광조형물의 표면조도 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving the Surface Roughness of Stereolithography Parts)

  • SL(Stereolithography) part is made by piling up thin layers which causes the stair stepping effect at the surface of SL parts. The effect brings about excessive surface roughness and cuts down the merits of using SL part. Hence, additional post-machining finishing such as traditional grinding is required. But the traditional post-machining is detrimental to part geometry and time consuming. In this study, therefore, a paraffin coating and grinding post-machining is newly proposed to improve the surface quality of SL fart. The paraffin which has suitable properties for the proposed post-machining is coated all over the part surface. By grinding the only over-coated paraffin based on boundary of the SL part surface, the surface roughness can be improved without any damage on the part. Also, it is verified that SL part finished by the proposed post-machining process can be applied for rapid tooling as pattern through manufacturing silicon rubber molding and casting test.

This effect causes excessive surface roughness and requires additional postprocess finishing such as abrasive basting which is detrimental to part geometry and time consuming. Hence paraffin coating and grinding postprocess is proposed to raise the surface quality of SL part. The paraffin which has suitable properties for the proposed postprocess is coated all over the part surface. By grinding the thin layer of coated on the SL part only, the surface roughness can be improved without any damage on the part. From the experimental result, It is verified as very practical for die casting with silicon rubber mold.

Hence a wax coating and grinding post-process is proposed to improve the surface quality of SL part. The wax that has suitable properties for the proposed post-process is coated all over the part surface. By grinding the thin layer of coated on the SL part only, the surface roughness can be improved without any damage on the part. From the experimental results, This approach is considered to be very practical fur die casting with RT(Rapid Tooling) techniques.

  • Rapid prototyping (RP) technology can fabricate any 3D physical model regardless of geometric complexity using the layered manufacturing (LM) process. Stereolithography (SL) is the best-known example of RP technology. In general, the surface quality of a raw SL-generated part is unsatisfactory for industrial purposes due to the step artefact created by the LM process. Despite of the increased number of applications for SL parts, this side effect limits their uses. In order to improve their surface quality, additional post-machining finishing, such as traditional grinding, is required, but post-machining is time consuming and can reduce the geometric accuracy of a part. Therefore, this study proposes a post-machining technology combining coating and grinding processes to improve the surface quality of SL parts. Paraffin wax and pulp are used as the coating and grinding materials. By grinding the coating wax only up to the boundary of the part, the surface smoothness can be improved without damaging the surface. Finally, moulding and casting experiments were performed to confirm the suitability of the SL parts finished using the proposed process with rapid tooling (RT) techniques.

  • 본 논문에서는 [1]에서 제안된 shifting-level (SL) process를 입력으로 하는 대기체계인 SL/D/1/K에 대한 분석방법을 제시한다. SL/D/1/K 대기체계의 분석은, 상태전이 시점사이가 exponential 분포를 따르지 않고, 시스템의 크기가 연속적인 값을 취하기 때문에, 정확한 분석이 매우 어렵다. ‘양자화 축소 방식’(quantization reduction method)은, 입력의 상태전이 시점에서 시스템상태를 양자화하는 방식으로 셀손실과, 대기지연시간 등의 시스템 성능에 대한 근사치를 제시한다. 더욱이, 제안되는 방식에서는 단기 시스템성능의 근사치를 제공하는 것에 그치지 않고 상한치와 하한치를 함께 제공함으로서, 양자화에 따르는 오차의 정도를 예측 할 수 있게 하였다. 실험결과, 데이터 양이 많고 상관도가 높은 영상 트래픽에 적용하였을 때, 1% 내외의 정확도를 유지하면서도, 계산에 필요한 행렬의 크기를 1/100이하로 줄일 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는‘shifting-level (SL) process’을 기초로 한 모델을 사용하여, VBR 부호화된 영상트래픽의 long-range dependence (LRD) 특성이 대기체계에 미치는 영향에 대해서 연구하였다. 연구 내용은 제1부와 제2부로 나누어 전개된다. 제 1부에서는 실제 영상트래픽의 자기상관함수가 exponential과 hyperbolic의 복합함수로 매우 정확히 표현될 수 있음을 보이고, 이러한 조건을 만족하는 SL process with compound correlations(SLCC)를 제안한다. 대표적인 SRD 모델인 DAR(1)모델과의 대기성능 비교를 통하여 hyperbolic한 상관도가 대기체계에 끼치는 영향을 분석한다. 분석결과 영상의 LRD 특성이 대기체계에 끼치는 영향의 중요도는 단순히‘Yes/No’로 답할 수 없으며, 트래픽 부하가 높아지면 그 영향이 강하게 나타나고, 반대로 트래픽 부하가 낮은 경우에는 무시할 수 있을 정도로 약하게 나타남을 알 수 있다. 여기에 사용하는 SL/D/1/K 대기체계의 해석방법을 제2부에서 다루게 된다.

