Effects of Deposition Parameters on TiN Film by Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapor Deposition(I) -Influence of Temperature on the TiN Deposition- (플라즈마 화학 증착법(PACVD)에 의한 TiN 증착시 증착변수가 미치는 영향(I) -증착온도를 중심으로-)

  • To investigate the influence of temperature on the TiN film, it was deposited on the STC-3 steel and Si-wafer from $TiCl_4/N_2/H_2$ gas mixture by using the radio frequency plasma assisted chemical vapor deposition. The deposition was performed at temperature of $400^{\circ}C-500^{\circ}C$. The results showed that crystalline TiN film was deposited over $480^{\circ}C$, and all specimens showed the crystalline TiN X-ray diffraction peaks after vacuum heat treatment for 3 hrs, at $1000^{\circ}C$, $10^{-5}torr$. While the film thickness was increased above $480^{\circ}C$, it was decreased under $480^{\circ}C$ as temperature increased. And the contents of titanium were increased and it of chlorine were decreased as temperature increased. Because temperature increase was attributed to the increase in the density of TiN film, surface hardness of TiN film was increased with temperature.

Accurate MATLAB Simulink PV System Simulator Based on a Two-Diode Model

  • This paper proposes a MATLAB Simulink simulator for photovoltaic (PV) systems. The main contribution of this work is the utilization of a two-diode model to represent a PV cell. This model is known to have better accuracy at low irradiance levels which allows for a more accurate prediction of PV system performance. To reduce computational time, the input parameters are reduced to four and the values of $R_p$ and $R_s$ are estimated by an efficient iteration method. Furthermore, all of the inputs to the simulator are information available on a standard PV module datasheet. The simulator supports large array simulations that can be interfaced with MPPT algorithms and power electronic converters. The accuracy of the simulator is verified by applying the model to five PV modules of different types (multi-crystalline, mono-crystalline, and thin-film) from various manufacturers. It is envisaged that the proposed work can be very useful for PV professionals who require a simple, fast and accurate PV simulator to design their systems.

  • In this experiment, we did sampling 6 kinds of photovoltaic modules and analyzed the discrepancy of measurement results between l laboratory and 4 PV makers to have performance repeatability at Standard Test Condition(STC) condition. From the KIER's results, Korea's standard test laboratory, other laboratory showed -10% measurement variation. The causes came from correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Form the comparison test, we analyzed the problems. But three PV maker reduced measurement variation, other one PV maker and one test laboratory didn't improve the problems of correction of reference cell, test condition and the state of skill. Also, High Efficiency Module had a big discrepancy of -10.0$\sim$-6.2% among 3 laboratories which have a less than 10msec light pulse duration time. This made low spectrum response speed so the Fill Factor decreased maximum output power under 10msec light pulse duration time

Improvement on the Quality and Functionality of Skipjack Tuna Cooking Drip Using Commercial Enzymes (효소분해에 의한 참치 자숙액의 품질 및 기능성 개선)

  • For the use of skipjack tuna cooking drip (STC) as a source of functional seasoning, the STC was hydrolyzed with various commercial enzymes, such as Alcalase, Flavourzyme, Neutrase and Protamex, and its hydrolysate was also investigated on the food component characteristics. The hydrolysate incubated with Alcalase for 30 min (HA30) showed 56.8% for angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory activity and 1.18 for antioxidative activity, which were high or similar compared to the other enzymatic hydrolysates. There were no differences in ACE inhibitory activity and antioxidative activity among HA30, two-step enzymatic hydrolysates, and ultrafilterates (molecular weight cut off, 10 kDa). The HA30 was very stable on the digestive enzymes, such as chymotrypsin, pepsin, trypsin according to the TCA (trichloroacetic acid) soluble index. The results suggested that skipjack tuna cooking drip could be used as a source for preparing functional seasoning sauce.

  • It is impossible to provide full diversity and full rate simultaneously using more than two transmit antennas in transmit diversity system. To do this, simple interference cancellation scheme and transmit power allocation scheme have been proposed, recently. But the former has increased noise power and the latter has increased interference which is induced by other channel in fading channel. In this paper, we propose an adaptive transmit power allocation algorithm to minimize the estimation error in the channel environments which have different fading levels each other and to improve the system performance.

