네트워크의 광대역화, 방송의 디지털화와 웹2.0을 모토로 하는 사용자의 정보 소비 행태 변화는 기존의 방송과 통신의 경계를 허무는 통방 융합 서비스의 도래를 가져왔다. 본 논문에서는 대표적인 통방 융합 서비스인 IPTV 서비스의 정의 및 서비스 특징에 대하여 알아보며, 사용자의 정보 이용환경 및 기술 발전에 근거한 IPTV서비스의 진화 방향에 대하여 고찰해 보고자 한다. 이를 위하여 서비스 특징 및 기술을 고려한 IPTV 서비스정의에 대하여 알아보며, 각각의 서비스 특징 및 기술에 대하여 서비스 진화적인 측면에서 고찰한다. IPTV서비스의 향후 발전 방향은 웹2.0기반 서비스와 이동형 서비스이며, 개인화 및 개방성을 지원하기 위한 IMS/SDP 기술이 중요하게 부각되고 있다. 또한 지식기반 유비쿼터스 사회로의 전환에 징검다리 역할을 할 홈 네트워크 환경에서, IPTV서비스 및 플랫폼은 중심적인 역할을 담당할 것이다. 이를 위하여 IPTV서비스를 위한 콘텐츠 및 플랫폼 기반 기술이 중요성을 가지며 망 진화 관점에서 IPTV 서비스 관련기술이 개발되어야 한다.

In this paper we investigate the local spectral properties of quasidecomposable operators. We show that if $T{\in}L(X)$ is quasi-decomposable, then T has the weak-SDP and ${\sigma}_{loc}(T)={\sigma}(T)$. Also, we show that the quasi-decomposability is preserved under commuting quasi-nilpotent perturbations. Moreover, we show that if $f:U{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{C}}$ is an analytic and injective on an open neighborhood U of ${\sigma}(T)$, then $T{\in}L(X)$ is quasi-decomposable if and only if f(T) is quasi-decomposable. Finally, if $T{\in}L(X)$ and $S{\in}L(Y)$ are asymptotically similar, then T is quasi-decomposable if and only if S does.

All IP Mobile Network 하에서의 효율적인 멀티캐스트 전송의 필요성이 부각되고있다. Mobile IP프로토콜은 기본적으로 유니캐스트전송을 지원하며, 멀티캐스트 전송에 대해서는 효과적으로 정의하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 Mobile IP 망에 명시적 라우팅 프로토콜을 적용할 경우 기존 멀티캐스트 라우팅 도매인과의 연동을 하기 위한 미디어 게이트웨이(MGEM)를 설계하고 개발한다. 기존 멀티캐스트 트래픽을 1:N tunnel 의 특성을 가지는 명시적 멀티캐스트 전송방식을 사용하여 멀티캐스트 패킷을 이동단말들에 전송하기 위해서는 Mobile IP 홈에이젼트가 MGEM으로 확장되어야 하며, 이는 IGMP, SDP, 확장 HA 및 멀티캐스트 라우터 기능을 갖도록 요구된다.

오늘날 무선통신 기술은 기존 유선 통신방식에 추가하여 매우 주목받고 있는 정보통신 혁명을 주도하였다. 무선 통신에서 자체 피코넷(piconet)을 형성하여 음성이나 데이터 통신을 수행하는 이러한 블루투스 기술은 많은 응용분야에 적용되고 있고 이제 액세스 망을 통해 공중망과 접속 가능하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 블루투스 프로토콜의 핵심적인 기술을 교육하기 위하여 블루투스 디바이스와 RS232 또는 USB 인터페이스로 접속된 PC에서 블루투스 프로토콜의 핵심적인 스택인 HCI, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP를 설계, 구현하였다. 아울러 PC 상에서 이러한 블루투스 프로토콜을 체계적이고 쉽게 교육하고자 교육용 소프트웨어를 개발하였다. 이의 개발 환경으로는 윈도우 OS와 비주얼 C++을 사용하였다. 비주얼 C++로 작성된 프로그램은 블루투스 디바이스에 실장 된 펌웨어와 인터페이스를 수행하여 개발되었다.

