Solid State Reactions and Dielectric Properties of $BaTiO_3-SrTiO_2$ System ($BaTiO_3-SrTiO_2$ 계의 고상반응과 유전성)

  • $BaTiO_3$ and $SrTiO_2$ were mixed with the mole ratio of 36:65:50, 50: 50 and 65:35 and then heated at 110$0^{\circ}C$~130$0^{\circ}C$ for 1~64 hrs. The solid state reactions and dielectric properties were investigated as a function of amount of solid solution. Activation energy of solid solution decreased with increasing amount of $BaTiO_3$ due to fast diffusion of $Ba^{2+}$ ions. Dielectric constants increased with increasing the soaking time at 125$0^{\circ}C$and 130$0^{\circ}C$ and Curie Temperature shifted to higher temperature with increasing the soaking time at 125$0^{\circ}C$ and 130$0^{\circ}C$. It attributes to the am-ount of solid solution and grain growth, Dielectric constants decreased and Curie Temperature shifted to lower temperature due to decreasing polari-zability.

  • The various contents of MgF2 from 0 to 12.5wt% are studied in the AlF3-(Mg+Sr+Ba)F2-P2O5 system for the effects of various properties in glasses and the atmosphere of melting was controlled by N2 and Ar gas respectively. Density, refractive index, infrared transmission, thermal conductivity and thermal expansion coefficient of glasses are determined. Density, refractive index and thermal conductivity are decreased, micro-hardness and thermal expansion coefficient are increased according to the increasing of MgF2 contents. Infrared transmittance decreases with increasing the MgF2 contents and it slightly dropped by air than N2 and Ar atmosphere. Other properties are not influenced by atmosphere control.

Pressure Control of SR Driven Hydraulic Oil-Pump Using Data based PID Controller

  • This paper presents a practical method of pressure control for a hydraulic oil-pump system using an SR (Switched Reluctance) drive. For a 6Mpa grade hydraulic oil-pump, a 2.6kW SR drive is developed. In order to get high performance pressure dynamics in actual applications, a data based PID control scheme is proposed. The look-up table from a pre-measured data base produces an approximate current reference based on motor speed and oil-pressure. A PID controller can compensate for the pressure error. With the combination of the two references, the proposed control scheme can achieve fast dynamics and stable operation. Furthermore, a suitable current controller considering the nonlinear characteristics of an SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) and practical test methods for data measuring are presented. The proposed control scheme is verified by experimental tests.

Influence of Heat Diffusing Temperature for a (Sr.Ca)$TiO_3$-based Ceramics on Voltage-Current Properties ((Sr.Ca)$TiO_3$계 세라믹의 전압-전류 특성에 미치는 열확산 온도의 영향)

  • In this paper, the structural and electrical properties of the Sr$_{1-x}$ Ca$_{x}$TiO$_3$ (0$\leq$x$\leq$0.2) (0$\leq$r$\leq$0.2)-based grain boundary layer ceramics were investigated by X-ray, SEM and V-I system. Increasing the Ca content, the average grain size and the lattice constant were decreased. The relative density of all specimens was >96%. The 2nd phase formed by thermal diffusing from the surface lead to a very excellent electrical properties, that is, $\varepsilon$$_{r}$>50000, tan$\delta$<0.05, $\Delta$C< $\pm$ 10%.\pm$ 10%.%.

  • Wide range of methodology of reliability prediction for system exists. For railway field, MIL-HDBK-217F, which has not been revised since early in 1990, is used for reliability prediction if historical data is not available. Since this standard has been published, quality and performance of electronic products have been improved rapidly and various kinds of items have been released, however new versions of items could not be released because the prediction standard could not follow up the speed of the production. Thus, this thesis introduces Telcordia SR-332 Issue 2 and would like to compare and analyze the result from MIL-HDBK-217F together with some cases we performed.

Effects of Sr on the Electrical Properties of PZT Ceramics Prepared by Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis (자전연소반응법에 의해 제조된 PZT의 전기적 특성에 미치는 Sr의 영향)

  • PSZT are selected and SHS are applied to each system. The sintering properties of PSZT powders showed $7.754g/cm^3$ of sintered density and $4{\mu}m$ of grain size at sintering temperature of $1250^{\circ}C$. Curie temperature lowered gradually from $363.6^{\circ}C\;to\;319.2^{\circ}C$ and relative dielectric constants increased rapidly by a quantity of Sr. This remarkable contrast in dielectric properties with powder preparation methods, in this study, was not due to grain size and sintered density but rather a crystallinity and sinterability of synthesized powders, extra-supplied Pb during reaction, mol fraction of rhombohedral phase and purity of starting materials.

  • This paper investigated the effects of doping elements on the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O ceramics. The doping elements can be classified into four groups depending on their superconducting characteristics in the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O structure. The first group of doping elements(Co, Fe, Ni and Zn) substitute into the copper site and can reduce the critical temperatures of the 2223 and 2212 phases. The second group of doping elements(Y and La) substitute into the Ca site and cause the disappearance of the 2223 phase and increase the critical temperatures in the 2212 phase. The third group of doping elements(P and K) have a tendency to decompose the superconducting phase and reduce the optimal sintering temperature. The fourth group of doping elements(B, Si, Sn and Ba) almost unaffected the superconductivity of the 2223 and 2212 phase.

Effects of Bi$_2$O$_3$.3TiO$_2$ on the Dielectric Properties of Ceramics in the system (Sr.Pb)TiO$_3$ ((Sr.Pb)TiO$_3$계 세라믹의 유전특성에 미치는 Bi$_2$O$_3$.3TiO$_2$의 영향)

  • (1-X)(Sr$\_$7/9/Pb$\_$2/9/)$\_$(1-y)/(Ca$\_$1/5/Mg$\_$4/5/)$\_$y/TiO$_3$+X(BiO$_2$O$_3$$.$3TiO$_2$) (y=0.145, 0$\leq$X$\leq$0.08) ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1180∼1230[$^{\circ}C$], 2[hr], respectly. The grain size were grown with increasing the contents of Bi$_2$O$_3$$.$3TiO$_2$, but decreased more and less in the specimens which had more than 0.04[mol].

Computational Design of a 50 kW Chemical Heat Pump System for Air-Conditioning (50 kW 냉방용 화학열펌프 시스템의 전산설계)

  • 50 kW 냉방용 화학열펌프에 관한 전산설계를 하기 위하여 반응기 모사용 부프로그램을 작성하였으며 전체 시스템을 위하여 상용모사기인 ASPEN PLUS를 이용하였다. 반응물로 각각 SrCl2-8/1 NH3 그리고 MnCl2-6/2 NH3를 사용하는 두 시스템에 대하여 비교 연구하였으며, 조작조건에 따라 시스템 설계치의 변화를 관찰하였다. 이로부터 향후 실용화될 화학열펌프 시스템에 대한 기본 설계자료를 제시할 수 있었다. SrCl2-8/1 NH3를 반응물로 한 경우 반응기의 UA는 6,868.2 J/(s·K), 출력은 95.2 kW이었고, 제한 성능 계수는 0.40이었다. MnCl2-6/2 NH3의 경우 UA는 1,569.7 J/(s·K), 출력은 109.0 kW이었으며 제한 성능계수는 0.34이었다. 이로부터 SrCl2-8/1 NH3을 반응물로 한 시스템이 MnCl2-6/2 NH3를 사용한 시스템보다 유리함을 알 수 있었다.
