탄성이론을 이용한 소나 다층구조물의 음향 수신 성능해석 (An Acoustic Reception Ability Analysis of SONAR Multilayer Structures by Using Elastic Theory)

  • 수중무기체계에 있어 소나 탐지 성능은 생존성 향상을 위한 중요한 인자이다. 소나의 음향수신 성능을 파악하기 위해서 탄성이론을 이용하여 소나 다층구조의 음향 성능을 해석하였다. 단순구조물에 대하여 탄성이론을 적용하여 얻은 본 해석 결과를 상용해석프로그램인 ANSYS와 비교하였고, 만족할만한 결과를 얻었다. 검증된 탄성이론을 이용하여 소나 다층구조의 층별 두께 변화에 따른 음압 및 반향음 감소 해석을 수행하였다. 무반향(anechoic)층의 두께가 증가할수록 주파수에 따른 음압이 고르게 분포하고 반향음 감소량이 약간 증가하는 것을 확인하였다. 비결합(decoupling)층과 스틸(steel)층의 경우 두께에 따른 음압의 변화는 거의 없으나 두꺼워질수록 반향음이 약간 감소하는 결과를 나타내었다. 탄소강화플라스틱(Carbon Reinforced Platic, CRP)층의 두께 변화는 음압과 반향음 감소량에 영향이 없는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 소나 다층구조의 음향성능을 높이기 위해서는 무반향층을 두껍게 하고, 비결합층, 스틸층과 탄소강화플라스틱층은 최소화하는 것이 바람직할 것으로 예상된다.

  • A lectin was purified from Serrognathus platymelus castanicolor larvae and named as SPL. The purification was carried out by ion-exchange chromatography on DEAE Sephadex A-50 and gel filtration chromatography on Sephadex G-200. The purity of the protein was verified by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the purified lectin agglutinated erythrocytes of rabbit and human A, B, O, AB. SPL was tested it's ability to enhance the expressions of cytokines, $IL-1\alpha$, IL-2, IL-6, $TNF\alpha$ and $IFN\gamma$ by human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) obtained from healthy donors. mRNA analyses were performed by RT-PCR at the moment of 1, 4, 8, 24, 48, 72 and 96 h after stimulation of PBMC with purified SPL. The patterns of IL-2 band were slightly expressed from 24 h and the strongest band was appeared at 96 h. The expressions of $IL-1\alpha$ and IL-6 mRNA were strong from 1 to 8 h and those of $TNF\alpha$ were from 48 to 96 h. The mRNA encoding $IFN\gamma$ were not detected. The addition of SPL for macrophage cultures induced production of nitric oxide (NO) by cells in a dose-dependent manner. NO release was partially inhibited by $TNF\alpha$ antibodies. These results suggest that SPL has the ability to enhance cytokine expressions in PBMC and to induce the NO release by TNFa in macrophage cultures from PBMC cultures.

  • 가장 간단한 샘플링을 위한 목적으로 SPL (Smoothed Projected Landweber)기법 기반의 움직임 보상 블록 압축센싱 기법이 모든 센싱 프레임들에 대해 분산 압축 비디오 센싱 기술이 적용되는 효과적인 방안으로 연구되어 오고 있다. 그러나 기존의 움직임 보상 블록기반의 압축센싱 기법은 매우 간단하여 복원된 위너-지브 프레임에서 우수한 화질을 제공하지 못하는 한계점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 움직임 보상 블록기반의 압축센싱 기법을 이용한 위너-지브 프레임에서 우수한 화질을 제공될 수 있도록 알고리즘을 변형한다. 즉, 제안된 알고리즘은 참조 프레임이 연속적인 프레임들에 있어 시간적 상관관계에 기초해서 적응적으로 선택되도록 하는 방법으로 설계된다. 다양한 실험 결과를 통하여 제안한 알고리즘은 기존의 알고리즘에 비해 우수한 화질을 제공할 수 있음을 확인한다.

  • 산업 및 가전 제품에서 소프트웨어의 중요성이 커지면서 소프트웨어 재사용과 제품라인 방법론에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 제품라인 방법론은 초기 비용과 시간이 많이 들고 구체적인 절차나 성공 사례가 부족하여 산업체에서 적용하기에는 어려운 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업체에서 제품라인 기법을 쉽게 적용할 수 있도록, 기존에 개발된 소프트웨어 자산과 해당 도메인의 휘처모델을 활용하여 제품라인을 쉽게 구축할 수 있는 추출식 접근법의 구체적인 방법을 제시하고 이를 케이블 셋톱박스 소프트웨어에 적용한 사례를 소개한다. 또한, 제품라인으로의 전환 효과를 확인할 수 있는 평가 기준을 제안하고, 사례 연구를 통해 얻은 교훈을 정리하여 다른 산업 및 가전 제품의 소프트웨어에 적용할 수 있는 지침을 제공한다.