A GDHS(Geothermal District Heating System) is a heating system supplying a group of districts with heat extracted from geothermal sources. Due to various advantages of GDHS including the saving of fuel consumption as well as the reduction of air pollution, a world-wide trend is to replace central/individual heating systems with GDH systems. The basic point of this paper is that a crash program mentality leads to inappropriate decisions about policy issues in large-scale research and development like the development of GDHS, R&D funding should be viewed as a sequential decision, not a once-and-for-all choice. Hence we develop on economic feasibility assessment model based on a continuous sequential decision process for the Chejoo Island GDHS Project by modifying Roberts's model.

This paper presents an optimization-based method for computing a minimal bounding ellipsoid that contains the set of static responses of an uncertain braced frame. Based on a non-stochastic modeling of uncertainty, we assume that the parameters both of brace stiffnesses and external forces are uncertain but bounded. A brace member represents the sum of the stiffness of the actual brace and the contributions of some non-structural elements, and hence we assume that the axial stiffness of each brace is uncertain. By using the $\mathcal{S}$-lemma, we formulate a semidefinite programming (SDP) problem which provides an outer approximation of the minimal bounding ellipsoid. The minimum bounding ellipsoids are computed for a braced frame under several uncertain circumstances.

본 논문에서는 홈네트워크에서 반드시 필요하게될 무선데이타통신 전송기술로서 블루투스 인터페이스의 상위 프로토콜 스택중 소프트웨어와 관련된 HCI(Host Controller Interface), L2CAP(Logical Link Control and Adaptation Protocol), SDP(Service Discovery Protocol)레이어에 관해 정의를 하고, 홈네트워크 미들웨어로서 자바를 기반으로한 Jini 시스템의 서비스제공자(services) 서비스관리자(Lookup service), 서비스이용자(client)간의 통신 구조에 대해 살펴본다. 블루투스 인터페이스를 이용한 Jini 시스템에서 client에 PDA, service로는 프린터로 구성하여 이에 기반한 여러 프로토콜의 사용을 설명하고 현재 SA-1110 보드상의 Jini 시스템을 구현중인 모델의 구성과 원격제어를 위한 향후 확장계획에 대해 간단하게 소개한다.

본 논문에서는 PDA 상에서 블루투스를 통하여 홈 서버에 연결하고 홈 네트워크 미들웨어의 서비스를 계층적으로 발견하는 방식을 제안한다. 즉, PDA 상에서 블루투스 SDP(Service Discovery Protocol)를 이용하여 홈 서버가 지원하는 미들웨어 서비스를 발견하고, 발견된 미들웨어 서비스를 통하여 댁내의 가능한 가전기기 서비스를 발견한다. 모바일 단말의 빈번한 이동으로 인한 서비스 발견 패킷 과부하 발생을 완화시키기 위하여 홈 서버에 서비스 발견 프락시 서버 기능을 추가한다.

The network reliability is to be computed in terms of the terminal reliability. The computation of a termini reliability is started with a Boolean sum of products expression corresponding to simple paths of the pair of nodes. This expression is then transformed into another equivalent expression to be a Disjoint Sum of Products form. But this computaion of the terminal reliability obviously does not consider the communication between any other nodes but for the source and the sink. In this paper, we derive the overall network reliability which is the probability of communication that each node in the network communicates with all other remaining nodes. For this, we propose a method to make the SOP disjoint for deriving the network reliability expression from the system success expression using the modified Sheinman's method and modified BDD method.

In this paper, we propose a design method for GBSB (generalized brain-state-in-a-box) based associative memories. Based on the theoretical investigation about the properties of GBSB, we parameterize the solution space utilizing the limited number of parameters sufficient to represent the solution space and appropriate to be searched. Next we formulate the problem of finding a GBSB that can store the given pattern as stable states in the form of constrained optimization problems. Finally, we transform the constrained optimization problem into a SDP(semidefinite program), which can be solved by recently developed interior point methods. The applicability of the proposed method is illustrated via design examples.
