiting Korea's success with quarantine management. Second, the government must provide emergency relief funds or bailout support to protect MICE facilities and employees. Originality/value - Unlike previous work on the MICE industry, this study utilized the SWOT-AHPTOWS framework to derive quick research results in an abnormal situation. This approach can be expanded to other countries with different industrial environments and situations. Additionally, when applying this method to MICE sub-sectors, countermeasures should be tailored to each field.

부산항은 세계 6위의 컨테이너 항만이자 국내 1위의 수출입 항만이다. 급변하는 대외 환경과 심화되는 글로벌 항만 간 경쟁으로 부산항 경쟁력의 유지 및 향상이 쉽지 않다. 부산항은 국가 산업적으로 매우 중요한 산업 인프라임에도 최근 부산항 발전전략을 다룬 연구는 경쟁요인의 일부분만을 다루거나, 전략들에 대한 우선순위 제시가 부족했다. 본 연구는 선행연구와 전문가 검토를 통해 부산항 경쟁력 평가요인에 대한 SWOT 매트릭스를 도출하고, 이를 기반으로 계층분석구조 모형을 구성하였다. 다음으로 산학연관 전문가를 대상으로 SWOT·AHP 설문지를 배포, 분석하여 부산항의 발전에 중요한 경쟁력 요인들에 대한 우선순위를 제시하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 부산항 발전방향에 대한 S/O, S/T, W/O, W/T 전략방향 및 과제를 제시하였다. 본 연구가 국가의 부산항 운영과 발전전략 수립에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대해본다.

Purpose - Identify the priorities of important factors through SWOT/AHP analysis method for vitalization of global marine sports in Korea. Through this, we will identify prerequisites and strategies for Korean marine sports to become a global powerhouse, including revitalizing the Korean Wave for Chinese consumers. It also revitalizes global competitiveness and draws policy implications. Research design and methodology - Through interviews with experts and literature data, elements of important opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of marine sports are summarized. Based on this SWOT, the AHP technique is applied to determine which is first and what is important between the factors that save opportunities and increase strengths, and measures to cope with threats and factors that complement weaknesses. Through this, the priority factor of experts suggests a plan for activating strategic marine sports. Results - First, the current status of marine sports in Korea and the perception of consumers are grasped through current data and literature research. Sub-elements are derived based on the theoretical literature on SWOT elements and opinions of experts. Prioritization is identified based on the AHP questionnaire of Korean experts. Conclusions - The strategy was derived through SWOT/AHP analysis, and the following implications were obtained. Regionally, Busan is psychologically and geographically adjacent to China and Japan. It is also an area where human exchanges are actively taking place along with the volume of imports and exports. Due to the increase in China's marine sports industry and population, it is necessary to expand the scope of Korea to marine sports beyond cosmetics, dramas, movies, and Korean waves (Hallyu) stars.

항만의 생산성 및 효율성에 대한 관심이 증대되고 정부주도의 항만관리와 운영체제에 대한 비효율성을 개선하기 위하여 항만공사제도의 도입이 국내 외적으로 보편화되었다. 국내에서도 2003년 항만공사법이 제정되어 2005년 7월에 인천항만공사가 출범하였다. 본 연구는 인천항만공사의 설립 목적을 극대화하기 위하여 SWOT/AHP 분석기법을 이용하여 인천항만공사의 강점, 약점, 기회, 위협요인을 파악하고 우선순위별로 인천항만공사의 발전 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석의 결과 인천항만공사는 사업영역확대 및 성장가능성, 인천항의 지리적 우수성 등의 강점을 확보하고 있으며, 황해권 물동량의 지속적 증가, 자유무역지대의 확대지정 등의 기회요인을 가지고 있다. 반면 정부의 투-포트시스템 정책, 중국 의존성의 가속화 심화, 국내 외 경쟁항만의 급부상 등 위협요인과 인천항만시설의 노후화 가속, 부족한 항만배후부지 등의 약점요인을 가지고 있다. 이러한 SWOT분석 결과를 근거로 계층분석적 의사결정(AHP) 방법을 이용하여 인천항만공사의 발전 방안인 S/O 전략, W/O 전략, S/T 전략, W/T 전략을 제시하였다.