  • Software product lines (SPLs) are complex software systems by nature due to their common reference architecture and interdependencies. Therefore, any form of evolution can lead to a more complex situation than a single system. On the other hand, software product lines are developed keeping long-term perspectives in mind, which are expected to have a considerable lifespan and a long-term investment. SPL development organizations need to consider software evolution in a systematic way due to their complexity and size. Addressing new user requirements over time is one of the most crucial factors in the successful implementation SPL. Thus, the addition of new requirements or the rapid context change is common in SPL products. To cope with rapid change several researchers have discussed the evolution of software product lines. However, for the evolution of an SPL, the literature did not present a systematic process that would define activities in such a way that would lead to the rapid evolution of software. Our study aims to provide a requirements-driven process that speeds up the requirements engineering process using social network sites in order to achieve rapid software evolution. We used classification, topic modeling, and sentiment extraction to elicit user requirements. Lastly, we conducted a case study on the smartwatch domain to validate our proposed approach. Our results show that users' opinions can contain useful information which can be used by software SPL organizations to evolve their products. Furthermore, our investigation results demonstrate that machine learning algorithms have the capacity to identify relevant information automatically.

The Effect of Occupational Noise Exposure on Serum Cortisol Concentration of Night-shift Industrial Workers: A Field Study

  • Background: In both developed and developing countries, noise is regarded as the most common occupational hazard in various industries. The present study aimed to examine the effect of sound pressure level (SPL) on serum cortisol concentration in three different times during the night shift. Methods: This case-control study was conducted among 75 workers of an industrial and mining firm in 2017. The participants were assigned to one of the three groups (one control and two case groups), with an equal number of workers (25 participants) in each group. Following the ISO 9612 standard, dosimetry was adopted to evaluate equivalent SPL using a TES-1345 dosimeter. The influence of SPL on serum cortisol concentration was measured during the night shift. The serum cortisol concentration was measured using a radioimmunoassay (RIA) test in the laboratory. Repeated measure analysis of variance and linear mixed models were used with ${\alpha}=0.05$. Results: The results indicated a downward trend in the serum cortisol concentration of the three groups during the night shift. Both SPL and exposure time significantly affected cortisol concentration (p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001). Conversely, age and body mass index had no significant influence on cortisol concentration (p = 0.360, p = 0.62). Conclusion: Based on the obtained results, increasing SPL will lead to enhancement of serum cortisol concentration. Given that cortisol concentration varies while workers are exposed to different SPLs, this hormone can be used as a biomarker to study the effect of noise-induced stress.

보간법을 이용한 옥타브 밴드폭 음향 하중 SPL의 시계열 데이터 생성 (Generation of Time Series Data from Octave Bandwidth SPL of Acoustic Loading Using Interpolation Method)

  • Thermal protection system structures such as double-panel structures are used on the skin of the fuselage and wings to prevent the transfer of high heat into the interior of an high supersonic/hypersonic aircraft. The thin-walled double-panel skin can be exposed to acoustic loads by high power engine noise and jet flow noise, which can cause sonic fatigue damage. In order to predict the fatigue life of the skin, the octave bandwidth SPL should be calculated as narrow bandwidth PSD or acoustic load history using interpolation method. In this paper, a method of converting the octave bandwidth SPL acoustic load into a narrow bandwidth PSD and reconstructed acoustic load history was investigated. The octave bandwidth SPL was converted to the narrow bandwidth PSD using various interpolation methods such as flat, log and linear scale, and the probabilistic characteristics and fatigue damage results were compared. It was found that average error of fatigue damage index by the log scale interpolation method was relatively small among three methods.

  • The aeroacoustic noise from intake head of a vacuum cleaner is caused by complicated transient pressure fluctuation and it greatly affects the overall SPL of the vacuum cleaner. In this study, we intended to decrease the overall SPL by reducing the aeroacoustic noise from intake head. In the first the place, we analyzed the aeroacoustic noise from the unsteady fluid analysis of intake head. And then, we grasped the dominant frequency band from the aeroacoustic noise by comparing the spectrum distributions between examinations and analyses. Also, we systematically investigated the aeroacoustic noise sources from each part composing the intake head. Consequently, we redesigned each part of the dominant noise sources and suggested the modified intake head, resulting in the reduction ortho overall SPL by 3.6dB(A).

  • The effect of spatial factors on subjective responses to heavy-weight floor impact noise was investigated. Heavy-weight impact noises were generated and recorded in several apartments and a testing building using impact ball and binaural microphone to measure IACC of the noises. Just noticeable differences (JNDs) of IACC and SPL of heavy-weight impact noise were also investigated. Auditory experiments were conducted using method of limit. It was found that the JNDs of IACC and SPL were 0.12 and 1.5dB, respectively. Contribution of IACC and SPL to annoyance of heavy-weight floor impact noise is being further investigated.

  • Runoff, sediments and nutrient losses were studied under different patterns of paddy field management: (1) fall and spring plowing (PL); (2) fall plowing for half of plot and spring plowing (SPL); (3) no-till for fall and spring plowing (NPL) during the non-cropping period in the southern Korea. Sediment losses from PL plot were 25% more than those from NPL plot. There was significant difference in nutrient losses via runoff water and sediment according to plowing practice (P < 0.01). Losses of total-N, ammonia-N, nitrate-N, total-P from NPL plot were larger than PL and SPL plots during study period. Sediment and total-P losses from SPL plot were close to those of PL plot.
