A Study on Target Acquisition and Tracking to Develop ARPA Radar (ARPA 레이더 개발을 위한 물표 획득 및 추적 기술 연구)

  • ARPA(Automatic Radar Plotting Aid) is a device to calculate CPA(closest point of approach)/TCPA(time of CPA), true course and speed of targets by vector operation of relative courses and speeds. The purpose of this study is to develop target acquisition and tracking technology for ARPA Radar implementation. After examining the previous studies, applicable algorithms and technologies were developed to be combined and basic ARPA functions were developed as a result. As for main research contents, the sequential image processing technology such as combination of grayscale conversion, gaussian smoothing, binary image conversion and labeling was deviced to achieve a proper target acquisition, and the NNS(Nearest Neighbor Search) algorithm was appllied to identify which target came from the previous image and finally Kalman Filter was used to calculate true course and speed of targets as an analysis of target behavior. Also all technologies stated above were implemented as a SW program and installed onboard, and verified the basic ARPA functions to be operable in practical use through onboard test.

  • This research aims to investigate elementary school teacher's perception and needs of computer and information literacy education to provide basic materials so that computer and information literacy education converges with related subject and can be done in various educational contexts. In order to achieve the goal for this research, we conducted an online questionnaire survey on the current status of teachers, the perception and status of convergence education for computer and information literacy, and the needs for convergence education for computer and information literacy. As a result of the analysis, when the teacher majored in computer and information education or had experience in software education, the percentage of respondents who said that it is possible to converge for computer and information literacy is high. Also, It was found that the burden of following the class progress according to the curriculum was high. In the school environment, preparation for software tool was found to be insufficient. we suggested the strategic implications in terms of education direction, teacher training, education program, and learning tool based on the analysis results.

  • In accordance with information security compliance and security regulations, there is a need to develop regular and real-time concepts for cyber-infringement attacks against network system vulnerabilities in branch and periodic forms. Vulnerability Analysis Analysis It is judged that it will be a countermeasure against new hacking attack in case of concept validation by interworking with TOOL. Vulnerability check module is standardized in event attribute management and ease of operation. Opening in terms of global sharing of vulnerability data, owasp zap / Angry ip Etc. were investigated in the SIEM system with interlocking design implementation method. As a result, it was proved that the inspection events were monitored and transmitted to the SIEM console by the vulnerability module of web and network target.   • Cases in which personal terminals or servers are infected by ransomware are rapidly increasing. Ransomware uses a self-developed encryption module or combines existing symmetric key/public key encryption modules to illegally encrypt files stored in the victim system using a key known only to the attacker. Therefore, in order to decrypt it, it is necessary to know the value of the key used, and since the process of finding the decryption key takes a lot of time, financial costs are eventually paid. At this time, most of the ransomware malware is included in a hidden form in binary files, so when the program is executed, the user is infected with the malicious code without even knowing it. Therefore, in order to respond to ransomware attacks in the form of binary files, it is necessary to identify the encryption module used. Therefore, in this study, we developed a mechanism that can detect and identify by reverse analyzing the encryption module applied to the malicious code hidden in the binary file.

  • The evolution of new digital technologies is progressing rapidly. In particular, many changes in software and artificial intelligence are progressing rapidly in the field of education. The Ministry of Education is planning an educational program by linking software and artificial intelligence regular curriculum. Before applying it to regular subjects, various software and artificial intelligence related experience camps are being promoted. This study aims to construct an educational model for software and artificial intelligence education programs for high school students based on new digital technology. By expanding and distributing software and artificial intelligence education, we aim to enhance the basic capabilities of software and artificial intelligence for high school students. I would like to define the concept of software and artificial intelligence in high school and propose a model that links software and artificial intelligence learning factors to the regular curriculum.

Basin modelling with a MATLAB-based program, BasinVis 2.0: A case study on the southern Vienna Basin, Austria (MATLAB 기반의 프로그램 BasinVis 2.0을 이용한 분지 모델링: 오스트리아 비엔나 분지의 남부 지역에 대한 사례 연구)

  • Basin analysis is a research field to understand the formation and evolution of sedimentary basins. This task requires various geoscientific datasets as well as numerical and graphical modelling techniques to synthesize results dimensionally in time and space. For basin analysis and modelling in a comprehensive workflow, BasinVis 1.0 was released as a MATLAB-based program in 2016, and recently the software has been extended to BasinVis 2.0, with new functions and revised user-interface. As a case study, this work analyses the southern Vienna Basin and visualizes the sedimentation setting and subsidence evolution to introduce the basin modelling functions of BasinVis 2.0. This is a preliminary study for a basin-scale modelling of the Vienna Basin, together with our previous studies using BasinVis 1.0. In the study area, during the late Early Miocene, sedimentation and subsidence are significant along strike-slip and en-echelon listric normal faults. From the Middle Miocene onwards, however, subsidence decreases abruptly over the area and this situation continues until the Late Miocene. This is related to the development of the pull-apart system and corresponds to the episodic tectonic subsidence in strike-slip basins. The subsidence of the Middle Miocene is confined mainly to areas along the strike-slip faults, while, from the late Middle Miocene, the depocenter shifts to a depression along the N-S trending listric normal faults. This corresponds to the regional paleostress regime transitioning from NE-SW trending transtension to E-W trending extension. This study applies various functions and techniques to this case study, and the modelled results demonstrate that BasinVis 2.0 is effective and applicable to the basin modelling.