Purpose Seoul Digital Industrial Complex has remarkably grown both quantitatively and qualitatively in short period of time since it started restructuring project in 1997. It's also not few that there were various challenges and difficulties in this industrial complex due to fast growth in short-term, such as the deficient amenities, noncooperation among the related organizations. Now, it's time to overcome these challenges and difficulties to establish new strategy for the sustainable growth and development of this Industrial Complex. Methodology There are some previous researches but almost none of them considered the priority order of the development strategy having reflected the needs of industrial complex in point of customer. In this regard, this study suggests the development strategy of Seoul Digital Industrial Complex by supplementing the limits of proceeding researches and using the combined SWOT/AHP analysis theory. Findings Based on the final analysis result of survey by combined SWOT/AHP method, this study suggests the priority order of 4 development strategies for Seoul Digital Industrial Complex, such as SO strategy, ST strategy, WO strategy and WT strategy.

Recently the concentration of fine dust and ultra fine dust becomes so bad, which seriously threatens the health and even the life of people. So, government started to investigate several ways to reduce the amount of fine dust and ultra fine dust. From a few years ago it has been known that ships anchored at port emit a lot of pollution and seriously affect air quality of neighboring cities. To reduce the pollution emitted by ship AMP (Alternative Maritime Power Supply) has been proposed, which uses the electricity instead of bunker C oil or diesel. Many developed countries already installed AMP to improve air quality in port area. Korea is in the stage of planning to install AMP at port. However, there are many complicated problems to be handled before AMP installation. Due to huge initial cost and long period of construction ship owner and habour operating company are reluctant to AMP installation. And there are serious technological difficulties in constructing AMP in existing harbour. Lack of AMP core technology and operational difficulties of AMP are also big challenges to be conquered. In this study SWOT/AHP method is used to find strategic and efficient ways to handle above complicated challenges and then to vitalize the AMP installation.

본 연구는 북측 경제특구인 개성공단을 활용한 신발전용단지 조성의 필요성과 가능성을 확보하고자 한다. 이는 남북 상생협력모델을 통해 한국 신발산업의 활성화를 위한 전략적 가치를 모색하는 정책제안이다. SWOT-AHP 분석 방법을 이용하여 신발산업의 지속가능성을 위해 개성공단 신발전용단지 활용 전략을 수립하고자 한다. 국내 신발산업이 직면한 산업구조적인 문제들을 남북협력의 가능성 측면에서 극복방향을 제시하고 있다. 분석결과로 'SO 전략'은 남북의 신발클러스터를 통한 남북협력 K-슈벨트 구축 제안이다. 'WO 전략'은 개성공단 신발전용단지의 국제화 전략이다. 'ST 전략'은 대북제재 해소를 위한 신발전용단지 조성의 유연한 거버넌스 활용이다. 'WT 전략'은 개성공단 재개를 위한 남북의 신발산업이 평화경제 인식의 패러다임 전환이다.

본 연구의 목적은 부산 신항 배후 물류단지의 경쟁력을 강화하고, 부산 신항 물류창고의 발전 전략을 모색하는 것이다. 본 고는 SWOT/AHP 분석기법을 활용하여 부산 신항 물류창고 종사자들에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 부산 신항 물류창고의 경쟁력을 위한 SWOT 그룹별 속성요인을 추출하고 세부 평가속성 요인별 상대적 중요도를 실증 분석하여 도출하였다. 부산 신항 물류창고의 경쟁력 강화 전략으로 S/O 전략, S/T 전략, W/O 전략, W/T 전략을 제시하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 부산 신항 물류창고의 경쟁력 확보에 대한 전략제시와 해당 지역 및 물류산업의 경제적 이익 창출 효과를 기대하는 바이다.
