Long-term Evaluation of QZSS SLAS Correction Accuracy (QZSS SLAS 보정정보 정확도의 장기간 성능분석)

  • The quasi-zenith satellite system (QZSS) provides sub-meter level augmentation service (SLAS) to improve the positioning accuracy of single-frequency GPS L1 receiver users. The SLAS correction consists of differential GPS information (DGPS) and the corrections are transmitted via quasi-zenith satellites (QZS). The DGPS correction reduces the effect of pseudo-range errors due to satellite orbit, clock and atmospheric delay errors. Thirteen SLAS reference stations in Japan generate the correction data. The performance of the DGPS correction depends on several factors, including location of reference stations, distance between the user and reference station, etc. The long-term performance of the SLAS corrections was evaluated by processing data over a five-year period (2019-2023). The SLAS corrections were applied to GPS observations at the IGS stations in Japan and the positioning accuracy was evaluated. The correlation with the ionospheric activity and the latitude of the SLAS reference stations was also evaluated.

  • China Coastal Water (CCW) usually appears in the seas surrounding Jeju Island annually (June?October) and is very pronounced in August. The power spectrum density (PSD), sea level anomalies (SLAs), and sea surface temperatures (SSTs) were found to peak annually and semiannually. The peaks at intervals of 80-, 60-, and 43-days are considered to be influenced by CCW and the Kuroshio Current. Generally, low-salinity water appears to the west of Jeju Island from June through October and gradually propagates to the east, where CCW meets the Tsushima Current. Empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis of SLAs and SSTs indicated that the variance in SLAs and SSTs was 55.70 and 98.09% in the first mode, respectively. The PSD for the first mode of EOF analysis of SLAs was stronger in the western than in the eastern waters because of the influence of CCW. The PSD for the EOF analysis of SSTs was similar in all areas (the Yangtze Estuary and the waters to the west and east of Jeju Island), with a period of approximately 260 days.

  • As demand for IT services increase, which are based on SOA and cloud computing, service level agreements (SLAs) have received more attention in the parties concerned. An SLA is usually a paper contract written in natural language. SLA management tools which are commercially available, implement SLAs implicitly in the application with a procedural language. This makes automation of SLA management difficult. It is also laborious to maintain contract management systems because changes in a contract give rise to extensive modifications in the source code. We see the source of the trouble is the existence of documentary SLAs (paper contracts) and corresponding executable SLAs (contracts coded in the procedural language). In this paper, to resolve the current SLA management problems we propose an active SLM (Active Service Level Management) system, which is based on the active SLA (Active Service Level Agreement). In the proposed system, the separated management and processing of dual SLAs can be unified into a single process with the introduction of active SLAs (ASLAs).

The power quality of internet hosting server unit, power system and UPS is very important for better internet service. Therefore, the higher reliability of power system is imperative for satisfying SLAs. This paper presents the status measurement of domestic IDCs harmonics and illustrates the reduction effect of harmonics through the multi-phase.

  • The coarse and fine aggregates that make up the majority of concrete are resources. But, the raw naturals that make up concrete are our earth's resources and there is not a replenishable stock. Also industrial waste and life waste leaped into a pollution source. Therefore, as construction continue, quarries are exhausted and new sources must be discovered. The purpose of this paper is to investigate an application of recycled coal ash plastics in the construction field. The study examined the physical and mechanical properties of recycled coal ash plastics aggregate. In the results, although the absorption and specific gravity of SLAs increases slightly as the fly ash content increases, the compressive strength and modulus of elastic of concrete made with SLAs remains relatively constant when mortar type and volume fraction are also held constant. These values are always lower than natural-weight aggregate concretes.

The PSD for the EOF analysis of SSTs was similar in all areas (the Yangtze Estuary and the seas to the west and east of Jeju Island), with a period of approximately 260 days.

  • With the development of information technology, IT-based services in public administration has become more indispensable. As a result, the importance of IT maintenance projects to improve the efficiency of IT services and secure service levels is growing. Due to the nature of IT maintenance projects on local government, which mainly involve small and medium-sized IT companies in the region, business participating companies often do not have an appropriate methodology for service quality management. To solve this situation, the government has prepared a service level agreements (SLAs) that can be applied to IT maintenance projects. However, most local governments do not use SLAs for IT maintenance projects. As a result, various problems such as failure of the IT maintenance project or deterioration of quality are occurring Thus, this paper suggested major indexes to evaluate which service factors affect the efficient operation of information systems and the improvement of service quality in IT maintenance projects of local governments and analyzed the importance of indexes based on AHP method. Using this research method, this study found the theoretical implications on the outsourcing service of IT maintenance.
