  • This paper presents a production planning algorithm for minimizing the costs of production and subcontracting in SCM (supply chain management) environment. In our SCM environment, the several local plants that aye dispersed geographically produce parts and products. In this environment, we have to decide the production volumes of both parts and products considering the BOM (bill-of-material) structure to meet the fixed order quantity or forecasted demand quantity. Each plant produces the specified parts of product with finite production capacity. There exist subcontracting decisions relevant to the production capacity of each plant except the core process plant, and when we use the subcontractor's capacities we should be charged for the fixed subcontracting fees. The objective of this study is to solve the production planning problem, which minimizes the total costs of production, inventory, setup, and subcontracting under constraints of production and subcontracting capacity. For this problem, an integrated production planning model based on the multi-level capacitated lot sizing problem was formulated, and efficient decomposition algorithm was proposed. The experimental investigation shows that the proposed heuristic generates quite good solutions at very low computational costs.

  • Nowadays, SCM(supply chain management) is recognized as a efficient way to overcome the limits of asset and capability of one fun through the synergy effects comes from strategic alliance. Traditionally material management and logistics are recognized as a simple functional activity. But as the importance and needs of customer service are increased, gradually these activities are given to strategic role of cutting off the cost and increasing the sales. But unlike traditional alliance, for example technology alliance or holding facility in common, SCM has many difficulties in action because of differences in organization structure and management system between two firms. So in this paper, I will review literatures about the concept and constructing factor of SCM, the conditions for effective doing and strategic implications.

  • For most order-based production, it is important to meet urgent orders from important customers while maintaining high on-time delivery rate for successful supply chain management. In this paper, we propose an approach and a structure of planning system to implement Capable-To-Promise which promises the delivery time to the received order. We suggest and compare a few alternative order receiving policies for CTP.

  • In the rapid change of business environment, it is crucial that several companies with core competence cooperate together in order to deliver competitive products to the market faster. Thus a lot of companies are participating in supply chains and SCM (Supply Chain Management) become more important. To efficiently manage supply chains, the analysis of data from SCM systems is required. In this paper, we explain how to analyze SCM related data with process mining techniques. After discussing the data requirement for process mining, several process mining techniques for the data analysis are explained. To show the applicability of the techniques, we have performed a case study with a company in South Korea. The case study shows that process mining is useful tool to analyze SCM data. On specifically, an overall process, several performance measures, and social networks can be easily discovered and analyzed with the techniques.

  • The u-SCM to persue unification of the whole Supply Chain through ubiquitous computing and technical interface is raised its head for enterprise to secure endless competitive advantage and grow up constantly. This can be especially a matter of primary concern for business process elevation on various industry. The other side, The Traceability Service propelled both nationally and internationally is propelled specific industry to offer visibility and traceability of each manufacture on supply chain related to induce RFID, but standard Traceability Service Architecture isn't decided yet. This paper propose Model of Product Traceability Service which is based on EPCglobal Network to be the whole world standard architecture for the sake of efficient and perfect manufacture management on entire supply chain based on RFID.

  • In recent days a glowing consensus has been emerging among Korean manufacturing companies that e-Supply Chain Management. The companies also realize that the introduction of e-SCM is not an easy undertaking, and it faces a lot of difficult obstacles. Study was called e-SCM in order a small paper let our country Small and Medium industry understand importance of e-SCM, and to be utilized, Both understanding about e-SCM of College students and investigation executed a parallelism. The companies, Which actually do some e-business and are keen to do so in the future, have a better chance to introduce e-SCM.

  • This study develops three dimensions of a supply chain structure (i.e., supply network, conversion network, distribution network) and proposes a balanced scorecard (BSC) model in order to measure management performance. We may conclude that management performance depends on the supply chain structure, and performance of distribution network is better than that of supply and conversion networks based on the result of Scheff multi-comparison.

  • The primary objective of Supply Chain Management (SCM) is to optimize the cash, material and information flow for satisfying customer demands through coordinating the relationship between Supply Chain components such as suppliers, manufacturers, and inventories, etc. By Supply Chain Planning (SCP), operation tasks or goals, should be done in specific due date, are ordered to each SC component for achieving such objective. However, the achievement for operation tasks or goals is affected by uncertainties in SC. In general, reliability theory Is explained as the probability that a product or system will perform its specified function under prescribed conditions without failure for a specified period of time. Therefore, the reliability of SC can be defined as the probability that SC will satisfy customer demands until the specific due date. In this paper, a basic framework to evaluate reliability is respectively proposed as supply chain components, and then a overall framework to estimate the reliability for SC is also proposed.

  • The progress of information technology triggered the rapid progress of tourism industry and the industry has now grown to be the biggest and the highest value added producing industry. Tourism industry is characterized by its high information dependency and is subject to the frequent changes of schedule. Therefore, dynamic cooperations between the service provider and the service agent is essential. One of the latest trend in information technology is the popular adoption of XML as the standard means of document exchange in the internet environment. This paper proposes a supply chain management system which enhances the productivity and customer satisfaction in the tourism industry by exploiting the exchange of information in XML among the tourism society, which consists of the producer, the agents, and the consumer. This Paper is especially addressed to the applicability of e-SCM for the productivity enhancement in the tourism industry, which is known as the leading service industry in the internet environment.

  • This paper represents understanding about social responsibility of companies and a survey analysis for factors affecting in outcomes of win-win cooperation between Large Companies and Small-Medium Companies in establishing of supply chain management. For this study, seventeen questionnaires derived from past literature are surveyed and factor analysis are conducted. As the result, five factors are revealed and four factors among them affect effectively on the win-win cooperation.