The Effect of Social-cultural Attitude toward Appearance and Appearance Complex on Semi-permanent Treatment Satisfaction (외모에 대한 사회문화적 태도 및 외모 콤플렉스가 반영구화장 시술 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study verified the moderating effect of the influence of the reference group on the effect of socio-cultural attitude toward appearance and appearance complex on semi-permanent makeup satisfaction. To this end, a survey was conducted on 210 people who had undergone semi-permanent makeup and the results were obtained. The results were analyzed through the SPSS program, and the results are as follows. The recognition of the social importance of appearance among social-cultural attitudes toward appearance had a significant effect on satisfaction with the procedure. The self-conscious appearance complex had a significant effect on the satisfaction with the procedure. It was found that the influence of the reference group had a moderating effect on the effect of internalization, which is a social-cultural attitude toward appearance, on the satisfaction with the procedure. showed Both the appearance complex caused by others, the appearance complex, and the self-conscious appearance complex showed a moderating effect of the reference group effect in the effect on the satisfaction of semi-permanent procedures. Lastly, it was found that the higher the satisfaction with the semi-permanent procedure, the higher the number of additional treatment in the future.

Tumorigenesis after Injection of Lung Cancer Cell Line (SW-900 G IV) into the Pleural Cavity of Nude Mice (누드마우스의 흉강에 폐암세포주의 주입에 의한 종양형성과 HER2/neu와 TGF-${\beta}_1$의 발현)

  • Background: Base on types of tumor, the types of expressed tumor is diverse and the difference in its expression rate is even more various. Due to such reasons an animal model is absolutely needed for a clinical research of lung cancer. The author attempted oncogenesis by cultivating a cell line of non-small cell carcinoma and then injecting it inside thoracic cavities of nude mice. The author conducted quantitative analyses of HER2/neu tumor gene - an epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) related to lung cancer, and TGF-${\beta}_1$, which acts as a resistance to cell growth inhibition and malignant degeneration. In order to investigate achievability of the oncogenesis, histological changes and the expression of cancer gene in case of orthotopic lung cancer is necessary. Material and Method: Among 20 immunity-free male BALB/c, five nude mice were selected as the control group and rest as the experimental group. Their weights ranged from 20 to 25 gm (Orient, Japan). After injection of lung cancer line (SW900 G IV) into the pleural cavity of nude mice, They were raised at aseptic room for 8 weeks. HER2/neu was quantitatively analyzed by separating serum from gathered blood via chemiluminiscent immunoassay (CLIA), and immunosandwitch method was applied to quantitatively analyze TGF-${\beta}_1$. SPSS statistical program (SPSS Version 10.0, USA) was implemented for statistical analysis. Student T test was done, and cases in which p-value is less than 0.05 were considered significant. Result: Even after lung cancer was formed in the normal control group or after intentionally injected lung cancer cell line, no amplification of HER2/neu gene showed reaction. However, the exact quantity of TGF-${\beta}_1$ was $28,490{\pm}8,549pg/mL$, and the quantity in the group injected with lung cancer cell was $42,362{\pm}14,449pg/mL$, meaning 1.48 times highly Significant (p<0.483). It proved that HER2/neu gene TGF-${\beta}_1$ had no meaningful interconnection. Conclusion: TGF-${\beta}_1$ gene expressed approximately 1.48 times amplification in comparison to the control group. The amplification of TGF-${\beta}_1$ meant somatic recuperation inhibition mechanism due to carcinogenesis in nude mice was definitely working. It may be implemented as a quantitative analysis that allows early detection of lung cancer in human body.

  • As the era of space technology utilization is approaching, the launch of CAS (Compact Advanced Satellite) 500-1/2 satellites is scheduled during 2021 for acquisition of high-resolution images. Accordingly, the increase of image usability and processing efficiency has been emphasized as key design concepts of the CAS 500-1/2 ground station. In this regard, "CAS 500-1/2 Image Acquisition and Utilization Technology Development" project has been carried out to develop core technologies and processing systems for CAS 500-1/2 data collecting, processing, managing and distributing. In this paper, we introduce the results of the above project. We developed an operation system to generate precision images automatically with GCP (Ground Control Point) chip DB (Database) and DEM (Digital Elevation Model) DB over the entire Korean peninsula. We also developed the system to produce ortho-rectified images indexed to 1:5,000 map grids, and hence set a foundation for ARD (Analysis Ready Data)system. In addition, we linked various application software to the operation system and systematically produce mosaic images, DSM (Digital Surface Model)/DTM (Digital Terrain Model), spatial feature thematic map, and change detection thematic map. The major contribution of the developed system and technologies includes that precision images are to be automatically generated using GCP chip DB for the first time in Korea and the various utilization product technologies incorporated into the operation system of a satellite ground station. The developed operation system has been installed on Korea Land Observation Satellite Information Center of the NGII (National Geographic Information Institute). We expect the system to contribute greatly to the center's work and provide a standard for future ground station systems of earth observation satellites.

The Development of Software Teaching-Learning Model based on Machine Learning Platform (머신러닝 플랫폼을 활용한 소프트웨어 교수-학습 모형 개발)

  • The society we are living in has being changed to the age of the intelligent information society after passing through the knowledge-based information society in the early 21st century. In this study, we have developed the instructional model for software education based on the machine learning which is a field of artificial intelligence(AI) to enhance the core competencies of learners required in the intelligent information society. This model is focusing on enhancing the core competencies through the process of problem-solving as well as reducing the burden of learning about AI itself. The specific stages of the developed model are consisted of seven levels which are 'Problem Recognition and Analysis', 'Data Collection', 'Data Processing and Feature Extraction', 'ML Model Training and Evaluation', 'ML Programming', 'Application and Problem Solving', and 'Share and Feedback'. As a result of applying the developed model in this study, we were able to observe the positive response about learning from the students and parents. We hope that this research could suggest the future direction of not only the instructional design but also operation of software education program based on machine learning.