  • Near-threshold computing (NTC) is now regarded as a promising candidate for innovative power reduction, which cannot be achieved with conventional super-threshold computing (STC). However, performance degradation and vulnerability to process variation in the NTC regime are the primary concerns. In this paper, we propose a voltage- and frequency-tuning methodology for mitigating the process-variation-induced problems in NTC-based manycore architectures. To implement the proposed methodology, we build up multiple-voltage multiple-frequency (MVMF) islands and apply a voltage-frequency tuning algorithm based on the critical-path monitoring technique to reduce the effects of process variation and maximize energy efficiency in the post-silicon stage. Experimental results show that the proposed methodology reduces overall power consumption by 8.2-20.0%, compared to existing methods in variation-sensitive NTC environments.

  • The purpose of this study is that there viewing at the future development direction and awareness of the cultural contents industry targeting college students for the activation of the domestic cultural content industry. And we want to find the need of the security industry & Concert Hall Safety. Recent worldwide it has occurred 'Soft target' terror targeting unspecified civilian in the cultural space of theater and music venues, stadiums etc. But security and safety systems against terror in Korea are very deficient situation. US security market has increased sales significantly interest in increasing against crime and terrorism prevention and depending on the price cut and technology development. It is expected to require a security industry in a variety of applications to the cultural contents industry development about Korean pop music and theatrical performances, and internet and mobile games stc.

  • In this paper, we analyze the Transition of Isc by natural solar spectrum of c-Si and a-Si PV module. Commonly, performance of photovoltaic (PV) module is estimated under the standard test condition (STC). That is, solar irradiance $1kW/m^2$, solar spectrum distribution: AM1 5G, module temperature $25^{\circ}C$ This means it rarely meets actual outdoor conditions. The solar spectrum always changes. So it is rare to fit the standard solar spectrum AM1 5G defined in ASTM G173-03 or IEC 60904-3. Thus spectral response of PV module is different depending on the material. so we estimated the variation of Isc at every minutes by comparing c-Si PV module with a-si PV module for outdoor conditions.

Analysis of Sound Insulation Performance of Honeycomb Composite Panels for Cruise Ships (크루즈선박용 허니컴 패널의 차음 성능 해석)

  • In this paper, the interface matrix of honeycomb composite panel has been derived by the governing equation of a honeycomb sandwich panel. The interface matrix of honeycomb panel is added to the previously developed transfer matrix method, thus analysis of the multi-layered insulation composite panel with honeycomb is accomplished. Furthermore, predictions of sound transmission loss(STL) for the ship's insulation panel with honeycomb and mineral wool are presented. The insulation performance of the honeycomb used for skin of the ship's insulation panel is better than that of 0.35 mm steel panel by 2dB, approximately. Although honeycomb panel has inefficient insulation performance beside steel panel, honeycomb panel achieve improvements in the performance of weight reduction. The surface density of the panel with honeycomb is rather than with steel by $5.2kg/m^2$. It is decrease in weight by 31.7 %.

Analysis of Power Generation Characteristics of a Photovoltaic System in Korea (태양광발전시스템 국내 지역별 발전특성 분석)

  • In this study, reflecting long-term climate characteristics, we analyzed electricity generation and generation characteristics of 3kWp PV system, which was semi-integrated with air duct behind. Using PVsyst as a simulation analysis tool, we inputted "National reference standard weather data" of 16 regions as a typical climatic data. The result is summarized as follows: First, the national average annual electricity generation was 1,312 kWh/kWp (StDev, ${\sigma}=71$). It was most abundant in Mokpo with 1,434 kWh/kWp, which was average 21% greater than the lowest with 1,165 kWh/kWp in Seoul and 1,197 kWh/kWp in Jeju. National average daily generating time based on STC was 3.6 hours (${\sigma}=0.43$), and that of Mokpo and Seoul was 3.9 and 3.2 hours respectively. Second, Jeju showed the great difference of annual monthly generation by month (annual average = 99.7 kWh/kWp, ${\sigma}=25.5$), while Jinju showed the smallest difference (annual average = 115.5 kWh/kWp, ${\sigma}=10.6$). Generation in Jeju was at the largest in April with 132.2 kWh/kWp, which was 2.3 times greater than the lowest 55.2 kWh/kWp in January. However, generation in Jinju was at the largest in March with 129.3 kWh/kWp, which was only 1.3 times greater than the lowest 101.1 kWh/kWp in June. Third, the annual average PR was the highest in Incheon with 85.8% and the lowest in Jeju with 83.2%. PR of Mokpo was 84.3%, which was lower than that of national average.
