A total number of 365 married men and women in their 30s-50s were surveyed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 18.0 for technical statistics, frequency analysis, and regression analysis, and parametric analysis was performed using the method by Baron and Kenny(1986). The results of the study are as follows. First, as a result of the verification of differences in key variables according to the demographic characteristics, there were significant differences in the age group, education period and household income. Second, the analysis of the relationship through regression analysis shows that the demographic factors such as age, age of the youngest child, and more importantly couple communication, and marital intimacy are influential in marital satisfaction. The results of analysis showed that the rate of unmet dental needs stood at 35.3% of all subjects. Moreover, to determine the factors related to the unmet dental needs, the logistics regression analysis of complex samples was conducted. The results of analysis showed that the demographic and socio-economic factors and oral health condition factors had relationship with unmet dental needs. It is necessary to consider all the objective dental treatments that reflect specific dental diagnosis from a comprehensive standpoint.

  • Path analysis is a useful method to find out direct or indirect effects between variables. Compared to regression analysis for studying the casual relationship, this method has a good advantage. In this study, I want to figure out direct or indirect relationships between golf skills and adjust average scores using path analysis. To analyze data, I applied AMOS in SPSS and collected data in 2010 PGA.

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate factors influencing successful aging in middle-aged women. Methods: A convenience sample of 103 middle-aged women was selected from the community. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, two-sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis test, Pearson correlations, Spearman correlations and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Results of regression analysis showed that significant factors influencing successful aging were post-traumatic growth and social support. This regression model explained 48% of the variance in successful aging. Conclusion: Findings show that the concept 'post-traumatic growth' is an important factor influencing successful aging in middle-aged women. In addition, social support from friends/co-workers had greater influence on successful aging than social support from family. Thus, we need to consider the positive impact of post-traumatic growth and increase the chances of social participation in a successful aging program for middle-aged women.