양식산 참조기(Larimichthys polyactis) (민어과) 자치어의 상대성장과 비늘 형성 (Relative Growth and Squamation in Larvae and Juvenile of Cultured Larimichthys polyactis (Sciaenidae))

  • We investigated the relative growth and squamation of larvae and juveniles of cultured Larimichthys polyactis. Analysis of the relative growth of larvae and juveniles showed that their preanal length, head length, eye diameter, body depth, and snout length increased with growth. There was no significant chage in the relative growth. The ratio of preanus length to standard length (SL) increased rapidly until SL was approximately 12 mm, and then increased gradually. Cycloid scales first appeared on the lateral line, progressed to the abdominal cavity at 15.13 mm SL, and expanded to the occipital region, base of pectoral fin, and ventral region of the eye at 17.82 mm SL. At 18.03 mm SL, scales formed on the cheek, and those at the base of pectoral fin and in the abdominal cavity were connected to each other. At 19.06 mm SL, major part of the head was covered by scales, except near the lower jaw. Cycloid scales on the lateral line changed to ctenoid scales at the range of 31.71-32.24 mm SL, and those on the nape changed at the range of 69.02-70.84 mm SL. Our results may help to establish conservation and management strategy for Larimichthys polyactis aquaculture.

Parturition and Morphological Development of Larvae and Juvenile in Hippocampus kuda from Korea

  • The newborn, Hippocampus kuda larvae were 6.97-8.81, standard length (SL) mm (mean 7.89 mm) and mouth and anuse were open. Dorsal fin rays 15-18 and pectoral fin-rays were counted 8 and had 10-11+21 myotomes, body's bony plate ring being developed strongly in the central axis of myotomes part. 4 days after bearing, the SL was 7.02-9.47 mm (mean 8.24 mm) and nostrils began to open. 12 days after bearing, larvae attained to 8.91-11.2 SL mm (mean 10.0 mm). From this time, their unique predation habit appeared. 21 days bearing, larvae attained to 12.1-14.8 SL mm (mean 13.4 mm) the and thorn of back was enlarged among the plate formed around ring. 41 days bearing, seahorses attained to 17.1-17.8 SL mm (mean 17.4 mm) and the number of body's bony plate ring of the top of rings trunk was 11 and on the tail of them was 33-36, similar to figure of adult.

  • Three marine fish species are recorded for the first time from Korean waters: a molid (Ranzania laevis, 1 specimen, 279.8 mm SL) and bramid (Pterycombus petersii, 3 specimens, 95.3-214.0 mm SL) collected from a large purse seine off Jeju Island, in the southern sea of Korea, and a carangid (Carangoides dinema, 1 specimen, 194.5 mm SL) from a set net in coastal waters off Busan, in the southeastern sea of korea. R. laevis is characterized by a wedge-shaped body and truncated clavus; P. petersii by the dorsal fin origin above or behind the posterior margin of eye, and dorsal and anal fins depressible; and C. dinema by a row of black blotches along the second dorsal fin base, the curved part of the lateral line longer than straight part, and 18 and 16 dorsal and anal fin rays, respectively. New Korean names are proposed for all three species.

  • The use of Self-Leveling material is increasing recently. This paper assesses the quality of surface layer of concrete floor when Self-Leveling material is defective. The paper shows how to predict the defect of SL material before construction begins. The relationship between the quality of surface layer of concrete floor and the defect of SL material was determined and the quality of surface layer of concrete floor was then estimated. The relations between the quality of surface layer and the defect of SL material were determine considering surface strength, moisture, and consistency of surface layer. Absorbing amount was used as the indicator of consistency and the absorbing amount of test material was measured. Then the relations between the test material and surface strength were determined. Generally concrete floor with greater consistency has greater surface strength, however in this study, we hound that high impact concrete floor could have lower surface strength as the consistency gets bigger. The relations between the level of defect occurred in SL material and the quality of surface layer were examined and we clarified that the surface layer with lower consistency gets higher possibility to occur exfoliation in early stage, one or two weeks after constructing SL material. When the consistency is sufficient, the occurring situation of defect depends upon the moisture of surface layer. Little amount of moisture gets higher possibility not to occur the defect. As the amount increases, fissure generates and early exfoliation may occur. In addition, the level of fissure is highly related with the surface strength.
